    Earth 2

    by aloy

Wouldn't calling it "The Complete Series" be ....basically a crock, since, it (like so may other sci fi shows) was cancelled before there was any final resolution to the story. All these shows that end before their time need to be labelled "As far as it went." on the DVD box. Truth in advertising? Non?

    Middleman?

    by dangerman

Middleman is crap forged by a lousy, self-promoting hack. I couldn't believe how shitty this MIB ripoff is!

I don't care if he is a "lousy self-promoting hack", he's written some excellent episodes of Lost. Not to mention that Middleman sounds pretty cool: http://tinyurl.com/5hwhaj

    Middleman

I know nothing of the man, but the Middleman comics are pretty good, and not MIB ripoff-y at all.

    Weeds...

    by furzee

Is the only good show on this craptacular list. Now if only we could get some new episodes of Rescue Me on the air this summer...

    Middleman

    by rben

although i don't think i get ABC Family on my landlord paid for basic cable. bummer. with Lost done and BG finishing up in a few weeks, it'll be the usual summertime TV famine as I pretty much tune out reality shows. Fear Itself? Always been more of an SF fan than horror but who knows, some eps might have sf or fantasy elements and does anyone know if these are strickly originals or are there any short story adaptations in there by the likes of Matheson or King? Guess i'll be hitting ye old Blockbuster down the street most of the summer and cracking open my big collection of SF and thriller paperbacks during the lazy hazy months (in between the blockbusters on screen of course)

Rescue Me won't be back until next year...

    by sledge hammer

...just like Nip/Tuck and Big Love, amongst others, while shows like The Shield have been delayed until sometime during the last quarter of the year. Only now are we really starting to see the impact the writers strike had on delaying cable programming, with a lot of shows starting either far later in the year, or else not until early next year even. And some shows still don't even have airdates. Usually by the time the network season is powering down, the quality cable shows are starting to power up to take their place, but this year, for the most part, we just aren't going to have that. I mean hell, Weeds is the only thing on this list I give a damn about, and July isn't looking much better. It's gonna be a rought few months, tv wise...

At least Rescue Me was scheduled

    by skimn

to film 22 episodes this year, so I bet they split a winter/fall 2009 schedule. I thought The Shield was coming back September/early October...And fuck, missing my It's Always Sunny fix too.At least the Ventures are back tomorrow!!!
