I could definitely go for a rejuvenation of the biker flick genre, and if all it takes is guns, tits and Dennis Hopper to bring it back, then hail to Larry Bishop's HELL RIDE!

Comingsoon.net's got the exclusive red-band trailer, and it looks like a good bit of down-and-dirty fun. Having appeared in the early 70s, AIP programmers ANGEL UNCHAINED and CHROME AND HOT LEATHER (and the late 60s counterculture classic, WILD IN THE STREETS), Bishop certainly knows from exploitation cinema. He also used to be Rob Reiner's comedy partner and co-starred in C.H.O.M.P.S. Recently, he played the denim-draped strip club owner who fires Michael Madsen at the beginning of KILL BILL VOL. 2. A regular renaissance man, this one.

Unsurprisingly, Quentin Tarantino was the executive producer for this sleazy little ditty. It hits theaters (in limited release) on August 8th.
