Eric Stoltz And Clancy Brown To Star In 80-Minute Sci-Fi FBI TNT Series BLANK SLATE!!
I am – Hercules!!
An 80-minute TNT project titled “Blank Slate” will air in 20 4-minute hunks in September. Monday morning’s Variety says it joins the growing number of TV sci-fi FBI projects:
Lisa Brenner will star as an amnesiac who becomes part of an experimental FBI program dedicated to solving murders by "implanting memories of the recently deceased into the living." Eric Stoltz and Clancy Brown also star.
“Blank” should not be confused with Fox’s sci-fi FBI drama “Fringe” nor producer Dean Devlin’s other project for TNT, the action-drama “Leverage.”

Haven't seen Stoltz in a long time.
-
Best thing about The Prophecy aside from Viggo's stint as the devil. And an underrated actor to boot.
-
not the right place to put this, but still....god fucking dammit.
-
...bless the guy who made us laugh.
-
so many have died this year....whats the point???
-
I swear, is it just me or are all these so-called "new" sci-fi shows starting to sound exactly the same at this point, and just blurring into one another?Oh wait, I forgot, this is Hollywood we're talking about. Originality is to be squashed and all shows sounding alike or cloned from one another IS what they want!
-
With their attitude to Sci-Fi, it's lucky to be getting four episodes!
-
Seriously. 20 4-minute hunks?! Is that supposed to appeal to anyone? Fuck you, just air the show! If I'm going to watch something in 4 minutes, it's going to be porn. Will THIS be better than porn? Um, no.
-
That´s a Man.
-
Won't this make the story kind of hard to follow?
-
doubt it'll do too well
-
There.
-
. . . and only after I've DVR'd every episode. Seriously, 4 minute chunks? RE-TARD-ED.
-
Isn't that the definition of a gangbang?
-
Ill watch it just for Clancy
-
but not hunks

Anyone remember the hype for Fearless?
The FBI chick who had no fear function in her brain.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363333/
Rachael Leigh cook stars as a Gaia Moore, a woman born without the gene for fear. Gaia's mother was murdered and her father is an antiterrorist operative in hiding. She is recruited by her godfather to join the FBI specialized crime division in New York. Ian Somerhalder stars as a criminal-turned-FBI agent. Written by Hutch
From the executive producer of CSI and Without a Trace, this ensemble crime drama uncovers the FBI's best kept secret: the Y Unit. Society is breeding a new class of young criminals and it will take an elite division staffed with the finest young agents to infiltrate and apprehend them. The Y Unit requires a special kind of operative to succeed - much less survive. Born with a genetic defect, Gaia, 21, lacks the basic instinct her partners Ryan and Harmony must fight to control: fear. Whether Gaia's handicap is an important asset or a deadly liability for the unit remains to be seen -
I think it seems that more "famous" people have died is due to more access to information.
Fuck the news tells us when a politicians grandmother croaks. Like anyone cares.
-
It's such a great idea! Why hasn't anyone thought of using an amnesiac on tv before? What'll these guys come up with next, eh!?
-
"he had to write a cliffhanger on every fifth page!" yeah, that's gonna be good...
-
Stoltz: I'm Captain America baby.
Brown: Of course you are. -
Shit. Give this guy a starring role. Clancy, you should have held out for something better, man.
-
... with CBS new old-person crime drama "Snore", We-network's new wimmenz-powerr series "Grrrrlz", Bravo's latest reality series "Ah-OOOO-gaaaahgh", or the new 78 one-minute episodes fantasy series from PBS enetitled "Gnorrrk".
-
wasnt stoltz being cast in the galactical prequel caprica? if it goes to series i doubt he'll be starring in both?
-
Plus he's the voice of Mr. Krabs. I'm tellin ya, he can do it all. I'll watch just for him, even if the plot does absolutely nothing for me.
-
They'll air at the same time, separated by commercials, right? That's pretty much how all shows air these days.
-
as the inventor of the Cylons??
-
Yes.
-
This is a phrase George Carlin would have a FIELD DAY with... I'll see Clancy Brown in anything, fucking underrated actor, but fuck that format, I'll wait for the complete download...
-
TNT. Asshats of cable. TNT - We Know Reruns.
-
He was perfect in the animated series. PERFECT.
-
I believe that if Clancy Brown says the proper combination of words, he can kill a man with his voice.
-
Y'know, how about some "genius character actor Clancy Brown", or "Clancy Brown, who single handedly kept HBO's series Carnivale on air", or "Vocal mastermind Clancy Brown"? Not even a "he's pretty good"?
Guess only show creators and get that kind coax treatment, eh -
That's just funny as shit dude..........and probably true. I couldn't give a rat's ass about the lame concept for this show, but just knowing that "I AM ALL THAT IS MAN" Clancy Brown is in it? Count me in for a few episodes at least.
-
was talking to Chris Wallace.... T%old her that Earth 2 was a good show and it wasn't going to make it because you can't miss a show in order to understand the plotline.... I don't think she was appreciative of my comment... even though Clancy Brown usually a class act in almost every role he does.
-
I freaking screamed to my girlfriend, "THAT'S THE KURGAN!!!" --She hadn't yet seen Highlander. I soon rectified that.
-
YOU are why I keep coming and reading these talkbacks... You guys come up with some brilliant shit!
-
Do something NNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
-
The 20 four minute "episodes" are probably going to be structured the way the scene in memento. Give it a chance. It might suck horrendously, but so might many things when first experimented with.
Oh and Clancy Brown is the Man. -
Consummate Lex Luthor voice! If the show is made for TNT, it might not suck. If it was made for sci-fi, it's a prerequisite to suck.
-
Ass kicking, wise guy that rules the universe. I can see him in that role.
