Who cares anymore? The show used to be so fresh and witty, and now the plots are staid and JD and Blond Doctor are just obnoxiously self-absorbed.
First! Where's my trophy? -
Dang! Uh? First?
-
I read the AP story hours ago! Frick!
-
It reminds me of the time when th Janitor and I went to....
-
Hands down this badboy is the funniest program on television. Scrubs is one of only two television shows I actually go out of my way to watch (the other being lost). So I'm all about this thing being picked up again, regardless of which network it would air on...
-
It's an uneven show - sometimes hilarious, and sometimes trying way too hard. But it long ago ran its course and is now just overtaying its welcome.
-
gorko let me guess, your other funniest show on TV is the american version of the Office. your favorite recording artist is this years winner from american idol. and your favorite restaurant is the olive garden
-
Yeah yeah we can moan all we want that it hit its peak a couple of seasons ago but it still manages to deliver the good stuff with the majority of the side characters, even if some of the more main characters have become tired and annoying. Though Cox is still awesome.
And it's good to know that they'll get to do a proper season finale, even if it's not at its peak i wouldn't want them to just end it on some random ep. -
Olive Garden is high quality dining. Right up there with Red Lobster!...Hold on Dear! I gotta put on ma dress t-shirt!
-
Until I hear word on that, I can't make room for it.
-
This was the last season. Surely the Writer's Strike hasn't fucked it up that much...

This was the last season. Surely the Writer's Strike hasn't fucked it up that much...
-
They just ran out of material.
-
That show had at least 3 more seasons in it.
-
but if I want really good spaghetti, I'll just go to my Mom's...oh yeah, this is about Scrubs, which consistently IS the funniest show on TV, and deserves to finish itself off properly. Wonder, though, why ABC would order almost a season's worth of new stuff--as this season is indeed supposed to be the finale. Still, if they DO pick it up, it'd be nice if they treated the show a tad bit better than NBC did: it seemed that at one point the peacock would have rather put a reality show called EAT A BOWL OF SHIT in the proper timeslot than Scrubs...though given what passes for popular today, I suppose the Nielsens woulda been pretty high on that one, eh?
-
Go run over your dog Spot and put his guts in a bag and stuff em in a drawer, then forget about it for a month and a half. Hubba hubba hubba hubba hubba!
-
This is the network that cancelled "Sports Night" and kept "According to Jim" on the air.
-
I am a fan. ABC, WB, TNT, DVD, doesn't matter. I have to find out the janitors name. And if Mickhead killed his wife. And what happens to Beardface. And Snoop Dogg Resident.
-
What the fuck is wrong with Olive Garden or Red Lobster? Seems to me like decent food, low-key atmosphere, and reasonable prices. My hipster-meter doesn't go high enough, evidently.
-
I thought once J.D. let everyone know that he really was in love with Black Scrubs and there was that awkward pause because Black Scrubs did not feel the same way and then the janitor came in and shot everyone to death because he really was a schizophrenic.
-
love scrubs, never gets old, pick it up ABC
-
if u wanna get rid of shows that have
"overstayed its welcome" ...start with the simpsons, how has that not got old after 14 yrs ?....and 7th heaven shoulda been cancelled after jessica biel left the show, but they dragged that on for another what ? 6 years ? -
Ok, that came out wrong.
Still one of my favourite shows.
I'm currently watching season 1 again. My Occurrence is still the best episode to date. I don't want them to make another season, just let them finish season 7 properly. Zach Braff wants to quit anyway. Wouldn't be the same without him. -
This show is past its prime. Way past.
-
There's nothing wrong with Olive Garden. It's a perfectly fine chain restaurant, not great, better than most. But arrogant putzes can't insult something that everybody knows is bad, like McDonalds... because they wouldn't get the little tingle they get by setting themselves above the masses, the sheeple, or whatever elitist term they like to apply to everyone other than themselves. Fundamentally, they have a weak and crippled ego, and seek to ease their pain by saying "You know X that you think is good? I'm so much better than you that X is far beneath me." The better X truly is, the more of a temporary self-esteem fix they get by deriding it.
-
If they didn't have LOST, I wouldn't even notice ABC was still on the air.
-
just put it on ABC.
-
... but, years ago, one of the greatest dramadies of all time - "SPORTS NIGHT" ... gets axed after two way-to-short seasons. No justice in television, amen. So say me all. Cooiiinnngggg !
-
Sorry someone had to qoute that old ditty. Might as well be me.
-
The only characters worth watching on that show anymore are Janitor and Dr. Cox, and even that's getting to be a stretch nowadays. Heh-heh..."Cox"...
-
Not because I'm "too cool". But I live in an Italian neighborhood. When I want pasta I take my ass to "Toscas" and when I want seafood I'll go to City Island. People who knock both are lame. Nothing wrong with those restaurants or Outback or Cheesecake Factory. Anyhow Scrubs is funny. But let it go out this year. How many seasons has it been so far? And I agree, Arrested was great. I still laugh at the DVDs as if I never saw the show before.
-
i thought the show was ending because zach wanted to move on? if abc gets it does this mean no JD? or have they offered him a lot of money?
-
And it's treading water as it is. When people think of Scrubs, do they really think of a show that lasted 7 or 8 years?
-
Bring it back, don't bring it back. Either decision will be fine with most Scrubs fans, as long as they are allowed to end the show the way they planned to.
-
Doctor Cox calls Zach by a girl's name. ZZZZZZZZ.
-
with Olive Garden or Red Lobster is that there are som people, I'm not saying anyone on this board, but there are some people that consider Olive Garden to be the height of cooking, that there isn't anything better out there, and that's not true. Don't get me wrong, I like Olive Garden and it is somewhat of a treat for me to go as i don't have any italian resturants in my town.taht and it's popular int he midwest, in the "blue" states if you will, and there are those who just like to deride anything that others like because it makes them feel good about themselves.I used ot have this same problem with music, I loved Sugar Ray, when noone knew about them, but once Fly hit the radio i was like "this is crap, this is garbage, this is shit"TV is the same, Scrubs was popular on-line back when it first started, I believe it was even one of those "the best shows you're not watching" things, but then once it was given a chance and people started watching it adn it was catching on, then it became popular and so all the 'cool' kids hated it.you can find it with movies, books, etc. it's just the nature of the beast
-
That the writers for this show are the types that refer to each other as "bro's".
-
Its clever and heartwarming and teaches important life stuff to thick people, long may it continue.
-
Breach of contract or something?
-
Chipotle is the PWN!
-
This is crap.
-
Why not get Journeyman in a buy one get one free deal....Those peacock pricks don't know a good thing when they see one.... Can't wait for the Scrubs ride at Magic Kingdom!!
-
That's a serious question. I've seen episodes from each season and haven't laughed once.
-
Carla and Elliot are shocked when they find JD and Turk consumating their "man love" in a supply closet. They turn to each other and shrug, knowing it was inevitable. Looking longingly into each other eyes, they start making out in the hallway. Doctor Cox and Kelso die from a brain anurysm from trying to outdo each other. The janitor drives away in Cox' stolen Porche moments before the hospital explodes due a bomb he planted earlier.
-
there has been a serious slip in quality in the last two seasons. It's time to let this one go already. It may mean we're afflicted w/ another Zach Braff Film because of it but I'll take that hit.
-
Did I miss anything?
-
last week...and you have not lived till you've seen a Zach Braff nude love scene. Wait, yes you have. And the movie sucked.
-
I would have thought Ted would be the one to plant the bomb.
-
His flop sweat would have deactivated it.
-
he he
-
Still better than 3/4 of the schlock on television, and that's including a weak sixth season. I'm all for ABC picking it up and running with it one more year, especially if they treat it well, something NBC almost never did.
And why does this site barely mention Scrubs anymore? Tis a shame. -
(Well maybe not season 3)...but season 6 was shit. Really bad. Season 7 I really have no opinion on. I love Scrubs, because it gave me 5 seasons of greatness. I could watch nothing but Scrubs, if it ended at their fifth season. I have hope that it will get back on track, and I'm glad no matter what at least we'll be getting a series finale. There was talk during the strike that we might not get one. I think an 8th season on ABC would be a good idea if they thought it was possible to get rid of the bad taste of these past couple of seasons and leave on a high note.
-
Now can we coax the Cloverfield monster out of hiding and lay waste to Jim and his breed? :)
-
the chick gets the shit beat out of her and duct taped to a wall with a sign over her head that says 'Hi! I'm a whore!' More women should do it that way, I tell ya what!
-
Scrubs rules. Always has been funny. Always will be.
-
See what happened. All the boring talk put TomBodet to sleep. Nice job.
-
typing on the internet was toooo much exercise for him, or he just jacked off..either/or ......lol
-
It's not what it used to be, that's for sure. But it had a pretty good run and I'd hate to see them robbed of a final goodbye.
-
Those two were never intended to end up together, I don't even know why the writers started stinging that old plot thread along again. Definitely my favorite show 3 years ago. But then it kept going.
-
I enjoy the show, but it's getting to the point where they need to stop. I don't want to see Scrubs go out like X-Files or That 70's Show, they need to go out like Arrested Development, with style.
-
Really whats up with that?
