Capone Has the Winners' Names for the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS Chicago Screening!!
Hey everyone. Capone here. If you are one of those people who entered the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS contest in Chicago, listen up. Below is a list of winners and their guests. Most of you should have received a confirmation email from me by now reminding you of all the screening details. If you DID NOT receive an email, don't worry--as long as your name is on this list, you're golden. (For a small handful of you, the emails weren't going through; don't panic.) If you DID receive an email from me, but don't see your name below, let me know ASAP, and I'll make certain you get on the list.
A lot of people have already started to ask about a stand-by line, and I think for this film, we're going to have one. So if you didn't win, you still have a shot of getting in. No promises, but if you arrive early, we'll see if we can squeeze you in after all of the ticketed winners have made their way into the theater.

Not on par with Superbad or Knocked Up or Virgin (but what is?), but very funny. The three leads (Rogen, Franco and Danny McBride) are great characters with a lot of funny dialogue...gay black hitman is awesome too. Action bits are hit and miss and the end turns into a long unchoreographed gunfight. But definitely worth seeing.And the after-party had bongs on the tables. Nice.

I entered before Capone posted a message saying it wasn't full yet and I didn't get in. Still, I got to see 4 AICN sponsored movies so far this summer so I can't really complain. Hope everyone has fun.

I sent in my email for the L.A. screening about 5 minutes after the post originally went up for the contest (just happened to be lucky enough to log on late that night)... now it's Saturday evening and STILL no emails from Mori or a post with the winners' names. He'd posted before that he'd probably have the winners' emails out Thursday night, and we're now 48 hours past that. I'm really excited for this screening, but it's getting down to the wire and I do have a life... and it would be nice to know if I should be scheduling other things for Monday night or if I'm going to have seats for this screening.

I have to figure out if i need to get off work early to get there or not. Either way i am going to sit in traffic going North, or going south. I hate LA for that alone. Pull through for us Mori! You guys at AICN always do!
