There's a new Bond girl! And she's pretty darn cute!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We got a Bond villain announcement yesterday and now we have a Bond girl announcement. Here she is... Her name is Gemma Arterton and she looks like this:
She's been rumored for a while, but the producers just now officially announced her. She plays a character called "Fields." She's pretty nice and is apparently British, so double points for an English accent.

I think it's the eyes. Well she's definitely cute enough and sexy enough to play with Bond. I wish all these gross talkback creeps would quit criticizing her though. Also, cool haircut. They should just keep it like that for the flick, man.

Holy shit, I thought Daniel Craig looked fucking gross shagging Eva Green (who looks like a teenager if you get the makeup off her) but this chick looks even younger. I thought Carice Van Houten was a lot more age appropriate for Craig and that they were stepping in a less gross direction.Bond should always be a 40 year old who bangs hot women in the late twenties early thirties range.

The movie doesn't hit theaters until Thanksgiving. That's ELEVEN MONTHS from now. Figure four months, five tops, for actual filming, and that still leaves another four/five months for editing and scoring. Bond films have historically had very accellerated production schedules.
