Harry adopted one of the Sisters Kane at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors in Austin!

Hey folks, Harry here... Adoption is a serious consideration... and usually not the sort of thing that happens at a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, but then I've never been particularly usual... and neither was the adoption I made. On Friday, as I first made my way through the Dealers and Autograph hall - a child caught my eye, and her big sister - Christy Kane told me about her book and how she was working with the Chiodo Brothers on a film. Over the course of the weekend, I found myself growing more and more fond of Tallullah Kane. Some, cynical people, would look at Tallullah and see her as a doll, but to me... Tallullah was introduced to me as a girl that dreamt of being a flower, so she planted herself in the Garden. I had to take this enchanting child/doll/flower home. I couldn't fathom allowing her to possibly wilt or not feel love everyday. So - I signed the adoption papers and paid the processing fee - and took her home for me and my wife. Here she is taking a photo with her more animated sister Kane, Christy Kane and myself.

Now - I know you're wondering... Why is Harry talking about a doll he "adopted" at FANGORIA'S WEEKEND OF HORRORS. It's really quite simple. Christy Kane isn't just someone that is making some fame for her sisters, but is a creative force with extraordinary wit and charm. Her book, TALES OF THE SISTERS KANE, put out by Baby Tattoo Books

In this book you can read the legends, tales and poetic origins and lives of the Sisters Kane. And it is this book, that is being transformed by Christy Kane and the Chiodo Brothers into a series of shorts that are coming to DVD. You can find out more at ChristyKane.Com and you can see a trailer for one of these shorts right below. I can't recommend picking up this book enough, it's such a great legend about these sisters. Tallullah Kane isn't in there, as her story has yet to be shared with the outside world, but I can tell you a bit about her here at Castle Knowles. She has become close close friends with the demon from Curse of the Demon. Massaging his temples and soothing the soul of a hellbent Demon. Such a rare flower indeed.
