WALL*E has a specially made for the Super Bowl Spot - and it is the CUTE!!!

Published at:  Feb 03, 2008 7:51:59 PM CST

Hey folks, Harry here - loving the fucking defense of the New York Giants! But inbetween the awesome play of the New York Giants - making THE GREATEST TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME look... meh... was this spot from WALL*E and Pixar. If you didn't know. This is going to be the film that you remember as being the film you saw in 2008, for the rest of your life. It will be mind-blowing and soul-affirming. And I can not count the seconds till it plays. I just hope I get to do a big special Kids Klub / Fantastic Fest event for it here in Austin. If only so I can see it that much sooner.

Echoes of Short Circuit/Silent Running but still fabulous..!

    by workshed

Saw the second teaser trailer on the big screen and it looked THE BUSINESS. I predicted at that moment that it would be the biggest film of the year without question. My four-year old daughter is already in love with WALL-E. Hats off to Pixar - it looks like they've done it again.

    It wasn't THAT cute

I was hoping for more of Woody and Buzz on the couch.
If this robot is Wall-E, does that mean there are Wall-A through D robots out there?

    Damn it...

    by bizarrojerry

The Pats lost it cuz for some reason, they just could not get to Manning. Other than that, I'm still wondering what the hell happened. Note, I feel no need to insult the Giants. By the way, aside from the fact my team didn't win, wasn't it kind of a boring game? Even the Giants didn't look that great. No spectacularly bad or good player from either team.

I have no anticipation for this movie.

The movie better be at least 10 times better than these crappy ads!

    The Giants won

    by moondoggy2u

Because their defense ran roughshod over the Pats offense; the Pats couldn't counter the blitzes. The pats deffense, on the other hand, was playing pretty usual. Remember, until the very end, the Patriots kept the Giants down to 3. In the end, its simple math. Thanks to their defense blitzing the quarterback throughout the night, the giants had a slew of chances to score whereas the patriots very rarely got into giants territory. Defense wins games, people.

no spectacular plays!? How bout when Manning scrambled out of the cluster fuck when they were trying to sack him and through it to tyre and tyre caught it with his head for the first down?

    bizarro

    by moondoggy2u

I think you're probably one of those newer football fans, the ones that were raised on high power offenses. Well, this here was real smashmouth football, where both teams weren't budging and just slogging it out. Combine that with quite a few good plays and the fact that the Giants were the underdog of underdogs and you've got yourself one of the best games in Superbowl history--certainly the best one I've ever seen.

Also, how many 3rd down conversions

    by moondoggy2u

did eli make? I lost count, bizarro, and thats a whole lot of drama right there. No, halftime notwithstanding, this was one of the best games ever.

American Football is crap. Move on.

    by performingmonkey

I like movies, not football. Go fuck your fathers...oh you already did. Daddy's special boy. Maybe if you go to the game with him he'll put it in before bed, if you're lucky.... lol, I'm just messin'. I just hate football.

    Drone 2 from Silent Running

    by abominable snowcone

aka "Duey," would kick Wall-Es ass. Nothing can beat a double-amputee actor stuffed inside a robot costume. Do a wiki on it, there's photos.

To all the "stop using Brazil Theme" idiots

    by arcadiands

Its not "The Theme From Brazil" you dumbassed slack-jawwed idiots.
The movie Brazil scalped that song for its theme, too. Try putting your brain-hat on once in a while. It might make your posts be less stupid.

    by ninja nerd

You should have asked all of "expert" TBer's bitching about the tune to name even ONE movie ro show the song ORIGINALLY appeared in. OR put the bong down and realize that Visa "ripped it off" 6-8 months ago....well before Pixar cut the sound for the Wall-E trailer.

    DL-Solution: IE&Firefox-Plugin DLHelper

    by betasword

Well, using Downloadhelper let's you DL the MySpace-Video quite easily, just Copy&paste the URL of the Fullscreen into Firefox, let it load, and watch for the Plugin-Animation to occur, then You're ready to go, just hit the Lower flv-line, then you're saving iton yout PC in a pretty fair Quality with a Size of just 3250KB.
oh, BTW: i used the Trailer from
    http://tinyurl.com/326qfn
that i opened in IE, then on the 3rd Quarter, Fullscreen.
At my IE-Popup with the fullscreen, i got that really huge URL
, copy&paste that line into Firefox with DLHelper, then it should be downloadable on the 2nd link as a .flv.
Pretty much work, but luckily, it works.

    by finky089

  • Feb 04, 2008 8:09:11 PM CST

finky089, toy story 3 is coming june 18,2010..

    by jig98

after the other 2 toy stories are re-released in 3-d starting next october. as for that wall-e spot, midly amusing but i think it could turn out to be the lesser of the pixar films because usually films that solely rely on one goofy charector, it never turns out so well for the entire final product. good to see woody and buzz again though.
