Looks sweet, big fan of C.S. Lewis am I.
-
They're coming right out at the beginning and saying, "we've grown balls." Nice.
-
or completely fucking awful in ways only Satan can imagine? I'm open-minded... it could be either.
-
I look forward to this series.. Going to be a good year for movie fans
-
Hope this flick will be a bit more authentic then the ok Wardrobe.
-
Can I get a sneak peek at the final score of the Super Bowl? Because I have 8-6 in my squares. Oh, and this looks pretty good. Caspian was my second fav of the books when I was a kid and yet I remember none of it for some reason. That should help me going into this movie fresh.
-
...you won't like the movies, plain and simple. I thought the first one was very faithful to the tone of the books and this one looks like more of the same. These are whimsical and charming children's tales at their coreānot hack-and-slash fantasy epics.
-
that's a nice looking spot right there
-
So cuddly. Can't they just use a real one and green screen it in? Chewbacca is scarier than that.
-
and kiss that $5 goodbye... Better luck next time.
-
Sancho
-
Kids fighting weird monsters.
-
I think they sang a song about this?
-
Patriots: 40 Giants: 21 It will probably be relatively close 'til the fourth quarter. Shame no talkback for the game!!!
-
Looks bad, just like the first movie. It was bad. Gives fantasy a bad name and i love the stuff.
-
a centaur and a minotaur. *nods* Sure, I haven't read the books...but come on, RUMBLE!
-
Don't show anything different...unimpressed
-
He taped the Rams last practice before the Super Bowl in 2001. Classy. Sorry New England. Your legacy has dynasty has been tarnished. Even if you win tomorrow you are going to lose in the end when all this stuff comes out over the next couple of years. Enjoy it now i guess but the writing is on the wall. Ps they are going to lose tomorrow. Karma gonna break them.
-
I want Richard Dawkins to proclaim war on these movies.
-
sorry but never cared about this faggy narnia shit
-
Only the Patriots were caught and everybody hates them dor being better. If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying to win. The enemy deserves no mercy FTW!
-
they are showing the monster just a bit. trying to get people back into the theater that think there's no monster? interesting. oh yeah... narnia bites the big one. sugar coated christian propaganda fantasy. patriots 34 giants 24
-
but from this trailer I'm assuming the books are packed from cover-to-cover with huge, bloody, epic "Lord of the Rings"-style battles. Fantastic! Btw what's with those kids? I'm assuming they've only got small roles.
-
Couldn't stop myself. BTW, no less an authority as John Madden said that he didn't bother taping signals because it didn't help anything. I still don't know what the big fuss is about. Pats broke a rule, lost their 15 yards and the game goes on. Except for the crybabys...
-
Dawkins is a complete genius, but more often than not ends up on the defensive. If you want a fun time I suggest you get Hitchens to do the dirty work.
-
Whatta world. Cant we at least inspire 2b honest. Our race is doomed. ^o^
-
Is he riding a huge Fuck Off Horse somewhere?
-
That's what they want us to think anyway. The trailer, the one-sheet, the young Aragorn-lite Caspian. Sadly Prince Caspian is the worst Narnia book, hardly anything happens in it, so they have invented a LOT to fill up the movie, including yet another generic siege/battle sequence that we've seen time and time again. I'm tired of these huge CG sequences. It was quite good in Kingdom of Heaven, but usually they just turn into an excuse for the 'animators' to go apeshit crazy. Caspian will end up feeling like the stopgap Narnia movie before the more interesting ones (Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair) kick in. They're making Dawn Treader already, I believe, but it will surprise me if they actually make The Silver Chair or any of the others. They should combine The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle into one movie. They are about the birth and death of Narnia so it would be good to see that happen in one movie (then they could cut out all the bullshit suckage involving the ape in The Last Battle)
-
Looking forward to this but come on! Recutting the original trailer and not adding anything new is a fucken joke. Just like Fred Durst's life.
-
First of all, she doesn't think there's evil blondes in movies...I think she doesn't watch movies much because all she's doing is reinforcing a stereotype. Secondly, she acted more like she wanted a Midol in that film than being evil. I was in a "Narnia" play and the girl playing Jadis was MUCH better. Also, I still want to fuck Ben Barnes.
-
i expect that from every movie i see.
-
And I liked the first one quite a bit. At this point the hate for TLTW&TW is bandwagon jumping. It's really not that bad. It's not perfect, but it's definitely an enjoyable film. It's easy to watch and can be viewed by all ages.
-
It's called Christian because C.S. Lewis designed these stories as a Christian allegory. Wasn't a secret.
-
As long as we're making predictions. Some wishful thinking there but stranger things have happened...
-
lame
-
Until they turned into the Bee Gees
-
I wish just once that the people who put together the trailers would skip the cliche choral music. Like every adventure movie is high opera or something.
-
but there'll be like one big action sequence and the rest shot in tiny rooms like the first one.
-
People who bitch about sequels and movies going too "dark" may have merit, but I totally dig it. I'd rather see darker versions of stories like Batman, Bond than fucking over-the-top fun loving family fares. Obviously this is gonna be for the families but darker is better. No more 6 year old bitch pulling off a sheet of a wardrobe and going in to have tea with Mr. Rapist Fawn.
Nope, now we get slightly older kids in a word where there is more "brutality" but still no decapitations, but hopefully they can step it up from last time, I mean the first movie did have a lion eating a ladies fucking face, lets see something more intense this time around.
Also, good news, from the looks of it, Disney actually has some confidence in this one and is giving them some actually good CGI artists because the first movie's cgi really pissed me off.
-
Now I'm gonna go! Thanks Quint!
-
Will he be portrayed as "almost to pretty to be a boy"
Will he be 'a chap who would do anything... absolutely anything?"
Will Susan and Lucy agree that they would not feel "safe" around Bacchus if they had not met him in Aslan's company?
Will there be Maenads?
And most importantly...
WILL IT BE A ROMP, ASLAN?
-
...seriously.
http://icanhascheezburger.com/2008/02/02/funny-pictures-white-wich/
(please fill the gaps)
-
because after the first movie, we got enough momentum to leave the family shit behind and go for some LOTR bucks." (Won't work.)
-
so I'm not really expecting to see this one.
-
It looks like LOTR for kids. Big CGI battle mean nothing to me anymore......we have seen it all before
-
That was for you, Quint. And now, Los Naked Mariachis.
-
is an Indy SuperBowl trailer!!!!Ain't gettin' it though, cuz Paramount's scheduled to air Iron Man..C'mon Spielberg, give us more than random stills....
-
He addressed the very thing because it's the same conclusion many came to, not just me. Obviously, Christianity is firmly in mind as C.S. Lewis states "I don't say. 'Let us represent Christ as Aslan.' I say, 'Supposing there was a world like Narnia, and supposing, like ours, it needed redemption, let us imagine what sort of Incarnation and Passion and Resurrection Christ would have there.'" His Christian beliefs heavily influence this story. Just because Aslan is a "supposal" instead of an "allegory" (in C.S. Lewis terminology) does not diminish the Christian message in the stories in a significant way. Indeed C.S. Lewis started out as an atheist (though raised in the Church) and ended up a Christian, writing such books as Mere Christianity, The Problem of Pain, The Great Divorce, and The Screwtape Letters.
-
And you have once again failed to prove how the movie is not based on Christianity. Bye bye.
-
Yeah, it's sad, but I'm just repeating what Pete Rose told me. When you've got grown men playing a game worth millions of dollars, there's no such thing as a fair fight...
-
Compass is way better than than Narnia. I don't understand the negativity for the film. I enjoyed it a lot. Sets up the sequel perfectly. I really hope they get the greenlight for the sequel.
-
I don't know about this Narnia BS, but The Golden Compass was terribly boring (although it was the first movie to show a polar bear drinking whiskey from a bucket).
-
"I am Prince Caspian!" No, you're Enrique Iglesias.
-
play the Rugby. But is Walter Payton, Payton Mannings Father?
-
NO IT WON'T. FUCK. OFF. That tagline is just a blatant lie. It may as well read..."Watch this film and you'll win the lottery'
-
made me laugh hella
