See The Surprisingly Alright MAX PAYNE Trailer Before It Gets Pulled Down!! Moments Evoke Vintage Woo!!
Merrick here...
There's a lot of nice imagery here. Will director John Moore make-up for his OMEN redux? Will Wahlberg atone for THE HAPPENING?
Seeing this has made me half-way interested in this project for the first time.

-
seen it
-
How good can the movie really be?
-
If they stay true to the story of the game, and it plays as good as it looks...this might be one of the best videogame adaptations yet. Lots of cool imagery in there.
-
Needs more Mila Kunis, tho.
-
And first. And i was just going to let you all know that it was up. Thats funny. I don't know what the link above is, but here is one i found. http://www.gaminator.pl/video/2518,Max-Payne-Trailer-Filmu.html
-
Haven't been liking wahlberg recently, but that does look great.
-
lets hope the movie delivers.
-
I only played a little bit of the game. I like all the action sequences. but the weird big crows that kept appering didn't make sense.. kinda cheesy
-
Watching the trailer actually felt a bit like playing the game...which is good.
-
But ambitious which is more than most video game adaptations can claim. I would not be too surprised to see it either suck or be bad ass. Based on the trailer, though, I'm leaning "suck".
-
That would be funny, though.
-
Because the characters wont be three dimensional. And thats the fact of why this film will 'most probably' suck...(Unless Nolan developed the script and directed it)
-
that sucked
-
Damn You Michael Bay
-
...for one of the best movies of 2006
-
if you sucked a dick then you might just be as cool as tis trailer..
-
which game movies tend to do (see: doom, hitman, etc).
might actually see this if the buzz is good. -
i just fandango'd 10 tickets motherfuckahs.
no, not really. -
Damn you to hell!

Looks like a John Moore trailer: full of nice money shots
by spencertrilby
The only question with Moore (except for the name of the next classic he'll remake) is: will his somewhat cool but highly derivative visuals seem lost in a maelstrom of shit, like ALL his previous films? Since it's a Fox movie, I won't pay to know anyway, but I wish the fans of the game won't be screwed again (Hitman, anyone?)
-
why the fuck do people consider him such a bad ass??
-
They better have that, m'Lady.
-
I'm always looking for newly verbed words.
-
Yet no one can seem to get Metroid or Zelda off the ground.
-
Ja Rule
-
"I want everybody in New York to give Marky Mark the fuckin' finger!" Seriously though, this looks like it might be, dare I say, ok.
-
I'm not a fan of game adapts, but I'll give props where props are due. Max Payne was a damn good game, and this looks cool. Reminds me of the look of the Crow. I smell franchise?
-
But Mona Sax looked
-
That game drove me nuts.
-
Not in ANY of my five towns...
-
Yet.
-
i mean itll prob suck, but good trailer.
-
Did Alex Proyas change his name to John Moore? Either that or the guy who cut the music for the trailer must be a big fan of The Crow.
-
You turn a bad game into a good movie? Hopefully, this looks a lot better then Hitman did. I was already to poo poo all over this but for now it looks pretty good.
-
It looks like the Crow meets Constitine in Sin City.
-
Everyone go IMDB John Moore, doesn't he look like Harry's Twin? Or brother.
-
Looks like they got the tone of the game down well. Which is definitely a good thing. PG-13 worries the hell out of me, and I hope they don't play up the bullet time/shoot dodge stuff too much. Here's hopin'
-
Could it be that we will get our first good video game adaptation?
-
I hadn't expected much of this but now I'm interested.
-
AKA the Wire's Marlo.
-
Now that I know this has went into "fuck that" territory. I am sick of studios, mainly Fox, deciding that an R rated source should be a PG-13 rated movie.
-

At least Mark did the voice changing thing, haha. It looks alrig
by mike_d
I'll see it.
-
Jul 10, 2008 10:30:53 AM CDT
looks like there's at least one really good action scene
by theneonsamurai
of course i thought the same thing when i saw the underworld trailer
-
looks pretty good
Mona Sax (for the brief second we see her) looks fantasic.
oh and its not ja rule it was ludacris. -
..though it looks nothing like the game BUT let's see, let's see what they can do with it. I think I'll see it in theaters, why not.. also, I'd like to play the game again, heh
-
that looked... interesting. This is based off of a video game, no? Cool music. What up with the flying dudes?
-
That IS some nice imagery..
-
First pics of pixars Mario Brothers movie?
-
I love it. Could someone please tell me the name of that song and who does it?
-
The clip of Jaime Hector using a Jamaican accent caught my eye, too. Good to see The Wire actors getting more work. I thought Hector was outstanding on The Wire.
-
I'm not sure if it makes me more keen or less to see the film. Wahlberg's attempts to match the Max Payne voice overs don't quite work. I think he needs to smoke a few thousand more cigarettes for that. I'll still probably check it out. I don't know what that winged thing pulling a guy out the window was about though, that's not in the games. Perhaps it's a drug induced dream (Valkyr?)
-
Well, I dont hate him but he has no star quality about him. He is boring as fuck. As a character actor like in Departed, he is ok and can be funny. Otherwise, I dont know what the fuck others see in him as a lead actor. Max Payne needs to be played by someone with more gruff, grit and limited range of acting skills because this is a fucking video game adaption so we want a fun movie. Sin City was a similar setting and done well with Rouke and Willis showing how its done (even Clive Owen who I normally cant stand). Fuck, I wish Bronson was alive and 45 years old....
-
That was the game in a nutshell. How you make that PG-13 I don't know. Bourne trilogy is the only action packed trilogy gave you thrills upon thrills while staying PG 13. (Casino Royale as well but thats a Bourne retread. Dark Knight poised to do so as well) Do you think Max Payne(who I love) can get as dark as the source material(Valkyrie drug induced hallucinations and subway bloodbath shoot outs) while holding up PG 13? God I hope they reconsider or at least release a uncut dvd. HOLLYWOOD STOP BEING AFRAID OF R movies. DID 300 TEACH YOU NOTHING!?!
-
Hmmm . . . . hard to tell from a trailer, but that appears to bear no resemblance to the source material whatsoever. Shame, because the game was a hard-boild OTT revenge shooter which could have translated smoothly to the big screen.
If it's not Max Payne, why bother calling it Max Payne? -
at Little-Larry's comment
-
cool sounding bits.. what is it? where is it from..?
-
Big time fan of the games and am glad that it seems to do Max Payne justice.
-
It was off last years CD, Eat ME Drink Me.
The song is "If I was your Vampire". -
is Max to be all 'MONA!!!!' and do some bullet time dives and I'm sold.
Mona's in the trailer, along with some bullet time dives, so I'm in. It was a cheesy as hell game, and it was absolutely awesome. Although the mods made it even better... wonder if you can mod the movie to make it into The Matrix or Star Wars... or The Crow, always loved that mod. -
but it's still only as good as Marky Mark
-
One gun ain't enough to deliver the "Payne" Also, it better be rated R.
-
... is from the games. Or at least a re-altered version.
-
so an R rated gunfest can pull in an audience and the money. And I think Timur raised the bar on action visuals, which will be hard to beat. We've seen the slo-mo squib filled gun battle to death. Mr. Moore will have to have a kick ass script to make it compelling.
-
Definitely maybe.
-
I'll go see it.
-
...I think some visions/hallucinations that people get when using the valkyrie drug (first game!!!). In the game they said its like "the flesh of fallen ANGELS".
-
Hope it lives up to the moodiness of that trailer. Looks kinda like the crow but with a meat head irish bastard instead of a half asian goth.
-
and I feel like that trailer fucking NAILED the tone of them. I went from skeptical of this project to pretty damn excited.
-
Jamie Hectors in the house! Lets get Wood Harris a role now.
-
Fox sucks dick. They seem like the studio that pushes this the most. God do I hate them. This trailer did look good but if in theaters its rated pg-13 I'll wait for the "unrated" dvd thanks.
-
But will it tell an interesting story and not just action scenes and great atmosphere? That'll be the next test. I hope they really make this a movie and not just a game come to life.
-
The music goes well with the trailer, but doesn't have the pay off of Manson screaming "If I was your vampire!" Need to listen to the whole album now.
-
If any game was a no brainer to be made into an action movie it's Max Payne. It is the Sin City of video games. Yeah, I know, but games are a lot younger than comics.
-
Interesting push there. Haven't heard one of his tracks on a trailer for quite some time.
Movie itself - we'll see... -
I remember that one of the main criticisms of both, Max Payne 1 & 2, was that the games were too short and were basically interactive movies. So it makes sense that they made a movie out of them. I also hope the movie has a non-linear storytelling. The other complaint some game reviewers had was the over-the-top noirish voice-over, which I thought were very funny.
-
Remember that this was the first videogame to feature "bullet time" after the Matrix came out. So it only makes sense that slo-mo will be a big part of the visual vocabulary of this flick
-
A Constantine reboot...no...wait..what the fuck was that shit?
-
Where the FUCK is my Duke Nukem movie? Fuck Max Payne.
-
this might not be a complete train wreck. first good videogame movie??
-
and a giant Harpie thing!?
WTF? -
Robocop - one of my fave lines from that film. Never known why.
Going by the trailer for this; count me in as interested. -
It's fucking disturbing.
-
See, I glanced and read that as Vintage Wood! Now a flick that evoked vintage Ed Wood would be cool news indeed.
-
WTF That is some of the worst casting ever. Bravura was like the deputy Chief, he should be in his 50s. If they wanted to make him black, why couldn't they get somebody like Charles Dutton? I hope IMDB is just wrong on this.
-
Is this a similar story to The Spirit?
-

Looks like the Punisher movie we all wanted in the first place
by drewlicious
Never played the game but I'm assuming the idea is the same. Guy avenges the death of his family, brings unholy destruction to all those in his path. Am I getting warmer?
-
I can't believe how much it looks like the game! SWEET!
-
Holy shit! I enjoyed the first game a lot! But all Ive heard about the movie couldn't get me interested in it and I thought they'd change it too much and fuck it all up... but this trailer has changed my mind completely! That looks awesome! I think all the weird angelic shit is probably due to the Valhalla drugs or something... Anyway this movie has shot way the fuck up on my list of things to keep an eye on. I hope it delivers all that and more! Sure it looks like a mix of Matrix/Sin City/Constantine, but you say that like it's a bad thing... Now give me that trailer in glorious quicktime HD!
-
Shoot Em' Up Shoot Em' Up Shoot Em' Up
It was a perfectly fine movie, some people don't "get it" and that's ok, you didn't like it: It doesn't make it crap, learn to apreciate art, asshole.
The trailer looks great, nails the visual style of the game, loved all the debris flying around.
It's a shame people always bring up The Matrix when they talk about Max Payne but nobody ever mentions Bound... that film was all over the game. -
that was pretty sweet music. if the movie is any good it might turn out to be memorable
-
But you liked 3 hours of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
-
and the other half look questionable, particularly Whalberg doing a ballet with his gun in the office... but I'll keep my eye on it, I'm slightly intrigued now.
-
Looks like they're going for the film noir meets John Woo imagery. Could be successful, could be shit. We'll have to wait and see.
-
Although that doesn't say much.
-
The trailer does look surprisingly non-sucky...much as I loved the Max Payne games (especially the sequel), I wasn't thrilled with the casting of Wahlberg as Max or Mila Kunis as Mona--much better would've been James McCafferey (who actually voiced Max in the game and looks the grizzled veteran part) and Angelina Jolie (she could've nailed Mona Sax with no effort at all). But, again, what is shown here looks promising. Go for the "R" rating, throw in a sequence that takes place in an abandoned amusement park based entirely on a Twin Peaks knockoff, and I'm THERE.
-
Those "angels" are either drug-induced hallucinations or post-modern cinematic impressionism; ie it's visual translation of a feeling or action, not a representation of reality.
You know, kind of like Snatch, when Brad Pitt is punched to the mat and is shown to be drowning underwater. There was no swimming pool in that boxing ring. Its meant to be a visual analogue.
Duh. -
I don't remember any demons or archangels in the video game. Hmm...
-
Or is Angelina Jolie about as sexy as Jon Voight? Am I losing my mind here? She just doesn't do it for me at all.
-
I don't remember any cinematic impressionist visual analogies of demons or archangels in the video games.
-
Anyone remember that line and where it's from?
-
Was way better than Max Payne's gonna be, that's for damn sure.
-
Have they even played the game?
-
It looks and feels a lot like the game, I didn't think they could capture the game's feel without looking like a Direct to Video movie, but they did a pretty awesome job here.
The bloodsplatters and bathroom stall blastings give me hope, but PG-13? What the fuck? It better have an Unrated DVD, I might just wait until then to see it so I don't see it's pussied down version. -
i see they used fighting style physics from the game too, i wonder if they are gonna do the slow motion thing.
-
That's right drink it in
-
But touchin' gonna cost ya.
-
although this really does look and feel like Max Payne - which is good.
Also, it felt a lot like The Crow, but in a good way. -
love love love the 2 games and hoping for a 3rd with sam lake writing. i hope they don't ruin this for me. ghost rider forcibly raped my teenage comic years hard.
-
that is just the drug hallucinations i'm guessing. if you look on imdb the shirtless dude drinking the drug is JACK LUPINO! "i'm the wolf yeah!!! i don't need the words! i"m beyond the words!!"
and mila in the elevator is straight from the damn game! sweet! -
Buck the trend that all movies based on videogames are generally arse. Looks prety damned good from the trailer. But, I have to add that I have always thought Christian Slater would make a great Max Payne
-
I thought that kinda looked alright. Obviously i'm cautious about full on endorsing it but alot of the elements seem in place. Hallucinations, Flashbacks, Hot Babe, Jack Lupino, Gun Acrobatics...I wanna go play the game now...
"You can't just kill me in cold blood!""You just keep telling yourself that" -
It takes a special kind of fuckwit to completely balls up a movie based on source material as good as the punisher. I am a huge fan and been reading the books since '85 so imagine my dismay when confronted by that abortion. None of which was Thomas Jane's fault. God help the sequel
-
seriously want to see that!
-
not a fan of marky but it looks good
-
vomit...
-
The fun of the game was the over the top cheesy hardboiled narrative.
This might actually be good, but I have to go with history of all other videogame movies. It'll most likely dissapoint. -
As sure as they completely fucked up a concept as cinematic as Hitman, they'll fuck this one up too.
-
This looked teerible. Only the girl was cute.
-
They better have a small part for the original Max, Sami Jarvi AKA Sam Lake!
-
http://tinyurl.com/6e7ndj
-
Although it does have a slight "Hitman" vibe.
-
How fucking good are Ennis' books! let him and Steve Dillion direct punisher 3!
-
Yeah, I think those black angels flying around are the "flesh of the fallen angels" mentioned in Address Unknown.
-
I guess if there's no nudity it's okay. AMERICA!
-
... and this looks great! The early shots with snow reminded me of the opening of the first game. That final money shot of the "angel of death" plucking up Max's opponents in the firefight was too cool. Assuming it's metaphorical of course.
-
Guns for everyone! Guns for you, Guns for me. Guns for Mark Wahlberg. The far right is looooooooovin' this one. Hey, maybe Payne will shoot up a bus full of nuns in this flick.
I wonder if Max Payne will take out some whiny liberals with his pistol? You never know.
Oh,and the game had the most annoying level where you had to follow a maze while Payne was hallucinating. It was annoying. I kept falling off the path into the abyss. Took me a while to finally beat that level. -
when Max Payne rears back and does the T-Rex roar.
-
Yeah, I think the visual metaphor of the Angel of Death really takes this trailer into another level of something approaching originality. We've all seen windows shot out in an office before (not that it ever really gets old). Lord knows they need all the help they can get after casting that piece of wood Mark Wahlberg. What the hell do you people see in that talentless bastard?
Forgive my n00bness, but I thought Max Payne works alone? Is the perfunctory, too-powerful PC sidekick broad (she's equal to men and more -- and hot!) part of the original story or did Hollywood just shoehorn her in to appease the libs like Mr. Gun Control up there?
(As for guns...Only a fascist would want the government to have 'em all. Not to get a Rush L. up in here...that was the philosophy of the Founding Fathers and shit.) -
Loved the games - the trailer is faithful to all that was great about them, which had borrowed heavily from John Woo films... hmm... Still - I'll be checking it out
-
What happens when the people have no means to defend themselves from tyranny, asshole?
-
I know very little about Max Payne, but this looks very familiar. What sets it apart from every other revenge shoot-em up? Bullet Time....please.
-
You based your name on that stupid fuckin wannabe catch phrase? Retarded. What sets it apart is that it kicks major ass.
-
Damn skippy.
-
I like Wahlberg though I don't see that he is Max Payne. And it's too bad they didn't use the original Max Payne theme. I hope this flick will be a hard R and that it won't feature too much shaky cam shit. Then this may be the first decent game-to-movie adaptation. *keepsfingerscrossed*Btw, the game trailers for the two games were much, MUCH more impressive than this one (music, editing, etc.). I hope that's not a bad sign.
-
The kid in the original was 1000x creepier. That kid just looked geniunely creepy, where as the kid in the remake just kind of makes this dumb, purposeful evil scowl in every shot. The remake looked 'newer' but was not in any way scary or even creepy. The original one may be dated but at least it has a palpable atmosphere to it.
-
The trailer also reminds me of Alex Proyas' THE CROW.
-
Reminds me of THE CROW "too" since other TBers have said the same.
-
I mean, those weren't in the games, were they?
-
...it wasn't over. And it would get worse before the end.
-
The final gunshot was an exclamation mark on everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger, and it was over.
-
...but it's fear that gives men wings.
-
...time slows down.
-
that would be more his part.
-
Unlimited ammo and a license to kill.Man, the two MAX PAYNE games must be two of the most quotable ones ever! I mean, try to quote ASTEROIDS or SUPER MARIO BROS.
-
...I need you to go and call the cops. I need them here.
-
Lots of cool bits from the actual game...this doesn't look as retarded as Hitman.
-
the overall feel of the trailer - brings back a lot of good memories! The music really suits as well. However, even though I'm hoping that the black-winged deamons/angels are metaphorical hallucinations or whatever, the plot synopsis from the official website leans more to these things actually being real...
"Based on the legendary hard hitting video game...blah blah...obsesive investigation..yadda yadda...Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal"
Oh dear. -
How is this guy getting work in Hollywood? The guy is the most wooden actor out there. He only shows any acting range when he is playing someone from Boston (the Departed) or blue collar (Invincible). He is the most unappealing action star out there. Just because he has muscles doesn't make him a good action star. For what he has in muscles, he lacks in charisma.
-
As far as trailers go. I am a John Woo fan, so I am hoping and expexting a good film. Looks stylish, I recognized some stuff from the game which is kinda cool as well. Hope it will be good, I will see it.
-
Better than the original? God no, not by a long shot. It was not as moody or scary as the original, the music was not as good, god it was inferior on so many levels. Mia Farrow was ok as Mrs Baylock, but nobody tops Billie Whitelaw in the original. I have never heard, until now, of anyone who thought the remake was good. Now I have seen it all, LOL.
-
Could be a bit misleading... I tihnk the original game and this movie will deal with some cultic freaks and those are probably the same fucked up druggies that killed Max's wife and child in some drug induced ritual. The original game also had an overtone of something apocalyptic written all over it from the start of the worst snowstorm to ever hit the city. So the film is really visually taking Max's narration and delivering a more visual edge. I'm guessing that 'beyond the natural world' is also methaphorical for Max to confront madmen the likes of these who are too far gone into their drug/satanic rituals to be reasoned with and are beyond help or the grasp of the law. Something just unexplainable and therefore Max has to resort to the methods that he does.
-
Lee Remick, thats for damn sure. The only good in the remake is Pete Postelwaite as the priest, and a rather cool beheading scene. The rest is a wash...
-
Agreed on the score bro, that is some of THE creepiest music ever to be in a movie. BTW, how's it going? Going to see any new films this weekend? Sadly im broke at the moment and cannot.
-
Planet Of The Apes (the first time I appreciated a score as a whole) onward. I even liked Curtis Hansen's work because he regularly hired Goldsmith.
-
It is quite difficult to name some great directors with a background in commercial and/or music videos. Mark Romenek perhaps..anyone else?
-
Compared to this, that "Shitman" movie looked fine. Then again, a bad movie is a good fit for a bad game.
-
Thanks for the list. There is quite a few I have overlooked ( sp Jonze and Gondry, Lyne and Parker). And I may quibble with some of your defined "talent". But back to the question of Moore's Omen. I think the most successful remakes ( Body Snatchers, The Thing, The Fly ) did more than slap on a fresh coat of paint of snazzier cinematography and modern special effects. Yes, it looks good, but it all seems a bit soulless, as though directed by a marketing commitee, than an artist with a vision. To a degree, maybe it was, since its sole existence had to do with its release date 06-06-06.
-
the original cost only 2 and a half million to make, which was cheap even by 1975 standards. Of course, horror was thought of as a drive-in, B-movie genre back then. This and The Exorcist helped change that.
-
Octagon was responding to my post about directors coming from the commercial or music video backgrounds.
-
I know we've tread over this "'70s is overated" ground before, but given the state of Hollywood nowadays, I seriously doubt that Hal Ashby, Robert Altman, Robert Benton, Paul Mazursky, and many others would find it hard to find jobs nowadays.
-
"Which is pretty much any John Woo film."
-
barely got released wide. And most of the other directors you stated ( you forgot the Coens )have to find their niche in the independent arm of the major studios, with the exception of Sam Mendes. I'm just stating that the studios will fund the eye candy, much more than the more unique artists, that for instance, you listed.
-
I guess we can just agree that M-o-M won't be watching the TNT double feature of Con Air and Stealth tonight.
-
Srrsly? That doesnt look awful!! Whalberg is kind of the man, though.
-
How many times can we go to the video game well and get burned by the vile scum settling at the bottom. There are about 1000 other more original movies that have come out in the past 20 years doing this same stuff, with stories that matter. Much like I did with The Hitman, I'll pass.
-
Not really, but I think that's where all this video game adaptation BS is headed.
-
...and it looks like they captured that, along with the action aspect. Max Payne is a really good story to do this type of movie with. Punisher II, however, will eat shit. I just can't see how Titus Pulo will be able to nail down the franchise for Marvel. Horrible choice of actor.
-
The trailer appears to show a lot of respect for the source material so I might be surprised. It would be nice if Poets of the Fall got a chance to be on the soundtrack too.
-
Where's the new Super Mario movie? Ya know, the one where he becomes a heroin addict after Yoshi is raped and murdered...by LUIGI!!
-
I have noticed on a lot of boards, that they don't know what the flying things are. Well For those who played the game they should realise that these are the "ANGELS", from the game when Max Payne has been drugged with the Valkyr Drug and hallucinates. With addicts to the drug mumbleing about "FALLEN ANGELS". Also many seem to compare the game to the Matrix, when it was infact in development way before the matrix. The bullet-Time and leaping sideways, is an influence from the john woo films, not the matrix.
-
Max Payne's basically got a movie-worthy plot already. If they keep the tone of the game and just follow the story, this should be easy. It looks like they got the look of it right (although, I hope we see a bit more urban grit and a little less fantasy stuff in the final film) and I have to admit, Marky Mark does sound like he's got the voice right, but from the look of things I'm not convinced there will be a story worth following. Still, definitely not lookin like the hack job I expected... perhaps there's reason to hope someone actually cared about capturing what was cool about Max to begin with.
-
as Max Payne. Fun Shoot em up game, with lots of fun hacks and a modern nior feel. The game had supernatural undertones but stopped short of introducing any actual dark angel things that the trailer sports.
I'll wonder if like the game, Marky will eat a bunch of vicodin to get his strength back after a big fight.
This film looks at least as cool as the game and I look forward to it. -
Im sick of this fascination with PG-13 movies. Some films, I can accept being PG-13, X-Men, Spider-Man, Etc. but Die Hard MOTHERFUCKING 4 PG-13??? Really? AVP PG-13?? REALLY??
Now, Im not saying if a film is R it's automatically good (See Hitman) but at least give this a shot...Max Payne was a very violent, bloody game with an extremely dark plot. Yay, let's kiddie it up. Now...maybe it can work and make $$ (see the Mask) but this will most likely fall into the Hitman catergory of 'awesome trailer/shitty movie' catergory.
Yay, i really want to see the 'unrated' DVD..no thanks, the movie will sour on me by then.
God I miss the old days of no bullshit action movies (Predator, Die Hard, Speed, hell even BAD BOYS).
ACTION films are for adults! -
add Blade 3 as another SHIT pg-13 movie when it's source material is clearly R-rated (see the superior Blade 2). If this is the case..I want my R-rated Toy Story!
-
The Matrix trilogy, 300, Wanted, Bad Boys 1 & 2, Die Hard 1-3, the list goes on ALL made money....I firmly believe if Die Hard 4 was rated R it would have grossed more than 130m or so..it's fucking Die Hard...i know me and ALOT of people I know didn't see it strictly because it was PG-13..Die Hard is one of my favorite movies of all-time and to not hear McClane say 'yippie ki-yay motherfucker' is an abomination!
-
That would be Red Bull.
-
So they are convinced that the only people who go see movies are 13, the only people who play videogames...13, and that the appropriate age for seeing a movie involving a man whose wife and baby were murdered who then goes on a killing spree against the foulmouthed goons who were behind it. Loved this trailer but hearing it's pg13 is a major major disappointment.
-
Rather have fox produce a metal gear solid movie, but after playing through MGS4, the story/cinema outdoes all videogame movie adaptations hands mtuhafuckin' down!
-
hahaha You got me slap bang in the eyeballs with that WOO line. lol. I think this movie looks interesting though.
-
Maybe I'm thinking of another game, but wasn't the character Max modeled after Christian Slater? Why didn't they just use him? Yea, I know his last video game adaptation movie was DTV and sucked balls, but I think this would have worked.
