Yup. Rogue ain't doing it for me.
-
second
-
ok I had to say it....people who say FIRST or SECOND are and always shall be....DOUCHE BAGS!!!!!!!!
-
We gotta wait until episode 5 of True blood to see Bill visiting the old folks home? That was the one thing that I was genuinely looking forward to. I have a feeling he is gonna tell a damned good story.
-
gets all the pussy guys. Really, get with the times
-
2 episodes in and i can't stick with it. i've tried to give it a chance. but just coming off as emo-lite vampire lifetime shit to me.
-
Liked the second episode much better than the first. It's not quite "must see" material yet but I'm going to keep watching especially now that we'll finally get a feel of what the other vampires are like considering the only one we're all that familiar with has been Bill so far.
-
touch themselves while watching this show
There haven't been this many sticky fingers since Forever Knight went off the air -
I think these guys are taking a page from the Battlestar Galactica playbook, because that was my first thought as well: I have to wait HOW long to see a vampire talking about historical events?! Episode FIVE?! If this show was real, historians and universities would be having kittens. Vampires would be paid consultants to historical movies, high-risk jobs, and all sorts of unusual things. Instead the show is blah, blah, blah, weird sex, blah, blah, blah, weird almost-sex, blah, one-sided fight, blah.
-
...the fact that, week in and week out, the guy made obviously stupid and petulant career decisions was starting to grate on me. I realize that the show is supposed to be a fantasy. However, it simply made no sense that the character could keep pissing off studio executives and turning down roles and expect to stay on top.
-
Because really, that's about the only thing worth watching for on this trainwreck.
-
..mmmmmmmmmm. Yes. Hopefully she's involved in one of the shows many hardcore "love" scenes.
-
Southern stereotypes, trashy sex, old tired vampire ideas, unengaging characters. Complete waste of time, makes Carnivale look like John Adams.
-
this show is definitely working for me. i can't wait for future episodes.
-
When the could have got Boo "Neck" Weekly instead? Weekly is much, much more intersting then bitch tits the choke queen.
-
Here Sookie Sookie Sookie Sookie! Come here girl! Good girl! Now bend over.
-
Trueblood and Fringe are my shows of choice this autumn.

Does everybody who hates True Blood hate Anna Paquin in it.
by lovecraftfan
Because she really is great. Very very likable. So is the guy who plays the vampire.
-
i know we're going to get some gay shit on there but i thought it was the best thus far. Plus that song at the end was great. Anybody know who and what that song was? thanks.
-
After that dreadful premiere this show seems to heading in a good direction and besides anna paquin has a nice little booty working in those shorts tonight
-
Somebody actually made a Matterhorn movie. Here is the link: tinyurl.com/4p2zn9
-
You have a hot ass Anna Paquin, creepy Louisiana vamps, vamps screwing vamp ho's, gore, boobies, and Alan Balls writing. Good enough for me. Already renewed for second season means something is going right. Still miss Carnivale.
-
Paquin is fucking gorgeous. Love the show so far; clearly a HUGE Buffy influence here, although the show is much more serious, not quite as jokey / cartoony.
-
I don't see it, apart from the vampires and the hot blonde lead. I'm thinking more of Vampire: The Masquerade and some Ann Rice (well before she went dog shit crazy) books
-
For me, this was the worst episode of True Blood yet (and I've been supportive). And it was the best episode of Entourage in a very long time.
-
I said I'd give it a few more in the last TB, but this week's episode was just pure crap. I'm out.
-
...True Blood's gonna have some crazy shit going on soon. According to the entry for the Sookie Stackhouse books, she ends up befriending the vampire sherrif Erik Northman (Erik The Viking... get it?), and falls in love with a werewolf named Alcide Herveaux who has a violent ex-girlfriend of some sort. Then she goes and bangs a weretiger named Quinn. In other words, she ends up fucking nearly every man/animal in the tri-state area besides Howard The Duck.
-
Why the fuck is everyone so easy when it comes to vampires. That show is just one step above Buffy. The vampires are the same boring effected quasi-evil, oh so mysterious, gothic rockstar strutting cliche bullshit vampires we've been seeing in pop culture for 20 years now. People said this show had something, that it was different and original. Well if they believe that, they've been living in a bubble and haven't seen any vampire related film or TV since Bela Lugosi. The show is shit, the writing is horrible, the main vampire hero is just plain mopey and boring, and with the exception of maybe two cast members the acting is mediocre at best- Anna Paquin being the worst. If all you vampire fans really love vampire mythos so much, why don't you expect something better instead of just eating up any fanged turd Hollywood throws at you. Then the rest of us wouldn't have to sift through all this half ass sci-fi and fantasy horror shit so much to find a good one.
