Figured I'd join in with the horrendous grammar on display so far. Are the day release retards allowed on here?
-
Cause that's what passes for conflict in these weak ass books.
-
Raimi back with a syndicated series? I thought Andromeda was the last of those.
-
I smell cheeeeeeeeeeeeese!
-
That's a photo of Jesse Spencer, who's in House. And hot.

Update that.

Discworld needs to make its Hollywood debut.
And what's with Craig's mangina? -
Happened once in the entire series if I remember right, and not in the first book which is what the series is based on.
-
Not that the books were high literature anyway, but still I was expecting something different than Hercules and Xena. These actors honestly don't look the part to me.
-
Double-yoo tee eff, mang?
-
This should be on hbo, these books have to be way toned doon on the violence for tv

2 hours of mindless entertainment. AND I LOVED IT! Consuming pizzas and ice cream while watching Sorbo, Lawless and Bruce "the Chin" Campbell. Can it get any better?
-
I insist.

Any hetero males over 30 years of age working in movies?
-
Remembering watching both on Saturday afternoon. Good times.

..........nice...

there's a lot more money in syndication than network primetime. it's just a lot riskier for investors (since each market has to be sold to individually). but if you turn on the TV and see a show airing first run in syndication, then it's already more profitable than 50% of the stuff shown on networks. And as for viewers, Hercules, Xena, & Baywatch were three of the most watched shows of the 90s. I believe, globally, Baywatch was the #1 show in the world at one point...

is that dude naked in that picture???

TRIPLE WORD SCORE
-
If this show isn't on Showtime or HBO it will be utter shit. The book is way too violent to be a network tv show. Me = Furious.
-
You are a cunt. Leave the talkbacks for good.
-
But it'll fail, as Raimi will throw in Xena-style PG13 violence and.....actually, that'd make it better. Hopefull he'll remove the 70 page bondage segment.
-
I will totally watch it.
-
Must be hbo or it will suck, and i always hoped routh would play richard
-
The mud people are good guys and cannibals, wonder how that will be handled on tv
-
Agree on HBO and showtime comments. How are they going to do Richard's capture by the Mord Sith (basically torturing dominatrixes)? that was very violent, very sexual, yet was an integral part of his transformation and dealing with his "father". If Raimi does this Herc and Zena style it will be too lighthearted for the tone of the books. Oh and for Song of Ice and Fire, while fantastic books, in my opinion would be difficult to do as a TV show. Talk about intricate plot and exploratory dialogue! People bitched about the stupid taxation of trades routes crap from SW. Can you imagine the plot from SOIAF?
-
I got about 2/3 through the 1st book of this crapfest. It reads like fanfic.
-
If its syndicated, then I have to ask this: why wasn't it good enough to be on a network? Was Spiderman III that bad?
-
I tried reading this book... and I quickly came to the conclusion that I'd rather get shingles, diphtheria and stage 7 syphilis than finish it. I found most of what I read to be sadistic, simplistic, meat-fisted , etc...
Terry Brooks is inspirational for one reason ladies -- he proves that ANYONE can write. -
And you are inspiration for one reason: you prove that not everyone can READ. Terry Goodkind is not Terry Brooks.
-
is Flash Gordon.
-
Mixing up goodkind and brooks is pretty damn funny. goodkind i love, brooks, not at all. goodkind is always a great read imo
-
Not that I'd be surprised, he and Jennifer Morrison are the least used of the original characters (and they killed Cutthroat Bitch! Those bastards!!!). Wait, did he change his name too? This story is several days old, surely AICN would be using the right picture too by now. Surely.
-
Those two series holds up well over time because of the modern humor and intense drama, as well as the very, very good actors like Kevin Smith, Lucy Lawless and Alexandra Tydings. Michael Hurst was a very good director for the light hearted episodes, which where just to take a break from some of the darker drama. A nice mix. Speaking of A Song of Ice and Fire, I'm still waiting for "Dances with Dragons" The writer has had major problems with his editor had the messy ideaof breaking his last book the book into two parts, Feast of Crows and Dances with Dragons. The bad part about that is my favorite character, Jon Snow is in Dances and left out of Crows.
-
....ass off reading this TB. Maybe I should go take a couple Tylenol...with a couple of big glasses of water. Just in case.
-
Seriously. "Raimi gotta eat!"
-
What the heck is that guy doing?
And the girl looks like somebody grabbed her hoohaa.
-
you know... those have to be the worst pictures that you could pick to show for these 2. you know, you prove why this is a website and not a real publication. zero class.
