The TROPIC THUNDER Chicago screening List of Winners is right here!!
Hey all. Capone in Chicago here. I had a little more time on my hands tonight than I thought I would, so I blazed through more than 200 entries filled with very strong and convincing arguments as to why these people should be allowed to see TROPIC THUNDER in the Windy City a few days before opening.
All of the winners will receive an email from me in the next 12 hours reminding you of the screening details. All of the winners may bring ONE GUEST!! And in the name of all that is holy, bring a guest. It's not safe to watch this movie alone. Even if you entered the contest as a single, find someone to bring, you miserable loner.
We'll see you all at the AMC River East 21 Theater on Monday, August 11 at 8pm. If you get a confirmation email from me, but do not see your name on this list, let me know ASAP. If you see your name on this list, but did not get an email, don't worry. The list is what gets you in.
If you do not see your name on the list, you may try your luck in our stand-by line, which will let in about 10 minutes before the start of the movie. The two times this summer we've had stand-by lines, every person has gotten in, so the odds are pretty good. But I'm guessing the competition will be fierce.

Woohoo! What a great summer thanks to AICN and Capone: Wall-e, Hellboy, Hamlet, Pineapple Express and now I get to go to Tropic Thunder too! I'm soooo geeking out right now... not gonna lie.

I'm one of those crazy bastards who liked Daredevil and has the DVD. IMO, it's better than nothing but I'd sure as hell like to see another (presumably better) Daredevil movie.
