Toxie the Musical? What about a remake? Did Uncle Lloyd spill the beans?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I was sent a heads up from Rob G. over at IconsOfFright containing a link to his interview with Lloyd Kaufman at Troma and a text saying they talked about a Toxie musical and remake... by noneother than fan-favorite Brett Ratner. Reading the interview closely, Lloyd never says Ratner has inquired about remaking TOXIC AVENGER specifically, but that he has called about remaking something from the Troma catalog. I'd love to see Ratner devoted to some Troma remake... be it Kabukiman or Toxie or Surf Nazis Must Die. And that's not sarcasm. I think that'd be a good fit. As far as the Musical, Kaufman says the guys behind DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS musical have been in touch and will be producing a Toxie musical. Why not? If they could make a popular Saturday Morning Cartoon version of Toxie, why not a singing, dancing stage musical?
