Warner Bros. To Release CLONE WARS To U.S. Cinemas In August!! TV Series Follows On Warner Cable Channels In Fall!!
I am – Hercules!!
Aug. 15 is the release date for the U.S. cinema version of “Clone Wars,” the first “Star Wars” movie not to open with 20th Century Fox’s fanfare.
Warner Bros. – whose corporate siblings Cartoon Network and TNT will carry the new, Tartakovsky-free computer-animated “Clone Wars” TV series this autumn – will release the approximately 100-minute theatrical feature.
The cinema version, directed by Dave Filoni ("Avatar: The Last Airbender") from a screenplay by Henry Gilroy ("The Tick," "Justice League"), Scott Murphy ("Angel") and Steven Melching (the mid-'90s "X-Men"), is computer-animated as well.
Thirty half-hour episodes of the series have already been produced, with more on the way.
Both movie and series are set between "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith," making this Episode II 1/2, I reckon.

But I'm not.
-
Really not looking forward to the further debasement of the franchise.
-
SECOND!
Darn you CatVutt. So close. -
Can you imagine, 15 years ago, saying that something STAR WARS would be in the theaters and you might just WAIT for it to be on cable? Because, I might. Really. And that's just fucking insane.
-
maybe $30,000 wordwide.
-
oh well
-
I dont know about you guys but I can never have too much star wars. I rather have Animated Star Wars than animated Speed Racer, sorry Wachowski sisters.
-
I'm going to have to go see this... and I hate myself for it already.
-
Because the thought of that hack George Lucas getting any more publicity out of our good memories of a time long gone makes me sick. Also there hasn't been a single good piece of Star Wars news since 1999.
-
REPEAT AFTER ME: VII, VIII, IX.
Either advance the story forward or bury it forever. Enough already. For God's Sake. -
Are you forgetting how he "updated" the original three with 90's CGI, then did all he could to get rid of the originals? Any good news has got to predate 1999.
-
WTF? You need to expand your film horizons if you believe that. If anything classifies a person as "An interweb nerd", it is to call either one of the Star Wars trilogies (Especially the prequel trilogy) "The greatest thing ever to happen to movies." It's your opinion, you're entitled to it, but pot, this is kettle.
-
This carriers about as much excitement as news of a new line of toys or trading cards. An animated flick and series based between two films that really sucked?

They should do a prequel trilogy with Mccain as Obi, Obama as Jar Jar and Hillary as Palpatine

eating ladles full of his own shit now??? More Clone wars shit is all he can think of??? Someone call his ex-wife and send her a 50 to suck this guys dick again so maybe he can regain a shred of imagination and enthusiasm for his own creation. It's time to either retire or do some new shit you fat neckless bastard!!!
-
Oscar Wilde best worded my approximation of thee, "I have made an important discovery... that alcohol, taken in sufficient quantities, produces all the effects of intoxication."
-
I desperately hope that they play the old WB animation movie splash with Bugs Bunny in front of this. And then Bugs whips out his lightsaber and Duck Dodgers shows up and... fuck Clone Wars. I'd rather see my movie instead.
-
You fat necked bastard.
Fixed.
Could someone please chop off Lucas' hand so he stops signing checks for this shit. -

Getting people to buy into an animated Star Wars flick is one th
by greenstyle92
But also having that animated film be the pilot for a Cartoon Network series thereby insuring the movie you're pay your ticket for will be available free to watch on TV within one month, and rerun on Saturday mornings till the end of time? Nope, don't think people are gonna buy it.
On the other hand, they're probably hoping a lot of dumbasses will go, "OHMYGODOHMYGODWHATTHEFUCKNEWSTARWARSMOVIE!!! I didn't know there was another one due out, but it has been 3 years oh my god new star WArs!!1!" Ofcourse, yours truly will be the fucking Whore of Babylon as I'll likely be there opening day. I mean, hey, it IS a new Star Wars movie!
This does open some doors though. Star Wars Cartoon movies. Maybe they could start doing some of those. You know, start adapting some of the more noteworthy novels into Cartoon movies, (Thrawn Trilogy and Shadows of the Empire come to mind.) Just get Hammil, Fischer, and Ford to do the voices and animated them like 20 years ago. Cartoons are all Hammil has been doing lately anyway. -
How about Huckabee as R2-d2, Romney as Threepio, Cheney as Jabba, Bush as Rancor Keeper, you still think I'm a conservative haha
-
The original Star Wars was like a magnificent galloping horse. That horse has not only been shot dead, but it has been ravaged by jackals, and consumed by the desert wind. Now, with this piece of "news," someone is trying to tie strings to the horse's bones and puppeteer it back to life. But you can't...it is over.
-
You've heard it here, I'm not saying nothing new -- but have you ever thought that these movies and now cartoons aren't made for whiny, 20 and 30 something fan boys who sit around and just complain about everything? Ever wonder why "Star Wars" is still successful? A) Because you still, no matter what you say, put your money down at the box office and B) so do millions and millions and millions of kids around the world. More than you guys, George certainly knows what he's doing, since it's hard to go down the street and not see some little kid carrying a lightsaber or wearing a Jedi costume.
It's for them, the audiences who just love what they see and enjoy it on its own terms, the kids who will grow up and introduce it to their own kids, that George Lucas makes these movies.
I love feeling like a kid again, not some disillusioned "adult" who wants to find fault in everything. I love watching these movies with kids and seeing their faces light up.
No matter what you say, a 10-year-old today loves the prequels, couldn't care less if "Han shot first," and thinks Jar-Jar is funny. And just like George made the first movies for 10 year old kids, he makes the new movies for the same. As he said, the fans grew up, the movies didn't.
Come on, guys. Relax. Enjoy. Don't take it all so seriously. And go have fun. That's what it's all about.
I'm looking forward to a Clone Wars movie ... and unless I misread the article, the movie in theaters is NOT what's going to be on TV, it just leads into the TV show, so my guess is that it'll be a different thing all together just with the same characters, etc.
Who would have guessed when you were 10 or 12 or 14 that you would have COMPLAINED about a "Star Wars" TV show coming. I'm pretty excited. And if you don't like it, just don't see it. That simple. There will be plenty of people to take your seat. -
Realistically, there's no excuse Adults should be excited about this...
-
Somebody must have fucked you bad, to be in such a bitchy mood, are you sure you aint Lucas posting here?

This is a post about Jeff Albertson. Jeff Albertson needs attention. Jeff Albertson gets it by being the whiniest bitch on the board. Hello, Jeff Albertson!

This is what we've been waiting for. A Starwars film not written and directed by George Lucas. This movie has fucking awesome written all over it. I'll guarantee anyone that this movie will be better then all of pre-quels combined. I can't friggin wait. Bring it the fuck on babby. HA HA:)

Duck Dodgers (daffy duck) would be a great opening short
by jimmyjoe redsky
i think it actually played before "star wars" (episode 4) back during one of the re-releases - i love star wars, even the prequels - i dont see them as any more flawed than the original trilogy, like some do - i just love that universe/sandbox - its such a rich self contained world - i take the good with the bad - this should be cool - im still on a fence about the live action series - will it feel like a movie? - or "babylon five" etc. - at least it will have boba toolin around in slave-1 collectin bounties - that will be cool
-
Oh, lord, would you boys stop fighting? If anyone truly doubts that the second trilogy isn't that good, quick, answer this question:
Who is the villain of the original trilogy and who is the villain in the second trilogy? The first question is easy: Darth Vader! He's the king of movie baddies, someone I had nightmares about for years, even into adulthood! But who is the villain in the second trilogy? Uh... Palpatine? Anakin? Darth Maul? Um... Count Dooku? That annoying General Grievous? Were the Jedis evil? Was it big government? Was it Jar-Jar?The second trilogy is lame because there is no villain. It waffles, it wobbles, it never sticks its landings. And for those who still argue that "The Phantom Menace" was made for kids and that's why angry Gen-Xers don't get it: since when did kids love policy arguments regarding trade disputes? -
Guys, how bored would you have to be to actually be watching Kull the Conqueror? hahah Fuck it, I'm going to sleep with Jeff Albertson's sister, wish me luck
-
You are the smartest, most smarty person we have ever met. We salute you!

why is it in every "star wars" or "political" talkback fights break out - im guilty of it too, i love bashing republicans (imperials)

-
You are a lewd, crude, rude, bag of pre-chewed food, Dude.
-
Strangely I think I'm gonna miss that 20th Century Fox fanfare at the beginning - somehow it seems a PART of the whole Star Wars experience...
It would feel something like waking up in a parallel universe I reckon! -
the second trilogy indeed has one "boss" villain - Palpatine/Sidious - he is behind all the events that put him in power, turn Anakin and shape the Empire - conversely, you could say the second trilogy has many villains - this imo doesnt make it inferior to the ot, but more complex (as far as good guys/bad guys go) - one could argue that Palpatine is the main villain in both trilogies - in the ot hes only seen in rotj, but his presence is felt (he is referred to) in the first two - then theres Tarkin, Jabba, Fett - theyre all villains in the ot - it wasnt just Vader
-
"You're an idiot". "You sound gay". "Now shut up while I poop out of my mouth". Uh-huh...

I expect this to be better than the Episodes 1 2 & 3 combined.
by the outlander
It will certainly have better writing and directing (and acting).
-
But Vader is so iconic. And he dominates the first trilogy, every film, every frame. Where as Palpatine lacks the menace necessary to insinuate himself into my nightmares. He's oily, unctuous, sniveling, and wicked, but ultimately, he feels like a supercilious boss than a master villain. The second trilogy just lacks that single awesome villain. Altho' I did have hopes for Darth Maul. His fight with Qui Gon was pretty wicked, and I was hoping he was going to the clone in question.

You are universally hated. I know that's what you THINK you want, but no - to be hated is not a good thing. Please stop this...

I am perfectly fine with Jeff's enthusiasm over star wars
by terrymalloy
It does not bother me at all.
-
... i personally dont think the prequels failings (what ever they may be critically speaking) had too much if anything to do with the lack of a singular iconic villain - there might be some truth to your argument, but personally i liked the lack of one omni present "boss" villain and the fact that each (prequel episode) had a different puppet villain - maul, dooku (and fett) then grievous (and anakin) - cool stuff, imo
-
What's that even mean?
-
I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it. It was you, Jeffy.

... on how this started - i assumed you guys started on him over his defense of star wars - i apologize - and, leobloom, you look like a bigger ass than me - i was just trying to bring some civility back in here - ass

-
Will it be as kick ass as Clone Wars? If not, it's a waste. The Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network is the only good prequel project...

Since both are Lucasfilm.

I predict this to bomb at the B.O.

Lucas has not done more for movies than anyone else. That's plain bollocks. Star Wars was also not the single most important movie event ever. Where did you get this from? There's a lot of Star Wars fans in here and none of them come out with shit like this. You're showing some classic Troll tendencies- you've bragged about your intellect, how much pussy you get, called everyone else cretinous basement dwelling nerds and poseted one line insults that may as well read PWND. Yeah, just what we all wanted. Moan. They probably will give us a good movie, who knows. That is actually irrelevant for now. What matters now is the anticipation. Frankly, I cant see many (even diehard) fans being too exceite over this. And I love ALL of the prequels.
-
I'm a massive Star Wars fanboy, who's really looking forward to this Clone Wars animation, and yet I just can't side with Albertson since he's being such a knob, and Terry and you guys are completely hilarious! I love the way he's barely out of the blocks on a race that was won long ago, yet still keeps shouting about how he's the champion of the world, like the retarded kid in a school track race. :^D

Haven't they already done this anyways with the first Clone Wars?
-
I say make up some stories for 7 8 9 maybe do them 3D imax cartoons or whatever. Anyway is this movie going to be 3D with the glasses and all I couldn't tell from the artical. Well either way I'm going to the theater to see this. The trailer makes it look pretty good. At least there sould not be any bad acting.
-
Uss cygnus, you're right! But I will give my left nut to see Daniel Day Lewis as Grand Admiral Thrawn and fuck it, have Hamill get back in shape to play Luke again, he ain't got nothing else to do. Just making stop eating cheetos and get him in a gym
-
I agree with you JLo, I don't know where Uss Cygnus comment is. hahah
-
Enough with the Clone Wars retread!
-
Yeah it's about time to move on! Take all the great stuff from the PT but also learn from the misteps. Casting would be #1 on my list. Then, kick it up a notch and do it for the fans. Make one trilogy that could really resonate with the people that grew up with the OT. Have Luke come back and pass on what he's learned. It's just my opinion but I think it would be a huge hit. There is enough talent out there to make it happen.
-
Damn it, even though I know that they should do something different, I'm still excited at the fact that a Star Wars movie is coming to theaters. Lucas has my $10 already. I just hope this is the end of the Clone Wars. It's getting too congested with all this different adventures.
-
I'm thinking this will probably be pretty good just cause it's a little differant than anything else. And it looks like maybe 3D but I'm not sure what that means. Hopfully it will be kind of dark.
-
The realling exciting thing about this is that Lucas is just executive producing. I think that's a huge step in the right direction for Star Wars.
-
Was there at the midnight showing for the first prequel, saw the second one a week after it was released and caught the third about two weeks later. I couldn't have cared less about the Clone Wars cartoons that aired a few years ago and I could care less about this.
Star Wars is dead. Lucas killed it with the prequels. Perhaps someone with a serious vision and real passion for the material will be able to explore it after Lucas passes on. Until then, look for anything new put out there to blow.
I'm not expecting much from the new Indiana Jones movie either. If Lucas was involved and had veto power, then trust me, it sucks. -
that the live action series will be a little smaller in scale and grittier cause I'm ready for some bounty hunter showdowns.
-
But maybe not, like I said the interesting thing about this is that Lucas is letting other talent handle it for the most part. This is the first Star Wars material that he is just acting as executive producer since ESB. (I've seen the behind the scenes stuff for ROTJ and it looked to me like he was a little more hands on than he should have been.) Anyway this new Indiana Jones movie will really be able to show what Lucas is all about these days.
-
It's the same thing with the live action. If he is just going to produce, maybe outline the story, then we could be in for something great. I know it's possible just look at BSG. I will say, I think there is a lot more potential for the the live action just cause it was a much darker time. And I would love to see more Darth Vader stuff, how great would that be! to get a little action from Vader in his prime!! I've all ready read in interviews that it won't really br about the main charecters but that is a great oportunity.
-
It's good to hear something positive in a Star Wars talkback, Keep it going Jlo, for real, no bullshit.
-
I like a lot of what Lucas did with the PT but there was also a lot that was off to me. In the end I think the best thing for Lucas to do is just executive produce. (Which is what is happening now) I think he's an amazing idea man, great stories and an incredable imagination. So now with him doing what he does best and leaving the rest to other talented people we should have some great stuff on the way.
-
No reason not too. Things are looking good.
-
Fuck off Lucas, you tit-milking twat.
-
It is odd that Lucas is choosing to rehash the hell out of this three year period between Episodes 2 and 3, especially since it has already been covered in depth through the novels and comic books, not to mention the OTHER Clone Wars cartoon. Someone earlier mentioned setting this new program during the Knights of the Old Republic period. That would be really cool. Set it a couple of years before the first KotOR game and cover the that lead up to Revan and Malak breaking away from the Jedi order and nearly destroying the Republic in the process. If not that, then I'd like to see the series go into the truly uncharted territory that lies a thousand or so years AFTER the OT. We have really seen anything that takes place more than about 100 or so years after the OT, so this period would be a real chance to explore new ideas with even fewer limits than the KotOR era, since the future of that era has already been determined.
And I've gotta say, this has been a very funny talkback. Jeff trying (and failing) to defend himself against those other guys (who, though they did not start the fight, allowed it go on longer than was necessary) was pretty hilarious. Jeff, if you're still reading, it was YOU who started this fight when you said that Stevie Grant was talking out of his ass. YOU screwed up and made a fool out of yourself, and YOU were thoroughly dominated in this TB. This is the view of someone who read each post as a passive observer. The other guys were not nearly as cruel to you as you seem to think they were. -
I don't know why they don't move away from the Clone Wars stuff either. I'm guessing it's because it's the most recent stuff and people know what it's all about. Anyway the main problem with it is that we know how it ended up. I'm sure they'll be able to get some good stories going but over all we know how it ended. Really he needs to move into new territory.
-
what else can be explained about the clone wars that really needs explaining? WE KNOW HOW THIS ENDS! and it's not even an exciting ending at that! punk ass jedi...
-
There are a couple of things I would like to see resolved in the Clone Wars series. For one, I would like to have the whole creation of the clones investigated. They never really said much about the Jedi that ordered the creation of the Clones. I know he was killed 10 years earlier, but that's about it. Of course Palpatine was in on it but that was never really touched on. Also I would like to see more of what Sidious was up too and maybe more on his previous Master. I think it would be cool to see him looking back on his early years. And maybe even how or why or what created Anakin. I don't know, those are some issues I had with the PT movies that might be addressed in the TV series.
-
I would like to take a giant shit on this. And then smash it with the butt of my Fett blaster.
-
I am absolutely blown away by the complete lack of any coherent or 3rd grade level of discussion.
This is an animated cartoon intended for children. Who said anywhere this was some kind of major play to be an all encompassing cinematic expression matching the original 1977 movie?
Get realistic expectations, and here's an amazing idea - don't post about something and it will cease to be important.
Get a life. You all sound like bitter Trekkers. -
if i could care less about another animated lucasturd on my chest, i would. thanks for nothing.
-
I spend most of my day dealing with things that are a lot more serious. So sometimes its' nice to get away from the daily grind and talk about something that's kind of mindless fun, Star Wars Star Trek, LOTR what ever. This is aint it cool right? TB for Clone Wars?

The cartoon version was better than the prequel movies, why not this cgi version?

this is cool news more star wars is always appreciated so stop the whinning. when wa the last time had anyone seen a good space whatever lately... and the kids stuff nowadays makes me puke. harry potter should stick his wand in harmoney's ass. and i cant beleive kids like that potter crap. seriously its feeding shit to kids like mcdonalds.
Star wars is enlightenment. plus clone wars was kind of skipped in the movies. i gotta say i am more excited about the live action series even though i hear there wont be any jedis in it -
If you've seen the trailer, you know it looks pretty dark and violent. This won't be aired in the afternoon.
-
If you're all such a bunch of joyless fucks that you can't just sit back and have fun with Star Wars, and be happy to see more Star Wars in theaters, then fuck you! Go watch something else. I'm sure there's a bad Will Smith movie playing somewhere.
-
This will PWN you all. Watch. I'm gonna go so far as to say that it'll be in the top ten grossers of the year.

After the success of the prequels, I am looking forward to this
by atticus finch
I find it really funny how the insecure haters come to AICN and spout about how the prequels were "failures". All three films are rated positive by critics at Rotten Tomatoes, with Sith being around 80% positive (last time I checked). All three films had huge box office grosses. The DVDs were huge sellers. Where are the people who think they were failures? Basically the vocal minority on the internet who are usually first in line and dance to the lemming-like chants of "wooden acting!", "poor writing!", "dull plot!", "too much CGI", et. al. You guys can follow the Pied Piper all you want, but I'm secure in the fact that I love the saga, Lucas is still taking shits that will be far more interesting than anything any hater comes up with, and the Star Wars franchise is then, now, and forever. Peace!

I would love to see the cartoon explore Sifo-Dyas and all the plotting and manipulating of Sidious. I'm not holding my breath for it, but it'd be cool.
-
Haterz gotta hate, but I still think Star Wars is great. Lookin' forward.
-
Hasbro took a nosedive since ROTS, and all the toy lines after suck ass. The figures look nothing loke the cartoon.
-
i always wondered how the prequel ships would have looked if they used models like in the OT, the ships were more round and colorful so that would have been interesting to see them have more "weight" and realistic feel to them instead of the CGI cartoony looking ones.
-
Thanks for the name, I couldn't remember it. Sifo-Dyas, that's the one. I think they could do some interesting stuff on him. Who was he with? Was he a master or apprentace? or was he tricked into it? Could he have possibly been Palpatine's master? And that was just his Jedi name? 10 years before AOTC was about the time Palpatine started to take control in the Phantom Menace.

Will never exist in the theaters people. Books have been written to 30 some years after New Hope. Also there's the Legacy series which is about Skywalkers grandchildren or something. Point is, if they want to keep continuity they can't really make 3 new movies about the Skywalkers/Solos cause it's all been done. Who wants to see Luke and Han at 70 years getting in blaster fights. That would be like seeing a 65 year old Indiana Jones in action..... oh.
-
But we'll see, I like the idea of them making it when the times right. I don't read any of the books but I've heard Lucas doesn't really follow them or at least they are inconsistant with the PT. I'm not 100% about that though.
-
I do not (and never have, I'm pretty sure) made any sweeping statements about failure regarding the star wars prequels, but the films certainly failed to entertain me. Mainly because of the wooden acting, poor writing, and dull plot that you mention. That said, I do find all this back-and-forth on the internets to be kinda entertaining. So thank you, Mr. Lucas. You have (undoubtedly inadvertently) created a corpus of web-based commentary that Systemsbroom can kill time reading.
-
No matter what you thing it's pretty amazing how many people have an opinion on these movies.
-
A lot of the ships like the Clone Troop transports were models.
-
Actually...it could be possible to make Episodes 7, 8 and 9 using the OT actors...why? Look at Beowulf. It would not surprise if sometime in the future Lucas would get Hamill, Fisher and Ford to do a series based on EU books, comics, or he could come up with some story that fits into the timeline. Afterall, if they can make Ray Winstone look like the ultimate, ripped badass that he was in "Beowulf" than I would say just about anything is possible in this day an age lol
-
Why not? I think it would be a lot better than Clone Wars stuff. Or if the Clone Wars stuff is really taken well then move on to new territory 7 8 9. All totally CGI Beowulf style.
-
I really like the look of the Clone Wars at least the stuff I've seen so far.
-
fucking awesome. The only thing I"m worried about is Anakin's padawan, which doesn't really seem to fit into the continuity of the rest of the universe. Some of the shots in the trailers/previews are unbelievably amazing. Check out the cool new "Introducing the Clone Wars" video on starwars.com
-
I really hope they don't make Episode 7/8/9. That era is intricately covered by novels and comics, and everything just sotra spirals into shit and loses the star wars feel. The understanding that I got from the movies was that Anakin's redemption brought balance to the force (whatever thats supposed to mean) and brought peace to the galaxy, so there should be no stories left to tell after ROTJ. To make a good Ep 7/8/9 the entire post ROTJ era would have to be reimagined..which would piss off a lot of uber fans.

A year ago, Paglia drew the ire of many a cineaste by declaring Lucas's sextet the most laudable cinematic achievement post-Godfather. Fierce a critic as I am of Return of the Jedi and Attack of the Clones, I do wonder how these six films will be perceived by future generations. It is possible Lucas will have the last laugh.

Termigoonie,
I have to disagree with you that SW was always made for kids. When SW came out in 1977, it was geared towards teenagers, as they marketed it at Comic-Con, which was NOT geared towards kids under 10. What happened was kids under 10 like myself fell in love with the movie. Empire was also NOT made for kids, as that is a very adult sci-fi movie, and I would ask you what kid under 10 even knows why Luke fails at the cave? I was there as an 8 year old kid in 1980, and did not like it, as it was too dark for me. Jedi was the first movie geared toward kids, and you can see that Lucas was going for merchandising, rather then quality with the Ewoks, and it shows. The Prequels were also geared towards kids too, as Jar Jar Binks is a perfect example of sophmoric humor that is made for 5 year olds. Putting that all aside, what are considered by the majority the only really great Star Wars movies: A New Hope and Empire, and the rest are kinda enjoyed by the fanboys and diehards. What a coincidence that the ones that aren't soley geared for kids under 10 seem to be the best... -
If you go to wikipidiea and check out the wookipedia then seach episode 7 you can get all the info on it. I read something from Gary Kurtz that kind of sheds light on what 6 7 8 & 9 were supposed to be. It was pretty cool. Anyway 7 8 9 are really a childhood fantasy of mine and I understand how the saga is complete but part of me really still wants to see a trilogy about Luke passing the tourch and rebuilding the Jedi Order. As for Camille Paglia, I think thats great. As far as I'm concered almost 1/2 way into ROTS it just turns into a really bad ass movie.

So.. I get to pay George Lucas to see this BEFORE I can see it for free on TV?
Sign me up!!!
Maybe I can buy the DVD and use it as a ticket too. Or maybe I can pay George 20 bucks to kick me in the nuts! -
But I think it's going to be a movie then the TV show will start where the movie leaves off. SO what you see in the theater will be differant than what they show on TV.
-
They stated in the European release it is the first few episodes strung together.
Cash-grab -
Check out Jedi Academy trilogy books. Its all about Skywalker rebuilding the Jedi Order... searching for new Jedi... and the galaxy's reaction to the rebuilding. Will a new Jedi Order possibly mean a new Anakin/Darth Vader? Not a bad series, possibly that could be turned into eps 7-9. Personally, I think there are better books or comics to turn into movies though.
-
Sounds good I'll check it out.
-
Why didn't George focus on the Clone Wars itself in the prequels? Unfortunately it looks like George realized he could milk this period forever with tv shows, movies, books, etc. We could have had a decent Episodes I & II if they would have focused on the war.
-
When Hasbro announced it last November. C'mon- get with it AICN
