It’s about what happens when Cross moves to the suburbs and gets two new roommates – one liberal, the other conservative.

at a time when there were very few positive depictions of african americans on american tv, ivan dixon was not only presented with respect, he was presented as one of the more intelligent and serious characters on hogans heroes...so a moment of silence please

except then you realize that the premise also includes David Cross, and you go "hey this is probably gonna kick me in the balls with greatness instead!"
And completely off topic, but I just don't understand why Reaper gets hardly any love on Coax. It seems ripe for Herc love--and not in the girly or reality show way; more the way reserved for Joss Whedon and Tim Minear. Even moreso it seems like a show ripe for geek love (if anyone watched the CW).
Yet there never seems to be anything on it, except for the latest tidbit saying that it probably won't get renewed. Which would completely light my ass on fire, given how all the continuing threads are just starting to unwind now. -
Now how about some Preacher news? Also, I agree with crayon. Reaper is my favorite new show of the 07-08 season. I hope it doesn't get cancelled and I wish Herc would give it the love it deserves.

I'm pretty sure the Preacher series was canceled. CHUD had an article about it a while back.
Also, this show sounds fucking retarded. Cross is a bitter little woman nowadays and nowhere near as funny as he used to be. Al least Odenkirk still has Tim & Eric. Someone needs to tell these guys the sitcom is fucking dead. -

has a pretty bad track record. David's acting has been pretty entertaining post-Mr. Show. I wish this show was about Tobias though.

Really looking forward to this. I hope Bob plays the conservative and does it with lots of irrational anger because no one is funnier in a rage than that guy. Now if HBO announces they're going to start shooting the pilot for A Song of Ice and Fire it will be a perfect day and I'll finally break down and get a subscription.

I've been salivating for a little Bob & David for years now. I loved the Tobias Funke character, but could you really base a whole series around gay jokes?

...but neither was most of Mr. Show. It's a screenplay that will entirely be in the performance. My favorite joke was about the compost paper plates that the hippy uses. "I can just shit in a hole and in a few years, I've got another plate."Love Bob and David.

Classic Newsradio episode. The Bob/David crossovers in Arrested Development and Tim and Eric were pretty great too.

Hopefully they are still funny, because Bob has just gone off the deep end with what he considers comedy. I like Tim and Eric (though Tom Goes to the Mayor was WAY better), but some of that Super Deluxe crap he does, horrible, his movies... HORRIBLE. And David Cross has become way to soft, but thinks that he is some radical comedian still... Alvein and the Jason Leemunks. Lets see what happens.
