Mary Elizabeth Winstead can MAKE IT HAPPEN
Hey folks, Harry here... Looks like we have the next contestant for inspirational dance story flick of the year. I'm a fan of these films - although - I'd love one about a girl trying to get a part as a featured performer in a Busby Berkeley's shows. But alas - I suppose a film about tap or classical dancing... something like an Eleanor Powell story is outside the realm of dreaming. These films are a new sure thing commodity - made on the cheap about a certain modern style of dance. That's fine and the trailer looks fine. All that said - Isn't Mary Elizabeth Winstead a sweetie? I'll go just to watch her busta move.

I mean, come on. I know a lot of people on here probably haven't read the books. So they're going to be shocked when this makes like $50 million it's opening weekend. -
people will be lining the streets in two weeks for the fourth Twilight book and in September, they'll be flooding the theaters for the movie. AICN is missing the boat bigtime by not covering this.

is a series of books about a high school girl who moves to Washington state and falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen - who can't really touch her because if he does, he'll want to kill her. The vampire is made up to be the most perfect man imaginable, outside of the fact that ever few weeks he has to go out "hunting" or else he'll want to eat people. The conflict in the first book (which is what the movie will be about) is when a pack of other people-eating vampires, find the girl with Cullen and his "family" (other non-people-eating vampires) and set out to kill her.
This book is basically the most popular thing since Harry Potter. It's aimed at 14, 15 year old girls because it's a romance love story, but it has a lot of action in it.
Oh, and there's werewolf American Indians in it too, but that's sort-of a spoiler, so forget I mentioned that. -
and the reason you should care is because you're going to be wondering why this movie you've never heard of is going to make $30-40 million its opening weekend. It's got a RABID fanbase. The books have been best-sellers and my fiancee is absolutely obsessed with them.

and I love the freakin' books. I was shocked that I did. A good story is a good story, regardless of who its intended audience might be. BTW, Harry Potter is very gay, never got into that series. Pretty much hate the movies.

If by Gay you mean - happy & carefree fun, ok. If you mean interest in Burlesque denotes homosexual behavior - you're dead wrong. Watching hot women in hardly any clothes rhythmically moving about in a tantalizing manner is the very corner stone of heterosexual joy.

This movie is part Coyote Ugly and Save the Last Dance. Which goes to show that Hollywood has no originality. Except how many times to bend Mary Elizabeth Winstead into a pretzel.
