Robert Duvall May Star In AMC Series About The Pony Express!!
I am – Hercules!!
Robert Duvall, who starred in AMC’s hit miniseries “Broken Trail,” is reteaming with the channel for a proposed ongoing drama series about the Pony Express written by Erik Jendresen ("Band of Brothers").
Richard Donner (“Timeline,” “16 Blocks”) will helm the pilot, his first TV directorial effort since a 1992 episode of “Tales From The Crypt.”

I couldnt watch more than 30 mins of BROKEN TRAIL. Horrible dialog, and utterly predictable. It just seemed to me like a bad pilot for a TV western. Truly crapstacular!

The Pony Express wasn't around that long so I guess they would cram it all in within that limited window.

Robert Duvall can play the grizzled cowboy character for the rest of his career, and I will be one happy audience member!!!
