Dean Devlin will soon bring us NORTHERN LIGHTS (no relation to Pullman's DARK MATERIALS book, which was recently the impetus for THE GOLDEN COMPASS). The film will directed by Chuck Russell (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3, ERASER, AND THE SCORPION KING). Russell will also rework a script by Duane Adler (SAVE THE LAST DANCE, STEP UP, and...well...STEP UP 2 THE SREETS) and David Ellison.

follows the adventures of three young pilots, each determined to be the best at extreme flying, which encompasses taking their planes to 10 Gs and 300 mph, upside down, 10 feet off the ground.
