But excited for the 8 episodes. Rather 8 now, then have to wait until the summer for them. Also, after last night, Journeyman=Lost, at least in my book. I find the first 13 of both comparable, on a quality level.

Hopefully the eight episodes will piss off the remaining viewers enough that the audience numbers will drop even more. If we're lucky, this show will end up right where it belongs: the trash.

Lost is the best show on TV. It's had tough patches but its mythology is expansive enough to still keep it intersting til now. I have a dream. That dream is to ignore the show for the next 3 years and then buy all the remaining 48 episodes and watch them back to back for 2 days. I have that dream. But that dream would be stupid as someone would almost certainly reveal the island's secret to me by then. So that means I have to play this stupid waiting game episode-to-episode, season-to-season.

There's so much to season 3 that a 1 + minute preview won't touch most of it. But there are things in the preview you might not want to know. Safe bet is watch S3 between now and Jan 31.

Journeyman was really just beginning what you could see would have become a very intricate Lost-like arc but it never really got the chance to get there. Just enough to give you a glimpse of where it was going, which is all the more annoying. I'm torn about Lost coming back, I like the concept, but this idea of stretching 2 seasons worth of great story out over 5 years of mediocracy highlighted with bits of brilliance to make a buck really just pisses me off. sigh... I'll still be watching tho... fammit!

I just can't believe this strike is screwing us over like this. I can only hope that the make the next season 24 eps long and start it in September or October and not 2009. But I will take anything right now and while I don't want a 8 ep DVD box set, I do want to see the 8 eps now and not when the stupid strike ends. Goddamit get back to work writers.

You know you want to see Kate in a three-way with Jack and Sawyer... Don't you? You want to see Sun take it where Sun don't shine. You want to see Hugo get some-- Get ANY-- out of pity alone. I enjoy all the Lost love reverberating from the AICN blue posting rectangles....but this is the same group of forum writers who tend to trash the show unendingly week after week when the show is on...so...remember what its like not to have our Lost for six months before you begin a-moanin' "that Kate wouldn't do that!" or "that was a lame monster sequence"....

I thought the first preview was unreal, this one is even better, by showing the faces of these new threats, by saying some will stay, some will go. Locke taking over as leader since Jack pretty much doomed them, and more flashes of Christian Shepard....I'm extremely excited.

Didn't the producers sign a deal to make the rest of the show only a certain amount of episodes and thus making the seasons shorter to make the show get drawn out for ratings?

...I especially liked seeing Jeremy Davies do his thang. The "Lost" crew managed to nab some pretty good actors for season 4. Also, since it wouldn't be a "Lost" TB without fevered speculation, OMG I THINK I SAW JACK'S DAD!

I love how every season they add a new element to the show to give it a new twist. This season, I'm guessin, will be the boat and why they came to the island. I hope the Others get to that temple or shrine they were heading to. I'd like to see what that's all about. Oh, and the Jacob thing.. amazing This show is genius. Anyone who doesn't like it is just fucking retarded or stupid. They can go back to their cookie-cutter cop/lawyer/doctor shows. ...keeps up the whacked-out, scripts-written-by-writers-doing-shrooms feel it had during the 2nd half of last season. Ya gotta hand it to 'em too, they listen to the fanbase. Remember Nicki and Paolo? Everyone hatted them! And they had them both buried alive! That's when I knew Lost was back after a disappointing 1st half season.

The number 6 has significance...(SPOILER LAND)...That's how many "core" Losties are actually rescued and brought back to society. Some become famous...some become infamous. The the Oceanic 6 make it back and have to deal with the limelight...and their past transgressions. THAT FUCKIN' TRAILER KICKED ASS!! I can't wait.

I want whatever yer smoking, dude. Sure...TPTB at Lost had an idea an extended strike could put a huge wrinkle in the 2008 season...Every show had to deal with that possiblity of the strike's effect. What could they do? They can't make the episodes any faster than they already are. They got 8 done...hoping the negotiations would not break down. They did...and now they just have to wait....just like every show on TV. There was no "plan". Every key actor on Lost has been locked up air tight until Lost is completely OVER. They can't wander of and leave the show without breaking a very costly contract. Michael Emerson hoped to do a play on Broadway after wrapping Season 4....now he can't, cuz he's in "limbo" waiting on the strike and he's contractually obligated to Ben Linus until Lost ends of Locke put's a bullet in his head. There is no conspiracy...Lost will continued...as soon as the strike is over.

That's not Strabo, the one who did a pointless driveby slap but is clearly obsessed with the show. The new posts are from "Strabbo", two B's, in keeping with the typos from people slapping back at Strabo. That said, Strabo's a dumbass, the trailer kicks ass, and i'd rather have eight good eps now than wait for them to get back from the strike, dust off their keyboards and get back to work before getting anything. And remember: The owls are not what they seem!

I'd much prefer they did a straight run through instead of artificially breaking it up with an 8 episode tease... you know everyone's going to be really f'n pissed after episode 8 airs. Having said that, it's by far one of the best hours on the tube and the decision's been made by those !@#$ Suits so I'll enjoy whatever they give us.

When Jack said something like go get him and if he's drunker then me... I think he was referring to he's dead, and in whatever afterlife he's in, he's drunk. That was just a little line to try and trick/convince people that it was still a flashback when it was really a flash forward.

...RATINGS. ABC has NEW episodes of a HIT show. They would be idiots NOT to air them in the all important February sweeps. And the alternative is even worse...delaying the start of Season 4 until AFTER the strike is settled...ABC would have to hold it until November 08 sweeps. Does anyone really want to wait THAT long to get 16 episodes in a row?
