It’s so strange to me to see people already starting with the extreme pessimism about the new Bond film. Did they learn nothing from the idiotic anti-Craig campaign last time around? There’s something interesting going on with the Bond series right now, and until they actually do fuck it up, why not hope they’re going to give us a worthy follow-up to CASINO ROYALE?

I’d rather spend the next year curious and hopeful than complaining constantly over things I have no context for. I haven’t seen the script for this one (although of course I’m curious as hell), so I’m not sure what the sequence is that this spy refers to.

Anyone have a clue?

long time reader, first time contributor as it is said. I don't know if it qualifies as news, let alone cool news, but austrian media is pretty hyped about this, so i thought i'd let you know, if you don't already:

parts of the new bond will be shot from april 30th to may 9th in bregenz in austria. the location will be the seebühne, a huge stage in a lake. apparently the scenes shot will play in front- and backstage of a performance of the opera tosca by puccini. the stage looks like this:

1500 extras have been casted as audience. apparently there will also be scenes shot in the festspielhaus, another cultural hotspot in bregenz. contracts are said to be signed between the city and EON Productions
