I am – Hercules!!

SciFi.com is premiering the “Battlestar Galactica” 4th-season premiere at noon Eastern Time Friday. That’s 9 a.m. here in the Beautiful Blue State of California and 10 hours before the Scifi Channel shows it! You can see for yourself here!!

Forget about that “They have a plan” business. The show gets a whole new preamble:

“Twelve Cylon models. Seven are known.”

Quick wipes over Leoben, Shelley/Gina/Natalie/Caprica, Sharon, D’Anna, Simon, Doral and Cavil.

“Four live in secret.”

Quick wipes over Tyrol, Anders, Foster and Tigh.

“One will be revealed.”

Quick wipe over a Terminator-lookin’ Bill Adama.

(Just kidding about the Bill Adama part.)

In the “previously” package, much is made of Kara’s childhood Eye of Jupiter fingerpaintings, the verdict in the Baltar trial, the Watchtower Four and the third-season-finale Cylon attack.

The first shot of 4.1 is Apollo and Starbuck flying their vipers out of a cloud.

The first line of this episode is, “No!! No no no!! This is frakkin’ crazy!!”

Kara Thrace’s first line of this episode is “’Fraid not!!”

Bill Adama’s first line of this episode helps form this post’s headline.

Laura Roslin’s first line in this episode is “Hold on!! Hold on!! Is it not real!! It is a trap!!”

Saul Tigh’s first line in the episode is “Nothing, Bill!!”

And that’s pretty much all I can tell you. SciFi made me sign a very legal-looking document that prohibits us from revealing any reveals. Well, maybe I can tell you that Kara is pretty surprised to learn Sam is now a nugget.

This was my favorite series of 2007. Try not to be altogether shocked if it turned out to be my favorite series of 2008.

OK, I’ll tell you how it ends. SciFi may sue me into the poorhouse but I’m still going to make you highlight some invisotext.

4.1 is the beginning of the end and it's another cliffhanger.
