Tina Fey, Chris Guest, Jeffrey Tambor And John Hodgman To Star In Ricky Gervais’ THIS SIDE OF TRUTH!!

Ricky Gervais, creator of “Extras” and “The Office,” is writing, co-directing and starring in a movie about the only liar in a world of non-liars, and has announced on his website that he’s chosen more elements of his cast.
Christopher Guest, who directed Gervais in “For Your Consideration,” has been tapped, along with “30 Rock”/“Mean Girls” mastermind Tina Fey, “Larry Sanders Show” icon Jeffrey Tambor and “Daily Show” regular John Hodgman. They join the previously announced Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Rob Lowe and Louis C.K.

The second series of EXTRAS was luke-warm at best, and his FAME stand-up DVD was poorly received, but it was his embarrassing turn opposite De Niro in STARDUST that will have finally done it.
This will make no money and it'll be a lifetime of butlers and best mates from now on. -

Love the guy to death, although have to be in the right frame of mind and the right situation to really love him (hint - NOT Night at the Museum!). Keep this guy fun from the start, and don't turn him into a boring museum piece the way Hollywood always does the best British comedians...seriously...

check out the video posted on his blog - the last line had me laughing out loud. The haters might like it too. Also, theres a script review for This Side Of The Truth over at CHUD which rates it rather highly. I'm still optimistic. And yes, series 2 of Extras was far better than series 1.

Hodgman is the funniest thing on Daily Show these days. Good to see he's getting some... moderately high-profile stuff.
Also, what the hell, Extras S2 is so good it makes the first season look like a Saturday morning cartoon show. -
I would fuck the shit out of Jonah Hill.
This movie will be awesome. -
He needs to stick to shitty made-for-tv garbage. I HATED THE GRINCH he was one of the main reasons. He and Cliff Howard in the same scene (BARF)!!
