Greetings! ScoreKeeper here with word of an upcoming event that should make the head of even the most mild-mannered movie music enthusiast explode with ecstatic euphoria!

This Saturday, on May 10th, 2008, over fifteen of Hollywood’s biggest film composers will come together with film music fans to hallmark an extremely important milestone. Varèse Sarabande, the world’s most prolific soundtrack label, is turning thirty!

In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Varèse Sarabande is sponsoring a mammoth film composer autograph session unlike anything experienced in cinematic history!

So, the big question is…Who will be there?

Composers will be autographing copies of their respective scores released on the Varèse Sarabande label along with copies of the new 30th anniversary, 4-CD box set featuring over five hours of great film music from 2003-2008 released just last month.
