‘The World I Found Is A Nightmare!!’ Marvel’s First Official WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN Trailer Is Up!!

I am – Hercules!!
Unlike the earlier unofficial version, the official trailer doesn’t employ Foo Fighters, but it does feature more footage!
I’m not entirely certain, but I think the mutants are driving a Klingon bird of prey now!
It hits Nicktoons early next year. Watch the trailer here.

Animation looks nice. Guess we will see.
-
didn't expect some of the characters I saw, but I'm looking forward to this!
-
Nice.
-
I started by thinking, ugh MORE X-Men and what's with the Wolverine hype? but this actually looks like something I'd watch.
-
why sell it, I think I got most of the spoiler and more just from the trailer alone. I probably know EVERY cameo appearance now.
-
Remember that issue of New X-Men with her on the cover sporting camel toe?
-
This actually looks pretty decent. Surprisingly.
-
because Cyclops isn't a popular character?lame.Wolverine is a good guy to have on the team, but he shouldn't be the one rallying the troops.whatever.
-
ill watch it but anyone feel like they took alot of story ideas from the old series and slapped it on this one?
sentinels and senator kelly
days of future's past (only instead of bishop it plays on the x-men)
what do u guys think? -
cyclops is still the biggest douche in the universe.
-
Who writes this crap?!?!
-
Wolverine and Cyclops have now officially become Freaky Friday mates. Horrible.
-
Bishop wasn't around for days of Future Past. he did come from an alternate, dystopic future, but a different one.but yeah, there is a LOT going on here. Mojo and Project Wide Awake and Genosha (sp?). seems kind of like the Wolverine live action movie. toss in a whole lot of story fragments and hope folks like it. and maybe we will.
-
read Astonishing X-Men and there is no way you'd call Cyclops a douche. the movies didn't care about his character at all, and now neither do 98% of people who know about the X-Men. kind of sad, really.

They make Cyclops the messed up, edgy, ruthless one
by david cloverfield
While they make Wolverine family friendly good guy leader. It's happening in the comics and now in the TV.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing this. The team of X-Men for the series seems rather expansive though. Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Shadowcat, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue, White Queen, Angel, Iceman, Beast, Cannonball... I love the characters, don't get me wrong, but you know that in a half hour show, a lot of them will get the short shrift.
-
Compared to what the kids are watching these days. The cheap ass jap or american jap frozen movements with moving mouths. Looks pretty fucking good. & ummm...Is that actually Ian McKellens voice as MagNeato? Or just a really good fake like in Clone Wars? Just when I thought I wouldnt DVR anything on Nicktoons...

Marvel is really delivering with a bang in their movie ventures
by theycallmemrglass
First with their stunning comic hero animation films: Dr Strange, The Invincible Iron Man, The Ultimate Avengers 1 and 2. Then with their live action ventures starting with Iron Man. This studio rocks hard as Pixar did.
-
Attention Comic Book Artists and Animation Character Designers:
Members Only jackets over costumes are not cool and they have never been cool. STOP IT. That is all. -
I don't care for her as an X-man. She'll always be The White Queen to me.
-
do they kiss?
-
wahahahahahahahaha
-
He's been overexposed in the comics and the films. And now in the cartoon series as well. He needs to be put to rest for a few years, he's lost all his mystery and edge and is almost self-parody.
-
He is no longer a short, angry, cigar smoking rebel who is in constant torment over his past, and whose bloodlust and rage guide him. Film and television have domesticated him.
-
in X-men things that move.
-
First of all, Claremont did the "dark future" thing 25 years ago. HEROES ripped that off. Second of all, after the House of M storyline, Wolverine got all of his memories back. He knows his past, there isn't anything left to agonize over. They, y'know, moved the character forward. I know, that's almost unheard of in comics these days, but 30 years of whining and bitching about not knowing where he's from wore thin as fuck.
-
How did DC get so lucky and Marvel get so screwed when it comes to their animation divisions? This looks dreadful.
-
That is all.
-
Looks good so far I will watch it. Wolverine being a leader is weird but I will look past it till I see the actual show.
-
Wow that trailer actually looked pretty good.
Count me in. -
...ever since XME ended (and it did end way too soon.) It looks very promising. A mixture of the newer x-men comics with old classics (like Days of Future past).
-
I was expecting much worse.
-
I like the art style, and the content. There are actually guns in this! Unlike the recent Transformers cartoon... I just hope they have new stories here instead of using old ones. The only thing cool against Humans VS Mutants storyline is the sentinels.
-
that IS a klingon bird of prey in there...
-
I hate to say it, but this is one of those times I wish they'd leave those stories alone. The kids should read those comics, maybe find out why the x-men are so popular in the first place.
Instead of this "Logan, you must lead them... since you are the most marketable Marvel property..." -
That's all.
-
I swear to friggin god that I am sick and tired of this Wolverine bull crap. First off, Wolverine is the leader? You've got to be friggin kidding me. Wolverine is one of the most boring, most over saturated characters in comicdom. I think he currently appears in 5000 different comic books, even some of DCs comics. Secondly, has Marvel learned absolutely nothing? The fan reaction to Cyclops in the movies was nothing short of people wishing death on them for the misuse of Cyclops and *gasp* big surprise, Marvel's doing it again. I would say that this series has promise but you know what, it looks exactly like X-Men Evolution. Exactly. It looks like they decided to redo the third and fourth seasons of X-Men Evolution and reboot. We'll call it Wolverine and the X-Men and no one will be the wiser. Well, we are. This crappy ass cartoon along with the horrible "Next Avengers" movie coming out makes me want to crack Joe Al-Quesada's skull. The fact that Wolverine gets a genuine look of concern on his face when a bomb hits Xavier is laughable. You really think Wolverine would have that genuine concern for Xavier? Even if he did, he wouldn't show it like that. He would get pissed and start ripping things to shred. This is a laughable joke of a cartoon. I would rather be hooked up to a machine and watch every Michael Bay and Uwe Boll film constantly for the rest of my life then endure this crap. I would rather be hooked up to a machine like that guy in Clockwork Orange than sit through this. You also want to know how you know others think this is crap, by the fact that Marvel is putting this on Nicktoons. Not the WB and not Cartoon Network. It is utter shit. Marvel, you fail at cartoons ever since the 90s. X-Men Evolution sucked. That's why it ended after 4 seasons. Your misuse of characters in the movies reflects in your box office and fan reaction. Your misuse of characters in comics is pathetic. And the skrull invasion? Whoopdee friggin do. No one cares. So what if everyone is a skrull, I don't care. I have no reason to care for the fact that everyone is a skrull. I hate you all and wish that you all would get your act together.
-
Try decaf for a few weeks, okay? Fact is, NO Marvel cartoon has ever been "great". Just because you were a kid when Evolution aired, and were impressed by it, doesn't mean it was great. I was a kid when Spider Man and his Amazing Friends aired, and I loved it. I can admit now, however, that it was crap, though. Half hour cartoons for kids will NEVER EVER EVER be as good as the ongoing comics, because the comics have much more time for depth and development, and the cartoons are aimed at kids. Watch it or not, but spare us all the vitriol, okay?

The role of Professor X will be played by Dwayne Johnson.

Looks like the only new kids cartoon that grown-ups can watch...
by prof. pop-cult
I plan to check this out because of that. This looks darker, more mature than the last two X-Men cartoon series.
-
I was a kid when Pryde of the X-men aired on television. i grew up with the 90s superhero shows. Those were good. The best I've seen is Justice League/Justice League Unlimited.

While i liked (not lived but liked)XME it was cancled beause someone at the network dicided it had run it's course. I agree. And yet GEnosia as Magneto's haven,A global plan to combat the Mutant question, The X-Men tearing themselves apart so in essence their is no team. Does any one else think that they are just coppying all the good (and in some cases just plain bad) story lines from from the comics sence XME went off the air. I don't want to waste time seeing this stuff again!!!!
-
and Cyclops= Filler
-
if I can sit through all that horribly shitty "teen" dialogue of X-men evolution where Kitty says "Like" 50 times an episode then I can certainly watch this. Wish they weren't relying so heavily on the movies and Wolverine though.
-
It sounds more like the 90's one. I could do without the Ian Mcellan wannabe for Magneto though. I just found the 90's Magneto to have a very powerful voice. I can tel whoever casted them at least knows what they are doing so I appreciate that. It's nice to see so many characters and to see that this will be treated a little more adult then previous Marvel and DC animation.
-
to the future instead. He is so overused. I'm starting to hate him.
-
was a total homage tot he 90's cartoon. I think I would love this if they put out maybe the next season with a new name without Wolverine so he doesn't have to be in every episode.
-
You can tell Cyc is going to be a total incompetent idiot in this. In contrast I'm actually starting to like Cyclops a lot more because of his ill treatment by marvel and the movies.
-
thats fuckin awesome, ill watch just for that.
-
This actually has potential.
-
This doesn't look like total blasphemy.
Might not be bad. -
Sorry i just noticed that. But what the hell? That's like forever. All the shittier stuff that I wont watch is gonna come out first...
-
Wolverine and the Xmen?!? It's not all about wolverine fuck that overrated backscratcher. I blame mostly those dumbass fanboys who hyped this fucker to the point that he was the leader in X3.talk about fan service. What's next, Wolverine and the Avengers? Cap takes a backstep "bub".
-
He's my favorite X-Man and he never gets on the shows. WTF Marvel? Hell X-Men 3 could have almost been saved if he and Juggernaut went a couple of rounds.
-
If the promo materials are any indication (it wouldn't serve much purpose otherwise, would it?) Colossus is on the show. As for the title, it makes a certain amount of sense. Wolverine IS the flagship character for the franchise and has been for twenty-some years. There is also a Wolverine movie being released next Summer, so to build off of that is a smart strategy.
-
Anyone know if it'll ever see the light of day? And before anyone says "who cares", well...I do. I started it so I may as well finish it. Besides, I've heard S4 is the best of the bunch.Oh, BTW....I happened across a STARZ channel last nite showin' some film with Jane March nekkid as a jaybird. Man, she has some nice titties there. Not that it's on topic or anything, but it still needed sayin'.....
-
Now that's something I wouldn't have minded seeing in the movies. I don't know why but when hot girls do that sort of thing, moderately not with all that facial piercing crap, it drives me wild. Plus Rogue would have been more interesting, Ann Paquin had very little to do as it was.
-
I checked it out....but I ain't really sure what I was watchin'.....
-
Is it just me, or does the art style look an awful lot like the Venture Bros? Not that this is a bad thing but it just seems strange.
