Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here. Unless I’ve somehow missed this earlier, this is indeed the first time we’ve seen footage from this one. I didn’t even realize it was done, much less who’s directing it or who was starring in it. So this is all sort of shock to the system for me as a fan of the original. It’s a tough film to remake because the original’s not the easiest movie to “like.” It’s good, but the main character is a pretty remarkable asshole, and it’s a tricky thing, making you care about that person. If Elisha Cuthbert can pull this off, she’ll change her career, and if she doesn’t, the film won’t work. Tall order, if you ask me. Here’s the video and the letter that tipped me off to check it out:
