A quarter century after Lawrence Kasdan’s “Big Chill,” William Hurt (“The Incredible Hulk”) has taken his first regular TV series role as the client and former flame of Glenn Close’s steely lawyer Patty Hewes on the second season of “Damages.” Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan also return for the second season, which starts shooting next week. No word on Ted Danson resurrecting Arthur Frobisher – which suggests Hurt is his de facto replacement. The series is expected to return to FX in early 2009.
