It was David Rasche. I remember liking that show as a kid, but honestly don't remember much about it. Teaser looks like a lot of fun, but I'm always down for a Cohen Bros. film.

    by pumpymcass

than the red-band trailer. Honestly, I don't really want to know much more about the film. I know it has a cool look, I know it will be violent and funny, I know it has a bunch of stars and that the Coens are behind it. I'm in. And is it just me or is Tilda Swinton the most oddly attractive woman in film?

I'm with Lance Rocke RE: "Meh"

    by slone13

Today's disenfranchised youth are so bent on letting everyone know their opinion on everything, but can't actually be bothered putting said opinions into actual real words.

Which begs the question: Do they really have anything to say to begin with? Because it really seems more like they're simply interested in letting complete strangers know that they don't have any opinion in the first place. At least not one worth expressing in proper vernacular. Go back to school, you dumb fucks.

+1 for both.i agree that i'd rather go into a film without knowing everything about it. even the plot. some of my favorite films are ones i had no notion as to the plot or story. thats how you get your mind blown, not by hyping it up and watching every bit you can on youtube.and yes, Tilda Swinton is very attractive. i said it yesterday (or whenever) when the poster for this went up, she's hot in a weird David Bowie kid of way. hot chicks are a dime a dozen, if you ask me. i'd take an angular elf looking Tilda over a barbie looking girl any day.

This is a great trailer. Shows you the strong part of every Cohen film: the characters. But only shows you enough to make you go, "uhhh i need to know more cuz that kinda didn't make much sense." and oh there were no bombs going KA BOOM or curving bullets.

Hammer remains ahead of its time. It's still funnier and more relevant than the new Get Smart movie or Middleman.

Damn, it's great to see Brad Pitt channeling the "12 Monkeys" near-insane nuttiness again. He nails that wide eyed stuff better than most actors out there. The Coens know this too, apparently.
I'll definitely be seeing this film.

I remember the original Big Lebowski trailer

    by mraig

It was just this crazy montage of insanity that let me know all I needed to know to know I wanted to see the movie:
    1. John Goodman

    2. Steve Buscemi

    3. bowling

The fact that everything else about it turned out to be so amazing (sorry, I didn't know who Jeff Bridges was yet) was just icing on the cake.

    by dogmatic

I am sure this is gonna be a great flick as the Coen brothers are on a role....but man I want a Sledgehammer movie!!! Everything from Get Smart to Hogan's Heroes to Starsky and Hutch has been done and more! So let's get a Sledgehammer film!!! I loved that show! Got the DVDS! GLAD to see this guy is in a movie again even if it is a small part and doing something humorous. His last role as the one guy on the plane with flight experience in United 93 was...not so humorous. Anyway, bring back the SLEDGE!

Can't wait to see it and all I have to know is that it's a Coen Bro's flick.Good call on Pitt channeling Jeffrey from 12 Monkey's. Of course, he was pretty loopy in Kalifornia too. He and Clooney are always great together. Tilda...meh and I too have a thing for redheads. I prefer mine a bit more voluptuous though or perky like Amy Adams. Mmmm...Amy Adams.

    by deadpanwalking

She's the first weirdo dyke on record with (count 'em) TWO live-in boyfriends. One an older distinguished writer and the other a young hunk-ish artist. Not that I think she's concerned one bit with societal gender mores.

Far from it though, yeah, she doesn't look like some collagen lip enhanced Hindenburg-sized-tits bimbo. In fact, she was cast in LotR as a woman thought to be the most beautiful on the planet. I wouldn't go that far but she has a natural beauty. Eye of the beholder mate and I can guess what your reply will be: Yeah, and she was also cast as Bob Dylan!

    Brad Pitt being a douche

    by smackfu

"Hey look, I'm wacky and crazy! I'm hamming it up in a Coen Brother's film! What will I do next?!" The best part about humor Coen Brother's films is that it never seems like anyone is *trying* to be funny or quirky, it just sort of happens and you believe it's dry subtlety. Kind of seems like 'Pitt' is acting like an actor who can't wait to be a quirky character in a Coen Brother's movie and is forcing it rather than being a quirky character in a Coen Brothers movie.

Elbow's "Grounds for Divorce" from 2008's "Seldom Seen Kid" album.

Wow! Elbow on a Coen Brother's soundtrack??? I know that trailer music isn't indicative of the final cut, but to have a relitavely little-known band from Bury, England attached to a global trailer?!?!! COME ON!!
