they could've come up with something better for the poster. Not as bland as Iron Man, but clearly not on par with Indy IV... Which is a shame since there are a few things in this world more iconic than a Chan/Li team up! I hope the movie delivers.

Damn, when did Jackie Chan go Jamaica-mon? Is "The Forbidden Kingdom - The Unauthorized Biography of Bob Marley"? That hair has to rank up there with worst hairstyles for an actor along the pantheon next to Travolta in "Battlefield:Earth" and Hanks in "Da Vinci Code"

Fan of Jackie Chan's work that isn't a ploy to get big in the US. And Jet Li has been servicable many times, and fantastic in "Unleashed" and "Hero."

...compared to their position in the image. It's a nice typographic design choice, but for people who don't already know which is which, it might confuse.The poster doesn't really tell me anything about the story, but I just like the image--it looks like fun.

there must be some commercial explanation for it, besides sheer fucking stupidity. -
What the hell does this one even mean? They just string together random words. Just string together: 'Epic', 'Power', 'Lifetime', 'Eternity', 'Love', 'Universe', 'Fantasy' and 'Battle', and you've made a new tagline!

This is all a top-billing, contractual thing. It happens when there are two major actors with equal sized leading roles in a movie. In this case Jet Li's name is first from left to right, but Jackie Chan's name is on top. And, i guess to further afirm it, Jackie Chans picture is on the left and Jet Lit's is above.

I'm looking forward to seeing this but this poster does remind me of the one for My Favorite Year with Jet Li as Peter O'Toole and Jackie as Mark Lynn-Baker!

Chan and Li will have a fight at some point in the middle of the movie and then the last scene will have them face off but we will not see what happens....my coins are on the Chan kicking Jets ass

Two lead actors fighting for top billing. Compromise? The name on the left is lower than the name on the right. This poster gives us the 21st century equivalent. Not sure how they'll handle the DVD cover. Also, the "wrong names over actors" paradox is what bugged me most about the "Grease" poster & soundtrack. (Not just that, but the list is too long for now...)

by Jet Li and Jackie Chan is like being taught to dance by Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Which happened to Tommy Steel. He was sent by his studio to learn from Gene, and then sent to Fred. Fred asked Tommy to show him his stuff, and then said 'Have you been to the Irishman? He never could do that step'.

To make this movie main stream, they got a main character whose some nobody blond haired blue eyed kid with no personality. Blearrgh.

Photoshop is a multi-industry standard graphics editing tool. Of course this has been "photoshopped", unless you think they can really capture "pure" photographs like this.

A lot of talent but very bad projects. With few exceptions their movies (especially the foreign language ones) are almost unwatchable save for the sweet, sweet, martial arts action sequences. You find yourself wanting to fast forward all the time.
Tony Jaa's in the same boat. -
The first trailer focused on the kid, and was a bit bland. The second trailer focused more on the freaky asian fantasy world, and looked really cool.

it should be to the fucking death! after a 30 minute exhausting battle, (think rocky 2, but with martial arts) chan should be fatally wounded.... an overconfident jet goes in for the kill because he thinks jackie is beaten and wants finish him off... jackie counters and kills jet instantly.... but dies moments later. roll fucking credits. because the ending of WAR fucking sucked.
