Who Is Jan Jürgen, and Why Does All of Hollywood Fear Him?

Germans have always brought the planet a bunch of grief, but, by and large, they've been good for Hollywood. F.W. Murnau, Ernst Lubitsch, Wim Wenders, Roland Emmerich, Jörg Buttgereit... giants all! So what's with this Jan Jürgen fella, and why's he making trouble when there's hundreds of millions of dollars being poured into the most important Vietnam film since PLATOON LEADER?

I think like half the people didn't follow the links or wathc the hilarious trailer, they just went straight to the hate on the talkbacks. So is the actual documentary going to be an extra on the DVD, or is it really going to be somehow released in theatres (maybe on the website?) , or is it just another advertisement for the movie? A lot of questions i know, but this looks promising.

Seriously guys. Even if your sense of humor is completely stunted and you're not 'getting' the joke, the font for 'Rain of Madness' couldn't have been a bigger tipoff.

not the idea of the documentary - which looks brilliant and surely already makes the dvd for tropic thunder worth buying now? - but whether people's reactions are fake reactions to the fake doc OR whether some people are just thick as pigshit and humour is completely lost on them. This looks brilliant, Tropic Thunder looks brilliant, Steve Coogan to rule the world!!

After its Cinema release I will eagerly awaiting for the DVD release of this film. I have a feeling its going to be packed full of juicy goodness.
