schedule grids and midseason shows (including Reaper)

Herc's list is helpful for the dates, but if you want it in a visual format (with a list of midseason shows at the bottom), try http://www.tvpicks.net/grids/fall-2008/

    reaper is fucked if mid-season

    by lex romero

there wasn't a massive fanbase at the time and leaving such a big gap between the short first season and a second won't help at all. Most people who were casual fans will have forgotten about it by then. Don't expect a third season.

I can imagine it'll be preachy. A show based on Cronenberg's "Crash" could be fantastic though on AMC or Showtime.

Every time I see the ad for it on the side of a bus, I think of Alan Patridge yelling the title name while running away from his No.1 fan that has his face tattooed across his chest. Classic scene though.

Thought The Office was sooner than that. Fuck.

    by larry sellers

Anyone else think the 4th season felt more sitcomy than it should've? Especially that finale...a pregnancy, a near-engagement, an unlikely engagement, and two characters are caught having sex. They squeezed in every season finale cliffhanger ever used into that one. I understand the need to keep those stories moving. The Pam/Jim thing would've turned a lot of people off if they weren't together by then end of the 3rd season. But it's like all of those relationships are weighing the show down. Keeping the show from being cute and contained and able to turn on a dime into a drama when you least expect it. I really, really hope it picks up and gets back to the state it was in during the 2nd/3rd seasons.
