Two Secret AICN / Alamo / SXSW Screenings - Tonight and Tomorrow Night! Inside Little To No Information - But How To Learn More

Published at:  Mar 07, 2008 1:49:29 PM CST

Hey folks, Harry here... Sometimes there's shit we can't talk about. Screenings heard at a whisper level and garbled due to a beeping city cleaning vehicle that happened to pass by. These two screenings are just such screenings. They're open to anyone - regardless of badges, passes or what not - They're Midnight screenings somewhere in the city of Austin... tonight and tomorrow night. The films are not to be mentioned in advance, but are of the Independent variety - extremely fucking cool - but extremely hush hush. Why hush hush? The fuzz man, the feds... this is the shit that's too dangerously cool for Gitmo. Will you be there?

    I'm gonna guess "Pineapple Express".

    by polyh3dron

Hope it's not Harold & Kumar 2, I saw that movie and it was crappy. Saw Pineapple Express a few months ago and it was OK, but not as funny as most of the Apatow productions.

    BAUER POWER HOURS

    by batjac

It's the 24 Jack Bauer movie. They announced it earlier in the week. It's already done. It's a rough cut. Two hours of Jack sleeping. Not much else. Movie ends with him waking up and taking a whiz.

    It's clearly The Wackness

    by the burgomeister

On the Alamo's page, they ask "where were you in '94?" It takes place in 1994. There's giant marijuana leaves. It's about a weed dealer. It says it's coming out this summer and was a huge hit at Sundance. It's being released July 3 and won the audience award at Sundance. Unless the Alamo has become alarmingly infatuated with red herrings, it's "The Wackness."
