Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We've talked a lot about SPACED here on the site. It's the real deal and if you haven't been lucky enough to have seen the original British show, never fear... we're getting Region 1 DVDs this summer with a shit-ton of new material on them, including friends and family commentaries from people like Tarantino and Matt Stone.

But that's not all. Looks like Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes (not sure about Nick Frost) are headed on the road to pimp the DVDs. I know that they're planning an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego as well as a showing in Austin and New York (details to be announced, soon hopefully).

To kick it all off Edgar is doing a precursor solo event in LA as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival on the 24th of this month where they'll show 2 as yet undecided episodes and have Q&A moderated by South Park co-creator and hilarious mo-fo Matt Stone.

I'm praying that I have some business in LA on the 24th so I have an excuse to see this thing... At the very least I plan on stalking everybody at Comic-Con. Enjoy, you LAers lucky enough to attend!
