AICN Exclusive: Check out how gnarly Bill Moseley looks in that Untitled Army Horror flick!
SPOILER ALERT !!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I've talked about this project, still UNTITLED, on this site. It has an interesting director (Jason Connery, son of Bond) and an interesting cast (including Ron Perlman, Ray Winstone, Cuba Gooding Jr., Henry Rollins, Jason London, Taryn Manning and Bill Moseley).
It's a horror flick about a squad of elite soldiers who are put upon a mission to rescue a scientist from an underground laboratory... of course, they encounter an ageless evil.
Although nobody knows the title, I can give you a glimpse at the horrors waiting for the soldiers... in the form of Bill Moseley (good ol' Chop Top himself). Enjoy!

Looks a little EVENT HORIZON (in a good way) and a little EXORCIST 3 to me (also in a good way). What do you folks think?

-
FUCK CUNT!
-
IN BLACKEST DAY, IN BRIGHTEST NIGHT.
-
What the fuck?
-
Iggy Pop will always own life and death, his music transcends existance. Fuck off.
-
What a ripoff.
-
Great documentary!
-
He'd better clean and cover that fucking wound or he'll get MRSA.
-
and Exorcist: The Beginning.
-
Yes, it is very much possible seeing as Shrader's odious effort is beyond horrible.
And damn you, drwilliamweir, for beating me to the Event Horizon jokes. I guess where you're going, you really don't eyes to see... -
I quite liked The Heretic and 3. Is Linda Blair in them?
-
It's a bit, well, poo. Mostly because of the cenobite nonsense in it, and world renowned paleontologist Sam Neill pulling his own eyes out.
-
I waited until I had both Dominion and Beginning on DVD. I wanted to watch them back-to-back for maximum effect. My plan was to watch Dominion first, to enjoy a good movie, and Beginning last just to savor the tasteless stupidity of the studio.
Dominion turned out to suck the chrome from a trailer hook. It was so bad that I actually dreaded seeing Beginning, having heard how awful it was.
Guess what?
Beginning was every bit as tasteless and stupid as I expected, but it was much more enjoyable to watch. Dominion was simply heinous in every regard, whereas Beginning was an enjoyably shitty six-pack cheesefest. -
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. I'm not even making sense.
-
You tend to be generally right about this stuff. BTW I watched Slither for the first time, and it isn't enjoyably shit. It's just shit. Goes to prove what an absolute cunt memories is. He tries to name an enjoyable cheesefest and manages to pick a high-production value oad of rectal discharge. It makes me want to slap him. In other news: Linda Blair needs more work. Remake Heretic- and recast her in the role
-
High production value LOAD of RECTAL discharge. I need a new keyboard. This one's fucked.
-
stop with the fkn crosses. start using ankhs or something, you fkrs.
-
But does he have evil minions?
-
..looks pretty creepy..i want him to move clumsy-like but with a sense of purpose..like the first experimental zombie in "Return of the Living Dead-Part III"..(the one that ate those 2 scientist before he got it between the eyes with the ice bullet)
-
Cuba Goodning Jr.? man, doesn't smell good
-
course he does. You ain't nothing without your minions. And all self-respecting evil scientists have disposable henchmen as well.
-
gots to be
-
Robin of Sherwood. Nuff said.
Also, that kind of cast (Cuba aside) wouldn't be interested if it was total shit...surely? -
Both Dominion and The Beginning are excellent. Dominion moreso, but they both have their plus and minuses. Seeing them together makes the most sense, and gives the feel of a biblical tale, with different viewpoints of the same story. Unlike Doc Pazuzu, I recommend watching The Beginning first.
-
Both sucked so hard it hurt. Why is so hard to make a decent devil possesed movie? You would think the formula was layed out by that little film that came out in 1973 with Linda Blair.
For a good laugh, I suggest the exco-rip off from Italy "Beyond the Door". Good Times/ -
That was a cool WWII NAZI`s get slaughtered by old evil movie!Michael Mann could remake it himself like HEAT.Does anybody remember The Keep?
-
That's right, I used the word "awesome".
-
See what I did there? Both my headlines are the same but I moved the words around. That's how clever I am!
-
I may be hedging a bet its like Wolfenstein. Main Character named BJ Blaskowitz?
-
I think is possibly one of the most under rated movies of all time. great flick.
-
It's Voltron.
-
Do i get extra points for using spanish?
-
It wasn't the shitfest I'd been led to expect. Silly, not very frightening but watchable. The main thing it lacks is any sense of atmosphere and the ending is a silly demon smack down. Why would something evil enough to kill when it's strapped to a bed decided to run about like a crack addict for ten minutes. Oh and Untitled Army Horror Flick looks all too familiar.
-
a sequel to Alien Nation?
Dude looks like he OD'd on that liquid drano alien drug. -
Damn, I miss working on those kinds of films! They had heart and soul.
-
And that new gif is freaking me the fuck out. IT was the first film to make me shit myself with fear (I was about 10 at the time).
-
I agree completely, Jarv. I'd been hearing so many good things about it, such as it being a true-blue throwback to 80s carnage, but it was complete crap - in all the bad ways.
I do recommend seeing both Dominion and Beginning, if for no other reason than the surreal experience of seeing two different versions of the "same" movie. It doesn't really matter in what order, but I'd be interested to hear what you think of Dominion. -
Amen, brother. Extremely underrated even if the ending jumps the tracks, much like Event Horizon.
There are some things in Exorcist III which still creep me the fuck out, like Brad Dourif's monologue and the hospital corridor scene. -
based onthe title of this article, I woulda sworn....
-
video diary on the DVD. The film was an absolute load of horseshit
-
I see a cross.
-
Did the MegaForce DVD arrive yet?
-
I can't wait. And did you see the banner ad for Highlander: The Source that AICN has had up all week- they're obviously copying the TB. We must be important. In other news, memories wasn't banned- he was just turfed from the TB and his posts were deleted. The odious little cockmonkey has resurfaced in the SR TB, and proceeded to post complete drivel- even by his usual standards.
-
Bill Moseley is a great guy I had the chance to meet a few months back. I've really enjoyed his movies and I hope directors start hounding him soon b/c he deserves some bigger movies that are not Rob Zombie films.
-
I wish I had seen the stuff that got him zapped. The last time I saw him in a TB he had posted what seemed like eight or nine consecutive reams of gibberish which I didn't even bother reading, so whatever he posted, it must have been something special.
And what's the deal with bannings on AICN these days? How can that evil Nazi ghoul, Silverfinger, keep coming back using the same name when Mr. Nice Gaius is still locked out?
FREE MR. NICE GAIUS!!! -
...for my MegaForce DVD. Good-bye bootleg, hello the world's fruitiest elite fighting force in crisp, clear anamorphic widescreen!
-
For some reason, when I look at this picture, my pee-pee gets rigor mortis.
-
that's right. I said "awesome".
-
"Schindler's List" but, of course, in a good way.
-
It's ridiculous that the TB gets clogged with idiots like M-O-M, Silverfinger, AnimalStructure (and even Anchorite seems to have gone off the rails nowadays), and poor old MNG is suffering a psuedoban. Just FYI Silvernazi went back and posted some more shite about egyptians after everyone else had left the thread.
-
Sounds like a role for Jeffrey Combs to me!! Just rewatched From Beyond last night, and that pic looks a little like the bald Combs, even with the pineal gland hole in the forehead.
-
and it almost got me going again! But it`s not worth it(still have some RAGE in me from last time)!I thought Mr.Nice Gaius had a tech problem?I got some trouble with my Firefox too,and as I did some research,I met some people who could not LOG on their password websites because of the Firefox. There is a fix for it on the Firefox site.
-
I got pseudobanned once. all my posts got deleted. then moriarty reinstated me. apparently an error.

Reminds me of Equilibrium (In a this also looks shitty way)
by skeletonparty
Equilibrium was the crappiest movie I've seen in years. It was worse than Hammerhead.
-
but my penis is more handsome (also in a good way)
-
wolfenstein to me...although i thought that had a different director attached.
-
If they don't kill the guy in the first reel, he will kill the rest of the film. We need a Seagalogical "Executive Decision" to rescue this film.
-
Elite Army guys, going underground, encountering "an evil force" or something. Hmmm...
-
what a cute baby!!
-
That means it's gonna suck. I'm not saying that Cuba is gonna ruin it, just that he would've walked away from it if it had a chance of being any good.
-
No. He should finish his edit and touch it up a bit maybe. Most importantly RELEASE it on DVD already!
-
Jason Connery owned that role.
-
ya gotta Connery-it-up....and..somebody slags Equilibrium, and a shitstorm has not erupted yet??
-
who, upon hearing the name Ray Winstone, immediately pictures Ernie Hudson?I know it's because his character's name in Ghostbusters was "Winston", and Akroyd was "Ray"...I can't get past it. anyone else?
-
Wasn't someone already doing this?
-
how can everyone keep saying this from one grainy ass on set phone picture. i mean, isn't that a measuring tape being pulled past him? and he's obviously in 'off' mode and not in action or acting at the time.
and the immediate allusions to event horizon and exorcist...maybe that isn't a CROSS on his chest, but a crude autopsy kind of thing...i mean, he looks like a reanimated corpse in a science lab to me.
and i guess bullets to the brain don't work.
bill mosley probably just plays zombie #3, not enemy #1 -
it is strange that only one here seems to know it.And an DVD release would be nice!Michael Mann has the power to push it.
-
it has to be
-
Sounds and looks a lot like Escape from Wolfenstein. Now wouldn't THAT be something special?
-
..."fuck me shidewayz, Moneypennah!"
-
That would rock.
-
if not, then it's a damn rip-off.
-
Just look at the Ava Adore video. He'd growl, whine, and miaow you to death.
-
Seriously, I hear BSB is puttin together a posse and rounding up the non-believers.
-
And remind me of that crushing disappointment of a train wreck of a movie?
-
This looks like a perfect rip off of The Men Who Fell, an indie film that hasn't even been released yet. Check out the Japanese trailer here: http://www.transformer.co.jp/products/trailer/video.swf?rootPath=/products/trailer/&videoFile=TMSS_073
or at themenwhofell.com
It even sounds sneakily similar to the descriptions of the plot found on Twitchfilm and CHUD! WTF? -
Aside from Dr. Grant going all eye-pluck... why is it always a gateway to the evil hell dimension? Where's the interdimensional portal to the stripper phantom zone, or the incredibly comfortable chair dimension? I bet those would make better movies, too.
-
freezone!That would be nice!
-
I think he is banned.
-
...next summer will see the release of "Phantom Zone Strippers Vs. Incredibly Comfy Chairs." And after that breaks opening weekend records, "PZSvICC: Reclinining" will be inevitable. Whoever wins... we relax.
-
This was a film with a vaguely similar theme as this but one thing I thought worked was that they kept the situation suitably ambiguous as to whether it was something supernatural or not.
-
That movie was all kinds of fun. If you didn't like it, I feel sorry for you.
-
kinda
-
This years Kurt Russel was laughing so hard
-
Maybe I'm dating myself, it was a show on Showtime, you guys know the one I'm talking about? Right.
-
I was going to say that. Anyway, perhaps the soldiers find that the scientist actually has opened a portal to the Comfortable Chair Dimension, and it was so comfortable, that the scientist was driven insane.
-
Why all the hate? because it sucks. and Anchorite- you've gone off the rails with your increasingly hysterical "Hollywood hates America" stance that you have been polluting every TB with. Now if you had been spreading the word about Bears, Crappy films, Warwick Davies, or Faming Leg Kicks that would have been completely logical well balanced behaviour.
-
stupid broken keyboard. And me not proofreading, obviously
-
being kind, however with a cast like that I'll have to see it. Although last time I saw a movie just for Ron Perlman I got hosed. I think it was called the Woodcutter (it went through at least 1 title change). It had Danny Glover, Linda Hamilton, and I figured it would be a good drama. It just dragged in the worst way. I love the actors, but I was truly disappointed.
-
This sounds like that videogame... or something veeery similar...
-
had to jump on the bandwagon.
But seriously, these plots are flawed simply because you've got an armed group of trained elites against some braindead monster things. Really, it should be no contest, but they alllllllllways have to run out of ammo at a critical moment. Then they panic and forget their elite training. What a bunch of bullshit. -
He replaced the far superior Michael Praed in the 3rd season of Robin of Sherwood, also starring coincidentally, Ray Winstone, as Will Scarlett.
PS, Exorcist III is one of the downright creepiest movies ever made . If you haven't ever seen it, I highly recommend you do. -

SkeletonParty, now that I've read through the

talkbacks I'll give you an A for effort for goading me, but it ain't gonna work. You are in the smallest minority. Nuff said.
-
...in a good way...
-
for Lionsgate (direct-to-video). Personally, I enjoyed EVENT HORIZON (Lovecraft in outer space) until it sunk into a HELLRAISER facsimile; there were so many possibilities (hellish recordings of the MIA space vessel) that just weren't explored. Wonder if it was fucked-up in post-production?
-
Seriously, guys, we get it...
-
What?
-
just kidding. It would be great if this was Wolfenstein, zom-bot.
-
Reminds me of Combs in From Beyond.
