I am – Hercules!!

Rufus Sewell (“Dark City”) will play the Patrick Stewart role in CBS’ pilot adaptation of Britain's 2006 Granada sci-fi miniseries “Eleventh Hour.”

The Hollywood Reporter describes the project:

… centers on Jacob Hood (Sewell), a special science adviser to the government who, with his feisty female bodyguard in tow, saves people from the worst abuses of science.

Scottish lassie Ashley Jensen, who played Maggie Jacobs in HBO/BBC's "Extras" before moving on to "Ugly Betty," was the feisty female bodyguard. No word on who will assay the American version, but one hears Vanessa Marcil is available.
