Horror noir graphic novel THE DAMNED being brought to the big screen by Dreamworks!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Can't say I'm familiar with this Oni Press graphic novel, but it sounds up my alley. Described as a horror noir film about an LA private dick taking on a new gang in town with ties to the supernatural. Sure, I'm game. Sounds a tad like the really sweet Charlie Huston series began with his book ALREADY DEAD about a vampire private detective taking on the supernatural seedy underbelly of his city.
Screenwriter Dave DiGilio is onboard to write. His only credits are the TV series TRAVELER and 8 BELOW... yeah, the dog movie.
Hopefully it'll turn out good. We'll see.
