Cannot wait
-
a big yawn, as always. CBS - The Eye Is Dozing. Wake me up when CBS actually programs decent series. It's like they took their infamous "Crimetime After Primetime" late night lineup from the early '90s and just gave their network over to it.
-
(In addition to the aforementioned HIMYM): Survivor, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Amazing Race.
So yeah, they have SOME good stuff.
-
Dude, we're lucky just to have HIMYM.
-
Oh, wait, HIMYM is in fact pretty good. But yeah, Amazing Race is the one reason I ever watch CBS.
-
NCIS is a great alternative to Idol and Big Bang Theory is the first show in years with scenes/jokes that consistently make me laugh out loud.
-
Just kidding. Gone but not forgotten.
-
That kid's getting pretty big. Shouldn't it be "Two and Three-Quarters Men" by now?

Not that I really care, as I hate that show. HATE, I say!
-
but Big Bang Theory is a sitcom that remembers comedies should be funny. Sheldon is a once in a lifetime character and since we're all here in the talkbacks you all know that we have those sortsof people in our circle of friends (if we're not that geeky ourselves).
-
FIRE IT UP!!! That is all.
-
That's what I call my penis. *Giggle* Gets me every time.
-
Amazing that those two shows have some of the best camera work on all of TV and they've been stuck on SD for so long. I know they're big crazy remote productions, but still.
-
I just realized I no longer watch anything on CBS...sucks to be them...
-
I was watching old 'Roseanne' eps and was thinking to myself 'Johnny Galecki is actually a pretty funny dude...' he was was so deadpan as David, I loved it. I've never seen BBT though, even though the hottie from '8 Rules' is in it..
Oh and yes, I named my son Alexander after Lex Luthor from Supes and Xander Harris from Buffy...</nerd>

-
He's responsible for CBS not venturing out of their "dead hooker in a dumpster" plot-laden crime series motif. While other networks branch out in an attempt to find and program to different demos, he's content to let the former Tiffany network remain staid and banal.

The Unit: Bullying nerds and feeling good about it F*YEAH!
by Stormwatcher
The only time I have seen this show was midday on a Saturday. So crew cut military guy kept roughing up an IT guy who couldn't get a satellite link, then T2000 came in and roughed him up too, sad thing was the IT guy was the only one contributing to solving the problem as the guys just stood around looking tense and talking tough. Then the day is saved and the tough guys shake hands but ignore the IT guy who actually was responsible for coordinating getting stuff done. Made me think, hmm, porn for bullies, beat up the geeks, put them to work, take the credit. Crap show. I expect more Mamet. Much much more. You made Homicide for christ sake.

SURVIVOR needs to shake things up to make me watch again...
by Pizza The Hut
...like maybe, "Survivor: Crotchety Old Men", or "Naked Survivor" or something.
-
It's an all monkey Survivor cast this year bitches! Funky!
-
THE SHIELD is already on and in its last season,,,one prob for u, its not on CBS....lol.....SURVIVOR rocks, ive loved every season, been watching from season 1
-
lucky Gabon!
-
I think the last sitcom I watched religiously on regular TV was King of Queens, and I can't remember the last drama that excited me as there is way too much CSI and Law & Order. It is unbelievable how I grew up on ABC, CBS, and NBC, and I don't watch one damn show on those networks anymore except for documentary-type shows like 48 Hours Mystery and 60 Minutes.
-
I was a latecomer to "How I Met Your Mother," then realized that it is actually awesome, so I've completely caught up on the first two seasons on DVD. So why on earth would they schedule the release of season three on DVD nearly a month after the start of season four? This is just needlessly stupid. Sure, I'll just DVR the new eps and get caught up, but still...it pisses me off.
-
That episode if I remember right was where the IT guy was complaining about not being able to do something instead of just shutting up and getting the job done when there were lives on the line. I love the unit, himym, big bang, and Jen Hewitt's hot but I don't watch the show.
-
Thank Jeebus for BBC America.
-
...that have been on for so long and I've never wanted to watch more than one episode of most of them. Of the remaining few I've watched 2 or 3 episodes but not 2 or 3 weeks in a row.
Thanks Herc for making me realize this.
-
We already knew Jericho wasn't coming back. Can't say I care about any of these returning shows. If Swingtown comes after the summer, I'll be happy though. That show's been pretty good so far.
-
also, why is 80% of their fall schedule shows about solving crimes?
-
What other network has the balls to aim squarely for the senior citizen demographic?
