Emmerich's 2012 is headed for SONY!
Hey folks, Harry here... well it seems Roland Emmerich is taking 2012 to Sony for a release in 2009 and an automatic Greenlight. We know that there's a number of theories on how the world will end in 2012 - and in the latest release - we're told this is an ensemble disaster epic like... well, his other disaster epics. However, if you want to know more about 2012 - we'll have to wait - otherwise, just check out the talkback on our previous story - because just about every theory on the Mayan's predicted end of all things is there... as well as details on the solar pole shift.... the alien reveal... and on and on and on.
We here at AICN are currently digging to find out more about Emmerich's recipe for destruction. As - well - fans of his and Michael Bay love to see shit blow up, fall apart and be torn apart. Speaking of... how badass was that Navy blow-up of that toxic spy satellite? I just hope there is high res color photography of that blast because, blowing shit up in space... for real, is something entirely new to the science geek in me. And I really want to see color footage. Don't you?

That footage was awesome!! Unfortunately, with everything that we (not just the US, but everybody) put up there I think that this scenario is going to become increasingly normal. I have to believe that somebody, somehwere, is sitting in front of their computer writing a movie script that involves a non-successful take out attempt on a satellite.
