Merrick here...
UK's Radio 1 played a snippet of Jack White and Alicia Keys' much discussed QUANTUM OF SOLACE theme song. It's called "Another Way To Die".
BBC's website posted the clip, and discusses fan reaction...
HERE!!!
A different sampling from the song was revealed last week when used in this Coke Zero/QUANTUM OF SOLACE promo...
...although the Radio 1 clip is the first time we've actually heard vocals from the song.
HERE!!!

Sounds okay... going to have to see how it fits in context to the opening, and hear the whole thing. But It still sounds okay.
-
It grows on you as a SONG if you listen to it more than once, but as a Bond theme, nope.
-
The only problems I had with Casino Royale were the crappy theme song and the ridiculous poker hands...
-
This is the perfect choice, considering the direction of the new Bond franchise. Also, I remember people not liking You Know My Name too much... seems like it's grown on a lot of ya. Give it time!
-
Agree with slfrinky. Music cool.
-
leave jack white alone!
-
There are some parts where it feels like a Bond song, then there are parts (Like when the vocals come in) it sucks balls. I must admit, I really didn't like the Cornell song from CR. But listening to this song makes that one sound a little better. I wonder what Amy W's song would of sounded like if she wasn't such a train wreak. (BTW- She's still Number one on my Death Pool).
-
shame, the Cornell song was fine i thought, like the film, it ewas a fresh approach to a Bond theme..which is precisely what was needed, it just lacked that killer hook.
-
Nuff said
-
Or he'll have no front teeth left from all that fighting.
Song sounds prett cool can't wait for the whole thing.
-
Really--going for raw, poorly recorded and off-key vocals for a bond theme? Are we really sure this isn't a first rehearsal and not the final product?
-
...every bond theme since All Time High (Octopussy) hasn't really sounded like a Bond theme. Apart from Goldeneye - which maybe sounded TOO MUCH like a Bond theme.Hmmm
-
My god that's embarrassing. Musically, it's not too bad, but--FUCK--those vocals suck ass.
-

I like it -- It's no Live and Let Die, but it's not terrible.
by phaedrus007

...is hilarious. Sadly after a great first 30 seconds, everyone descends into lots of 'heeEEEY!' and 'whoaaah!' shit. Shame!

It's going to be embarrasing sitting thu this in the cinema
by mr gorilla
Now I know how my mum and dad must have felt during Duran Duran's 'A View to a Kill'.
-
Ugh. I'll need to wash out my ears, preferably with "Nobody Does It Better", "Live and Let Die", or even the vastly-superior rejected Bond theme retitled "Tomorrow Never Lies" by Pulp.
-
did an awesome rejected take on "The Man with the Golden Gun". Worth seeking out.
-
I'm pretty easy going when it comes to theme songs and the like. The basic melody and non-vocal production is fine. The vocals are utter *shit*--off key, dissonant, and often literally painful to hear. Did they record the vocals in one, agonizing take and call it a day?Unbelievable. Wow.
-
It's so close to being good, but the vocals suck. They sound like they're trying to do a live version.
I's say the best "modern" (post-Moore) bond theme was "The World is not Enough", followed closely by "You Know My Name". -
Just fucking awful.
-
I think its an alright song, you fucking write a Bond theme than!
-
Music is working but the vocals are not, and over all not amazing - and a Bond theme tune needs to be.
-
Worst Bond theme of all time! Incredibly mediocre! Unbelievable shit!
-
It's. the. UNBELIEVABLY. SHITTY. vocals.
-
are highly stylized and chance taking. we know both of them can sing well and sound over-produced, we've already heard it. this isnt being lazy, its pretty genius actually.
-
there is no doubt about that, but i chose to reiterate it anyway.
-
The lyrics have a real bite and they definitely conjure up images from the world of Craig's Bond. The instrumentation has grit & sass, and the vocalists really know how to curl those words across each phrase. People sneering how it's "off key" and the like...sorry. It's a pro song. You don't like it, no problem. But you only make yourself look silly by suggesting these musicians lack for competence. I like that it doesn't sound like a zombified Barry imitation, and I hope they keep the orchestration to a minimum for the film version. I'd really like it if they left it as crisp and hard as possible. And lastly, this Bond fan is hoping Craig will have at least one "ballad," a lush, slow-style song during his 007 tenure. This and the spectacular 2nd trailer are really delivering. Can't wait for the gunbarrel.
-
Duran Duran, Shirley Bassey or Tom Jones back! fuck it just get John Barry back as well because NOTHING beats the stuff those guys turned out.
-
would totally kick it on a modern Bond theme. the man has got the pipes.
-
That chick from The Gossip should be belting this fucker. It isn't a horrible song, but fuck, Alicia Keys doesn't have the right voice. Bond songs are so hard to do. There is way too much baggage involved. Too many classics that you have to erase the memory of every time. I'd hate to have my song compared to "Goldfinger," "Live and Let Die," "Diamonds are Forever," "Nobody Does it Better," "For Your Eyes Only." So many classics!
-
Actually I am surprised that they have never asked him back! I thought I heard years ago that he was considered again! but the thing is that the Bond producers lean more towards the 'hip' audience of today instead of nostalgia and real talent!!!

Better than You Know My Name by Cornell. God that was fucking hi
by the gospel according to bastardface
So far the Craig Bond's have the worst theme tunes. Piece Brosnan had a few good ones, Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough.
-
Imagine what a late 1960's Elvis Presley and John Barry could have brought to the franchise had they recorded something like 'We have all the time in the world'....just a thought mind you.
-
Got to download that.
-
What would the Winehouse song have been like? I've never actually heard anything she's done.
-
Could have done without Keys. But it's a really good Bond song.
-
Hated the new song; has its strengths, but the vocals ruin it for me. I think "You Know my Name" makes my top 2 picks in Bond themes because it is *that* badass. I'm sure the "Bond should be Austin Powers" blowhards will disagree, but whatever.
-
Not stating the artists "lack competence." They're both quite talented and skilled artists. It is my fervent opinion, however, that vocals on this track are awful for myriad reasons. The bottom line: the vocal track sounds like Keys and White were taking a first crack at it, and the producer decided to use the vocal first track draft.Musically, the instrumentals sound EXTREMELY produced--so much so that the tinny (and, yes, often discordant) vocals seem even more out of place in the song as a whole. Keys' and White's voices also do seem a bit off-key to my ear at times--perhaps intentionally so. At any rate, I know it's all my opinion. I intensely dislike Keys' and Whites' vocals on this song. And I fully expected to their vocals to kick serious ass... That's that.
-
http://www.thirdmanrecords.com/
Not pimping the site, but I find the better quality leaves a better impression. -
What's his connect to all this? The last few efforts have been way shitty, but then again, he did ape Barry perfectly with the end credits version of Tomorrow Never Dies. Too bad Cheryl Crow looks better than Rob Schneider lookalike kd lang.
-
It's in the middle of the Bond songs, IMO. Then again, I loved You Know My Name and everyone hated it for reasons I still can't figure out. Like everyone else says, it's the vocals that need the most work but the music is top notch.
-
By far a better theme...
Long live the Suantum of Quolace. -
I've given it another listen, and White is a damned good songwriter--this could've been quite good. Keys and White really don't sound good together, imo, and I'm not sure they ever would (even though some better vocal sound mixing would've helped). Weird.
-
Their voices sound the same. It's kinda disturbing...
-
... the end of October.
But I've already downloaded it and it's in my iTunes now. Play count = 61.
I kinda like it... -
Hopefully they'll chop it down and edit it for the movie.
-
Perhaps it leaves me with no credibility to say this, but I really loved Cornell's theme to Casino Royale. This, however, is an awful awful mess.
-
Fuck, I thought that was a joke. That song seriously sucks. It just is not a Bond theme in my mind - not even close. There's no sense of grandeur to it. It reminds me of being drunk.
They should have went with SOMETHING OF BORIS. That tune was catchy.
-
Others have said it, I'm going to have to agree. The theme song needs to be heard in context. I hated, and I mean REALLY hated the Chris Cornell song from the last movie until it was matched up with the opening credits. Having said that, I actually like this song quite a bit. It sounds raw, dirty, angry, and very confused...Which is what I hear Bond's disposition in QOS will be.
-
The Chris Cornell song grew on me so hopefully this will to... (or not!)
-
Still the best theme/parody ever...
-
It's really grown on me! I adore it. And it sounds like a Bond theme. This one sounds ..... dreadful.
-
The intro had me hooked, but as soon as the vocals came in I cringed. I'm not looking forward to having to sit through this song in theaters.
-
of Madonnas Die Another Day, the WORST bond title song EVER!
-
I need it.
-
Seriously, that is one of the worst choruses I've ever heard. With Alicia Keys being involved, though, this was doomed to fail.
-
The music is fantastic, but those vocals sound like they came out of someone's kitchen, not a recording studio. Yikes.
PS: Chris Cornell's song was FANTASTIC, both as a Bond theme and a standalone song. This makes that even MORE evident. -
Get someone to re-mix/arrange this song.
-
What the hell is wrong with you idiots? You Know My Name is great.
As for QoS in general, I really don't like that it seems Bond's motives are revenge, anger, and sadness. Wasn't the whole f***ing point of making Casino Royale boring and Craig's Bond a wimpy sap that at the end he turns into the badass, unaffected Bond we all know and love? He shouldn't give a rat's ass about the dead girl anymore, he's Bond. -
Agreed wholeheartedly about Cornell!
-
It starts, it halts, it lurches
around in all directions before
the not-so-hot vocals kick in...so it sounds like ten producers were twiddling the mixing board all at the same time.
I do agree about the Chris Cornell song...damn if it doesn't grow on you....but this thing, it's just an audio mess, a second
cousin to the god-awful Madonna
"Die Another Day".. -
Terrible song. Worst than that Madonna atrocity.
-
was damn awesome. the intro to casino royale was flawless... my opinion, of course. now *this* particular theme, however? eh... i'll have to hear/see the final version. as of right now, though, it's pretty horrid. it needs rehab probably more so than winehouse. *zing*
-
...and it's in regular rotation on my iPod. I won't pay to download this one. As someone else said, it's utterly forgettable. Even Duran Duran was more "Bond-esque" than this pile o'...
-
That song was awesome.
-
which is what I wish Alicia Keys was doing to me right now to make up for the shitty song... Cornell's You Know My Name was good but it wasnt much of a Bond song in my opinion.
as for Amy Whinehouse, she is the most overrated singer in the music industry today (well, after Akon...) and a vile disgusting subhuman piece of drugged up shit that only deserves to suffer a slow agoinizing painful death, which it looks like she's been doing for the past couple years actually. -
that theme song sucked. It sounded like an album reject.
-
I don't know Bond movies too well. But I thought THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH had one had a damn good theme song. The music video alone was better than the film itself:
http://tinyurl.com/2jjy67 -
she was the perfect choice
-
why cant they just get Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead to score this movie? There Will Be Blood and Body Song proves he's got what it takes as a composer.
-
Not to shout, but WHY HAVEN'T EON HIRED BJORK TO SING A BOND THEME? I mean, really. Listen to "Isobel" from Post and tell me if she doesn't have what it takes to record a killer Bond theme. It would be her biggest US hit ever. But this song is awful--it makes Madonna's theme sound like genius. At least that had some semblance of melody.
-
http://www.thirdmanrecords.com/
Thanks auddym. Made a huge difference in my enjoyment of the song. My only complaints are the meandering beginning and the still-sloppy vocals in the middle section. -
It would have been fun to have American Idol's Lakisha Jones sing a dimaonds are forever style song instead of whatever that noise was. Even Tom Jones would have been a better choice. What where they thinking and who wrote this horrid song?
-
But what do I know? I kinda even liked Madonna's... Not sure about this one, though.
-
I listened to the whole song. Loud, obnoxious yelling... Tone it down! There was even a little part that sounded like a Pink Panther theme.
-
I like the way the intro just keeps going for a bit - very 70s. I don't mind the instrumentation, the production, the style, even the vocals. On their own they're quite clever. But together... I still haven't decided. Need another drink.
-
people can and do excuse all kinds of awful shit in this world with that kind of lazy thinking
-
Sounds a lot like the tracks on Icky Thump to me.
-
Why not just the White Stripes or just Alicia Keys ala Shirley Bassey? WTF with tryin' to be relevant with the kids these days? Its fuckin' BOND, not XXX.
-
But Cornell is a washed up rock god. Cornell circa "Louder Than Love" and "Badmotorfinger", now THAT was a rock god... and Jack White is a frickin' genius. His only problem is that he knows that entirely too well. He seems a bit arrogant about it. Then there's his strange little freaky baby teeth. You see that Rolling Stone cover with Mick and Keif? No wonder you never see him smile.
-
Johnny Greenwood is amazing. Good suggestion.
-
its awful. and I like both white and keys a lot. Funny thing is I do not like chris cornell at all but thought his song was unfairly maligned. I love you know my name.
-
he would do a great one.
-
wow that is just fucking horrible. And I'm a Bond junkie and apologist, I even kinda liked the Madona theme. Cornells was awesome, dont know why it gets all the hate. You know my name and the world is not enough have been the best of the newer Bond themes hands down. This is just ...bad. Who knows, with luck we can hope for something better by November. That just sucks.
-
sounds all over the place like they were piecing together from many other songs being unsure if any original melody. ghastly
-
yes it was.
-
It's not as good as Goldfinger. But then people don't remember that nothing's as good as Goldfinger.
-
Sure it's different but I wonder what AICN 1973 would have been like if Live and Let Die had leaked onto the internet'It's not Barry, it mixes too many styles - too many odd beats - bring back Bassey or Jones' :o)
-
That was an utter mess. It was like listening to two bad songs playing at the same time.
-
McCartney was paradigm-busting, but amazing. This is just reaffirming a shitty track record of bad songs with bad artists. Plus Wings charted that song, this won't do any business other than diehard fans of the artists. And I'd say bring back Barry now, except he's living it up in some Brtish Boca retirement style.
-
No, I was just musing what the reaction would have been - not comparing the songs. Though as I say this has grown on me - I'm beginning to quite like it and I'd rather they went different directions that aping Barry to be honest - Goldeneye, which a lot of people love, is one of my least favourite Bond songs because it is too close but without the Barry authenticity it's almost as much of a parody as Weird Al's Spy Hard. I'm not a fan of Arnold either - but there you go - no Bond score has been a must have item for me since Living Daylights unfortunately
-
Dictates that I 'must' have them so that I have the full collection!Sigh!
-
But couldn't recreate that 60's Bond sound well enough that they hired Michael Giachinno?
-
Are they having a laff??!!
-
she was just there to pull in more buyers. Giaccino neeeeeeeeeds to do a bond score, and help out on a theme. i love david arnold, but he needs to give michael a chance.
-

Terrible...bring back John Barry.

Sep 19, 2008 4:20:43 AM CDT
and us film score nerds come out of the woodwork
by grandadmiralsnackbar
Living Daylights is pretty bad ass, but it ain't Moonraker. I just hope and pray that the hipsters never discover Barry or Goldsmith. Thankfully Williams is too popular for them....for now.
With regard to someone who should write a Bond score, Giacchino would be slick. But, I still want to hear what direction he takes for Star Trek. -
I had a bunch of mates who wrote the ultimate Bond theme called something like "Diamonds Never Live or Let Die With Love On Her Majesty's Goldfinger Again Twice".
This does resemble that a bit but I think it's a grower.
Look I just think Jack White is ace OK and have trouble admitting anything he does is not up to scratch.
It's a problem I have to deal with. I'm seeking help.
-
I think it was because Barry was retired. There are parts of the Incredibles where it's close and damn good. However, Giacchino isn't barry and that score ain't no OHMSS or Diamonds Are Forever.
-
and not fit to be a coaster that Chris Cornell and David Arnold put their coffee cups on whilst recording the excellent BOND theme 'You Know My Name'! Almost gave Mad Donna a run for her money...
-
The problem is that these new versions of Bond themes try too hard to shoehorn tha artists' own styles into a 'Bond' style.
There just aren't the types of singers out there that can pull off that big band theme song and not make it sound like a parody - this is why the kd lang song 'Surrender' is one of the only decent Bond themes in about 20 years and that got stuck on the arse-end of the film.
Say what you want about Madonna but at least she had the balls to do a Madonna song and not give a fuck about trying to sound like a Bond theme. Of course, everyone hated that song!
This White/Keys one is piss-poor though. Come on folks, you've still got time to use the Adam Buxton theme -
but amy winehouse might have been more 'bond'.
-
Bjork is the reason that David Arnold got the Bond gig in the first place, as far as I remember.
She did a song called 'Play Dead' with David Arnold, which was the theme song to this shitty Brit film Young Americans, starring Harvey Keitel.
At the time, everyone said the film was shite but that the theme was awesome, sounds like a Bond.
So next time a Bond comes along, there's david Arnold trying his hardest to recreate that same Bond sond and , in my opinion, failing. -
Bjork would be brilliant. However I think she's way off centre doing her own thing these days to go back to the more traditional song structure needed for a Bond theme. We can still hope though.
-
then try and tell me it wasn't written as a Bond theme.
-
were off. I thought they'd recorded them in a bathroom. Better production and I maybe convinced
-
Bravo, bravo!
-
What the holy frack were they thinking?!?
-

Either make it an instrumental or swap vocals with Amy Winehouse
by spyguy
Then again, I hated "You Know My Name" until I heard it with the opening credits for CASINO ROYALE in the theater. Here's hoping some tweaking is done before the final film is released.
-
Even good musicians haven't really done anything interesting with them. This is no exception. Of course, I would put it ahead of most Bond themes. Personally I think they should have done away with the entire trope.
-
This song was rejected as a remake for a Bond Theme for The Living Daylights,,, there must be a lot of rejected Bond music out there.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn0FYz5ius0
-
I still don't get the hate for that, I think it's an amazing song I've been listening to it solidly for the past two years, both the rock single version and the more orchestral film version. I didn't really notice it until I saw how well it fitted with the credits, then I was sold. This might do the same but, for the moment, I agree with most - it's great great instrumentals for the most part (I love the way they've carried over the opening hook of You Know My Name) but the vocals ditsract from it and don't sound strong enough for a Bong theme. I also agree it lacks grandeur.
-
You Know My Name
-
...was The World is Not Enough by Garbage.

People who like Chris Cornell are the same people who get those barbed wire tattoos on their arms and grow penis tickl... err, soul patches. They also talk about the latest episode of Miami Ink.

"hopefully they'll chop it down and edit it for the movie"
by bluebottle
you've never actually watched the opening credits for a james bond movie, have you?
incidentally, i think it kicks ass... but whatever. -
It's the only way to describe this track.
If I were involved with 007 I'd be ashamed of this pish. -
Give some prog rockers a chance for once, jeesh.
-
io hate the new bond, best bond was Pierce Brosnan; he had class, gentleman's charm, sophisticated attitude, and looked cool. plus brosnan played well in storylines where he was betrayed ala goldeneye.
heres the best bond themes ever:
1. Goldeneye
2. A View To a Kill
3. Diamonds Are Forever
4. The World is not Enough
5. Live And Let Die
---'you know my name' wasnt bad but it wouldve been nice if it was actually a good ROCK song, because it wasnt. i wish quatum had a rock song that really rocked.
this sond has a good melody bad vocals that are all over the place; which im guessing is some lame emotional expression theme to bond, he voice is tampered with so its not smooth, and im not sure what it is sounds like drunk bar chicks trying to sing along. -
I thought the song sucked from the first link from The Boom Box, but hearing the mix from thirdmanrecords, it has totally gained on me. The boom box one sounds like it was a test track. This one sounds more in sync and more properly mixed.
-
None of those apply to me and I still thought You Know My Name rocked.
-
Ha, sorry, I should make the distinction. YKMN wasn't a half-bad tune, I agree. It grows on a guy, and it has the Bond theme as its base, so it appeals on that level. I might've toned down the electric guitar a tad, but what the hell you gonna do?
And Diox, I, too, miss Brosnan. That was one sophisticated man, a guy who would drive his sub-boat underwater and rearrange his tie. With Craig, they're taking the "blunt instrument" angle a bit too far, if you ask me. He looks like an old boot. -
Maybe they should have propped up that racist, vodka-filled, drug consuming, skank whore. She couldn't have been any worse, right?
-
that song was "hard out there for a pimp" bad.
horrible. -
I was hoping that these two would try to come up with something smooth and classic, like a '60s Barry/Bassey style theme with a modern edge. This thing makes me want to fucking puke.
-
Keys and White particularly sound like shit when singing the chorus together. Didn't these two bother rehearsing the vocals before cutting the song? Even for a contemporary Bond theme, this one--thanks to the agonizingly bad vocal track--is simply embarrassing. My opinion--but I'm obviously far from the only listener who thinks so.
-
I loved the Cornell theme, too. But I'm a fan of both Cornell and Jack White. This is cool because it's so "out there," and I have a feeling it will fit right in with the vibe of the film. Love the ending of the song.
-
I like the general feel of the theme and I think it'll make more sense when sandwiched by several quantums of solace.
-
It was all over the place. Keep the music; drop the vocals. Made me appreciate You Know My Name a lot better.
-
as much as the Cornell song? Cuz that thing sucked a big ol' bag of dicks.
-
I quite like Mr White but I have to say that, as a song it is simply below par but as a Bond theme tune it is a titanic disappointment.
-
The producers should be shot for having him do the theme. Just fucking atrocious.
-
You guys hated this and liked Day Another Day? Talk about hypocrisy. Nothing wrong with the duet, it's what the song calls for. It sounds like a bad Portishead song with horns and strings - as I've said YESTERDAY - but it still sounds fine as a Bond song. It's not Live and Let Die, but it's fine by my.
-
Just wait and see how it looks with the opening credits... I didn't like You Know My Name at first, but it was PERFECT for the introduction of Casino Royale. I have since grown to like the song tremendously. This one will grow on a lot of you, I suspect.
-
oops
-
I love Alice Cooper and Pulp but there is no way on God's green Earth that either of those tracks deserved to be Bond themes.
Alice sounds like he's half asleep and Jarvis sounds like he's on something.
What was chosen was far better.
Regard Jack and Alicia's effort, I love the "phat", gritty sound - looks like it'll match the tone of the film.
Not sure about the vocals but I'll reserve judgement FWIW when I see it on the big screen with the opening titles.
Oh and Barbara ... give Adam and Joe a cameo in the next film. Both their tunes are funny as shit.
http://is.gd/1owR
http://is.gd/2R5k -
The bile rises just thinking about that awful song.
-
"... with the slick trigger finger for Her Majesty." Who wrote that line? Some American who's only just now heard about Bond?
-
Terrible, TERRIBLE SONG.
-
let's hope this is just the "radio version" of the song. This might just tie the madona disaster.
BTW: "You know my name" ROCKED! -
Wow, that song is terrible! This song has no idea what it wants to be. It's like 3 different writers with 3 different ideas just threw everything together into one gigantic mess. Completely forgettable and sure to ruin the opening credit sequence.
-
But then I didn't like either of the last two until I'd seen the film, at which point I suddenly really liked them. Hopefully the same will happen with this one.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMoJRLStD9c
-
oh well whatever never mind - I'm sure it was better than that Chris Cornell Crap!
-
With a lush string sound bed / And a bass guitar track / With Shirley Bassey's voice / And young Jane Seymour's Rack
-
Welcome to several months ago. The Suantum of Quolace song has been an "inside" joke around AICN for the past several months. For instance, look through this talkback and note how many times "Something of Boris" was mentioned.
-
This is probably the worst song of this year. I pray that the film will be alot better. Because if this is any indication of what the film will be like, then were fucked!
If there is a god, then I thank him for not letting Christopher Nolan selling out like this with "TDK." -
yeah but it bears repeating, especially with that video, to outline just how stupid the craig bonds are!
-
Awful song. Can't figure out which of the two has LESS talent. Though Keyes has a higher opinion of herself, I'm sure. Will this be on her next album: "Me, Myself, and I am Alicia Keyes"
-
...Jack White looks like a zombie. Seriously Jack, lay off the coke.
Anyway, I think its a fine song. I dunno if its a BOND song, as its not nearly cheesy and dated enough, but its good on its own merits.
*looks at everyone else's reactions* Oh, sorry, were we not ready to move past the 70's yet? -
...think the theme song would be classic like someone said because the title itself seems retro/nostalgic, so i expected that, that or some sci-fi synthesizers with cool laser sounds (pew pew shshsh)but it was nether and ended up being drunk hip hop which wouldve worked great if the movie was called "Revenge's a Bitch"
-
Seriously, it would be amazing.
-
That bitch is talented, a fucking crack head, but talented. I'm kind of digging the other british chicks right now. Duffy isn't half bad and good looking. What ever happened to The Sundays, that chick could fucking sing. I miss the 90's sometimes.
-
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!
This whole song is a MESS of sound. This comment comes from someone with 2 degrees (BM and MM), and almost 30 years in music...
God, I hope they give the next song on the list a shot. I expected so much better from Alicia...
This thing makes my ears and head hurt. AWFUL!!! Even worse than the Madonna song for Die Another Day.
