Does the "Poltergeist curse" extend to the very franchise itself? “Boogeyman” writers Stiles White and Juliet Snowden are ramping up a needless remake of the Steven Spielberg/Tobe Hooper thriller “Poltergeist,” maybe the coolest ghost movie ever forged. The duo also has a remake of Hitchcock’s “The Birds” in the works at Universal.
