Want to see HANCOCK at Midnight - Friday Night at the Alamo Drafthouse South?

Published at:  Jun 26, 2008 3:45:10 PM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here... This is a short notice screening recruiting endeavor. Sony wanted to show me HANCOCK and I kinda wanted an audience, cuz it ain't no fun watching movies alone. So here we are - set up with a Midnight screening tomorrow night of Will Smith's big 4th of July starrer... HANCOCK.

We're keeping this simple - this is a Fantastic Fest/AICN screening - so there's one of two ways to get in. If you're a Fantastic Fest badgeholder - look for the Alamo Facebook invite - coming soon - or email Brad with the subject line "AICN says to stroke my HANCOCK" - and then the name(s) of you and your guest(s). We'll have fun vintage trailers in front - and have a rollicking good time this Friday night! Sound good? I hope so. See you there!

    by bacci40

well, the first 3 minutes, cuz the stupid asian dude taking the vid had no fucking clue what he was doing...and they couldnt even get the opening scene right...what made that scene funny in the show, was how crisp the doors opened...it was timed perfectly...which is why, when at the closing credits, when the final door slams on smart's nose, it remained hilarious each time...just like the dick van dyke show and dick tripping over the amoir...well in this, there is no timing, and we get some lame joke about the payphone elevator...fuck hollywood...oh and fuck hancock...i aint going

    by spectrebeeyatch

On here all I see is hate for this movie anywhere else and it seems to be getting the "yeah I'll see it". Here is why the movie won't bomb: Teens will see it because it's a "rebel" super hero who is cool. And Will Smith. He somehow makes even shitty movies better and makes them money(I, Robot and I am Legend). So don't be surprised if this does well. It also comes out alone. Still will I cheer if Hellboy 2 defeats it? Hell yes I will.

I've never really thought he's made his mark in film yet. Honestly, he never really put a great dent into TV even though he starred in one of the greatest shows ever. Either way, I will see Hancock for mainly Jason Bateman in hopes that he'll get a good movie career before arrested development becomes a movie.
