I am – Hercules!!
Fox doesn’t announce its fall slate until Thursday, but producers of “Fringe,” “Sit Down, Shut Up” and “The Inn” have apparently already learned the netlet is taking their pilots to series.
“Fringe,” from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot (“Alias,” “Lost”), is about a hot FBI girl who teams with a troubled scientist to investigate a growing wave of paranormal activity.
“Sit Down, Shut Up,” from Mitch Hurwitz (“Arrested Development”), is an animated sitcom about a dysfunctional high school faculty.
“The Inn,” whose pilot was directed by Jason Bateman, is about a fancy New York hotel’s staff. It was created by “Arrested Development” writer Abraham Higginbotham and stars Jerry O’Connell (“Carpoolers”).
There’s also word that Fox is ditching its Kelsey Grammar broadcast-news sitcom “Back To You.”
