    So it's Mr. Echo?

    by larry of arabia

Company Man sort of sucked the life out of what could have been very nice little scene. What kind of direction did he get, "Speak in a nasal monotone and never move your arms?" Mr. Echo has potential as a character.

I feel like everyone that went to film school anywhere saw that shit and was like, "oh fuck me, come on...now the low angle shot? oh come on...and now the poorly edited shot of the main character's exposition? oh fuck off....god fucking dammit this makes my fuckin spleen hurt to watch this shit!"

is season 3 the make or break season for the show??

    by boomers_lips

after the pathetic & horrible season 2, the writers/producers had plenty of time during the strike & beyond to create some fantastic hours of television. if season 3 is just as bad as season 2, i think the show will be cancelled.

    by mr. zeddemore

What? Course it won't be cancelled. The show has dropped in ratings, but it's still getting good ratings in comparisons with other shows. The only thing the network gives a shit about is ratings, they didn't take the backlash on quality seriously for a second, likely factoring in how pissy fanboys got re: Lost S2, but suddenly loved S3.

Season 2 was make or break. And it broke.

After the unholy abortion that was the season 1 finale, they needed a strong Season 2. They didn't deliver.

    Jesus that was awful.

    by mezzanine

Sure, the idea of the sonic-screaming postman is kind of cool, but the last thing this show needs is more characters. And jesus, who cares if they kill off half the other characters on the show to make room for this guy? It is still a terrible fucking way to introduce someone.

Just watching that got my anti HEROES fire all stoked and hot again. After the incredible shit that they labeled season 2, I am surprised that people still watch this show. Including myself. BUT if season 3 doesn't grab me by the balls right off the bat, this show is off the season pass.

    by napoleon park

Is it available at any of the free online font sites? Hey, at least it isn't "comic sans".So this guy didn't watch the Superman/Captain Marvel fight and take notes? If you're fighting a sonic screamer (or someone with a magic word) PUT HOUR HAND OVER HIS MOUTH. Ooh, a new hero who can be defeated by a dominatrix with a padlockable ball gag. Disable his superpower and - ooh, he has the strength of a full sized human, just like Ant-Man.If The Constrictor had a domino mask, roll-cuff gloves and hightop sneakers to go with his black combat pants and tank top he'd look just like Black Bird's sidekick Sparrow. Good Lord -- was that shot on video (albeit an expensive, high-def camcorder, but STILL). Maybe NBC should run a competition and pay the public to submit fan films set in the Heroes-verse.

    by prof. pop-cult

All of the spoiler tidbits that have been coming out, and this Webisode, do not instill much faith in me for the upcoming season. So far, I've gleaned/guessed: The world could literally blow up, unless the Heroes prevent this. Alternative future cynical Peter is back, along with an alt-future version of Claire. A new girl character runs fast. Linderman is back somehow -- my guess is that he's a ghost who appears to Nathan, who survives being shot and then has the ability to see the dead. Kristen Bell returns -- for only five episodes, probably to be killed off at the end. Jessica survives getting blown up, but gets another personality. Wow. I find all of these things not particularly interesting to look forward to next season.
