Merrick here...
Early last month, Brett Ratner did an interview with MTV regarding BEVERLY HILLS COP 4.
A particular quote in the interview lead many to the logical conclusion that the new BHC project would have a considerably softer tone/rating than its predecessors.
When asked what is biggest challenge would be, Ratner seemed to indicate that his new film would be geared towards a very PG audience.

SGT. ROCK Movie In The Works Again!! This Time It's Set In The Future!!
Merrick here...
Joel SIlver is looking to produce a SGT. ROCK movie to be directed by Francis Lawrence (I AM LEGEND, CONSTANTINE). Chad St. John will script the D.C. Comics based film, which is also being produced by Akiva Goldsman. There have been numerous aborted attempts...over many, many years...to bring SGT. ROCK to screen, but this one's a little different than the others by way of setting.

ABC Remembers FORGOTTEN, <br>Makes EASTWICK Disappear!!<br>
I am – Hercules!!
ABC’s “Eastwick” will cease production after its 13th episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The network meanwhile has expanded its first-season order for “The Forgotten” by five episodes, but is apparently ditching "Forgotten" showrunner Lukas Reiter (“Close to Home,” “The Philanthropist”).
“Eastwick” was stronger in 18-49 than “The Forgotten” at the start of the season, but now “Forgotten” is the healthier of the two:
1.9 (2.0) (1.9) (2.0) (1.9) (2.0) (2.6) The Forgotten

Darren Aronofsky's THE BLACK SWAN is assembling a helluva cast!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If it wasn't enough that we're getting a new Darren Aronofsky movie that promises to be a psychological thriller that could very well have the highest cuteness-on-screen ratio since HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE now we get word on some serious cool casting.

MOON's Duncan Jones has picked his follow-up!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Duncan Jones' MOON was one of the big surprises of the year, a return to an old school filmmaking style ala SILENT RUNNING using great practical effects to decorate a sparse, smart script.

We got a glowing review of Michael Caine's return to revenge cinema: HARRY BROWN!!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a review from talkbacker The Lonely Dachshund who got to see the Michael Caine old-man-kicking-ass revenge flick HARRY BROWN.
No hyperbole here, but Harry Brown is one of my most anticipated flicks in the can. When I sat down with Michael Caine earlier this year he described it as what would have happened if Jack Carter had lived to a ripe old age and was called back into action. This film promises to be everything I wanted out of GRAN TORINO and didn't get...
Here's Mr. Dachshund's thoughts on the film!

Harry claws to learn from Joe Johnston on WOLFMAN set!!!
Hey folks, Harry here with my chat with Joe Johnston that took place in the Talbot family home. There was a ton of last act spoiler activity going on around us, but the Talbot Manor was exquisite. Very much the home of a hunter, taxidermy abounded. Just loved it. Now - you have to know that this was about two months prior to Joe committing to CAPTAIN AMERICA - so that wasn't even a topic that anyone knew to discuss.
