FIRST MOTHERFUCKERS!
-
Cause I'm not connecting to jack.
-
I guess considering the demographic it does look pretty cool. In general, though, it looks like Wolverine is being made into too much of a hero, like in X3. We all know how bad that was...
I'll be skeptical until I actually watch some of it. Could be good, could suck. We'll see. -
I can't seem to access it right now, but I had already seen it earlier, so...
-
I love the Foo Fighters and the X-Men so I would really like to see this. Soon.
-
BOO :(
-
I've long been bored to death with the X-Men, but that trailer actually made me interested again. I'm glad to see characters going through some actual change, including Wolverine.
-
Hmm...looked decent. The animation might be a bit choppy, but that trailer didn't give any clear indication of the movements....Marvel's cartoons have never really WOWed me. Not like WOW...which I should go play. HAHHA
-
IMDB doesnt say
-
and takes 5-6 tries.
-
Got it to work. And it looks pretty good. I do think the use of Foo Fighters makes it look even better than it might actually be but I still want to see it.
-
Great, one more thing to see Wolverine in. Go ahead Marvel, put him in everything, he isn't even close to being over-exposed. Three X-men movies focused mainly on him, he is in every damn comic Marvel puts out, and is getting his own movie. Marvel, you do realize you have a few other characters people like, right?
-
From what i can see it looks like they are developing the story line that got the x-men to their peak in the mid-nineties. There are sure to be a few changes in the maturity level of the story arc if they look at the neilson demographics and find that they are tracking well with the older crowd ie: ME! If they can live up to or even exceed the nineties X-men cartoon i'll sit on my geeky ass and watch it.
-
foo fighters really made this trailer terrible. It looks kind of interesting, but I'm looking forward mostly to the new Justice League DVD.
-
X-Men peaked in the 80s, man. The nineties was the trembling spasms of their lingering death.
-
DEATH, WHAT DEATH? THE XMEN NEVER DIED, HOMESLICE!!! PEOPLE NEED TO STOP HATING ON WOLVERINE...MARVEL KNOWS WHERE THE MONEYS AT, AND ITS ON WOLVERINE!!
-
And speaking of shit, I hope they don't push the Cyclops/White Queen romance. Other than that...and the lack of Colossus, it looks cool...assuming how much you can stomach Wolverine as "leader".
-
And pretty sweet. Much better then the "X-Men:Evolution" crap they threw out between X-men and X-2.
-
I'm actually kinda tired of the 30 years of angst... Nice to see the guy get his shit together instead of whining about stuff that's decades old and no longer important to anybody.
-
Did you see some of the later episodes, including the Apocalypse finale? Good stuff.
-
...you're ditching what made the character, and are pushing Cyclops, the character that nearly every majo storyline revolved around even further to the side.
-
Suck on that True believers!
-
..and while Wolverine was a big part of the team, he was still a member of a TEAM. For once I'd like on X-men film/show to focus on other members instead of Wolverine. Last I heard Wolverine wasn't the only mutant running around.
-
Please?
-
means more boring
-
...an even crappier version of Justice League. Whoopee.
-
The link worked for me, but it was slow. I liked it, would love to see a balls out, adult X-men cartoon, adult in themes..not in porno...well..no..not porno.
I have the Ultimate Avengers II, that was good..and I loved the 90's cartoon as well..and I dig Batman Beyond..so I may check this out if I see it available, or the wifey snags it up for me at work (awww yeah, gotta love a wife in 'the business....freebies!!)

The man you brought you Batman the Animated series, only the best cartoon on TV!
-
sevendust right at the beginning and soundgarden in between the two foo songs
-
...had the SEXIEST version of Rogue ever.
-
That site's very slow for me, but looks like there's also:

Animation looks like X-Men: Evolution, and that's a good thing for sure. This looks like an improvement: wish that show hadn't been set in a high-school era... not that I have any sense of shame when it comes to comic-based toons :P . Speaking of which, I think Herc deliberately left The Amazing Spider-Man off his premiers list... March 1! -
and by that I mean discusing group dynamics in a fictional world. I can see the Avengers disbanding but not the X-men. They're like a family almost and I don't see them ever abandoning each other. And to tell you the truth, I really hate the archetype of the "gone-from-the-glory-days-but-we're-rejoining-to-try-to-capture-some-of-that-faded-stardust" story. Like in GhostBusters II, just wasn't as good as the first.
-
Come on, Wolverine is support to be a short dude. Like, shorter than me! He's only like 5'1".
-
I like that even though Wolverine's name is in the title the rest of the X-Men don't seem to get downplayed too much. I could've cared less when I first heard about this, especially after the terrible Fantastic Four series on Cartoon Network and that horrible Spider-Man series on MTV. Now I'm interested.
-
I need support with my writing.
-
THAT'S FUCKIN' WOLVERINE! Cranky, direct, no screwin' around. I'll see this just because of that one line.
-
Why can't the art look like this for Spectacular Spider-man? The art for that show is disgusting! That's going to be The Batmanesque over rated garbage but this THIS I'll watch. I think Wolverine has a good voice that reminds me of 90's Logan. It looks like X-men Evolution but I can tell it will be better then it. But we'll see how much better.
-
Though I don't dispute that it's very badass and very Wolverine -- X-Men dialog about mutants can sound very funny out of context, and I happen to be the proud owner of a small .wav collection of unintentionally funny lines about mutants from the 90s cartoon. "You were elected to protect us from mutants!" "Help us... to fulfill my dream... working for a better future for all... mutant and human alike." "It's true. I *am* a mutant." And many more. Looking forward to grabbing some more when this starts up, heh heh.
-
I actually don't think the art is great but it is watchable and something I can get used to.
-
did we watch the same trailer? I didn't see Emma Frost putting on lipstick or Forge getting tortured...
-
My god, why couldn't that have been in one of the movies?
That is great. -
it didn't exactly fit the feel of the show. Let's hope there aren't too many pop songs in the actual episodes. Other than that I'm hoping for something better than The Batman. Ever since Justice League went off the air superhero cartoons have been pretty shitty.
-
When will they learn to put Peter on the team right from the start? They always dick around and introduce him way into the series. More of him in X-Men 3 could have saved that train wreck. Him and the Juggernaut going at it would have been classic.
-
Sounds like a total misunderstanding of the characters in X-men.
It'll have a higher FAIL content than joe quesada's record with women. Man he's ugly. -
Isn't she supposed to be in this. Where was she?
-
...next on Naruto...
-
was that that trailer was more kickass and true to the characters than the entirety of X3. I love that it showed an actual story arc and this wasn't just an 'adventures of'. And that it was a well-rounded selection of characters (points for Domino!). I loved the "your son's a mutant. Deal with it" line. And Cyclops blasting Wolverine out of his apartment. Not quite as good as the bedroom scene in Astonishing. But still pretty cool for kids. This may be the first Marvel show for kids in the last 10 years I might actually watch. Couldn't stomach the cg Spiderman and FF cartoons, which were way too dumbed down.
-
I'm not seeing the video anywhere. Is this how aintitcool treats it's readers? Sheesh.
-

pull the space out of course...works fine and the video is actually there as of 2/5. -
Wall-to-wall action, Scott despondent and useless without Jean, Brotherhood vs. X-Men vs. mankind, Xavier apparently blasted to hell, one of the X-Men joins the Brotherhood... You can't claim to love one while hating the other, especially when this cartoon has so obviously ripped off so much from the last film. Just like the whole "You're son's gay/a mutant" thing was stolen from X2.
-
Jesus Christ. I think we need to get the guy who did the Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network (Gennedy Tartarofsky? Something like that?) to make an X-Men animated series. THAT would be cool. This seems just like that X-Men: Evolution show from a few years back, except somehow worse.
-
ck it out at www.collider.com
-
sorry, but I certainly can like one and hate the other. Watch me. Sure, some of the major beats are the same, but Wolverine's confrontation with Cyclops in that trailer had way more emotional resonance and was more true to the characters than X3, which totally wasted Scott as a character, wussified Wolverine, and rushed over every chance to make the story count for something. This just looks like better writing than X3, period. Like these guys actually read an X-Men comic.
-
Domino, Quicksilver, Blob (the real one, not some visual joke), a Rogue that actually matters to the plot. Need I go on?
-
The fact that they haven't milked the HELL out of the Woverine character for like the past 25 years of my life. Jeez...
-
But my 11 year old might like it.
-
had to go to youtube, no trailer at the link. Kind of liked the idea of Wolverine being the one to get the team back together. Nice change of pace. I'm not getting my hopes up, but as a long time x-fan there are still a lot of things I want to see that hasn't made it in the movies or cartoons yet.
