The great Jeff Goldblum, fresh from the failed NBC crime drama “Raines,” will replace Chris Noth on USA/NBC’s “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” Goldblum will star in half the episodes; Vincent D’Onofrio will continue to handle the other half. Last year’s “Raines” was Goldblum’s first starring role on a TV series since 1980’s “Tenspeed and Brown Shoe.” His big-screen credits include “Annie Hall,” “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” “The Big Chill,” “The Right Stuff,” “Buckaroo Banzai,” “Silverado,” “The Fly,” “Jurassic Park,” “Independence Day,” “The Lost World” and “The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.” Find all of Variety’s story on the matter here.
