Because it's a brand new, tricked out Ford Mustang that Ford obviously paid millions for them to showcase in this film. If I was the director I would have had some balls and fucked up the car real good. I bet it stays clean like the General Lee after jumping 100 feet in the air, going over a river, landing violently, and colliding with Roscoe's police cruiser - Not a scratch. Maybe a download on Sunday night..... ehh maybe not. I'd rather be watching Empire Strikes Back.

Saw it today, and it really is VERY good. Smith apparently took his role VERY seriously. This is definitley NOT I, Robot. Give it a chance, you'll be presently surprised. I think.

i saw this earlier today and it was great... upon until the third act, when it became mediocre. but the first and second act plus the new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT made it all worth while.

About 55% on Rotten Tomatoes, although I saw a few "fresh" excerpts that seemed to actually pan it. Most praise the Fresh Prince's performance but slam the shitty CGI vampires. IN A $200 MILLION MOVIE. Great job, dickwads!

have to laugh at people that sit on one talkback and post over and over ...do u just hit the refresh button over and over and over , dont get out much ? and for the record gettin your hopes lowered because an internet movie site and multiple reviews said it was bad is lazy at best...most movie reviews are bogus anyways, especially the "official" ones from the papers and such. i read a review for a movie and went to the movie and it was completely different from what i saw..as if the reviewer wasnt paying attention or didnt care ....go see the movie and decide for yourself..and go with an open mind, which most of the talkbackers on these sites dont seem to have...or any mind for that matter....explains why reality shows are so popular and scripted shows are sinking,..no one wants to think , they just want to watch

... the clip stops EXACTLY when the badly done CGI lions enter the frame. Mild Mannered reporter here. Just wanted to give some info: On the BIG screen, even the deer look pretty fake. But remember: This IS the sequence that I consider the worst of the movie, because it was obviously done as a showcase/product placement. It gets way better after that...

Not sure about that one.
The ratings on the site are just a summation/meta-comparison of multiple reviewers' opinions, some professional, some less so. So to suggest a low RT rating is not indicative of anything is the same as saying the information written by movie reviewers is useless. Many do feel that way, I'm sure, but in my experience the site's ratings are helpful (provided one also reads a good number of the opinions). -
is a Ford Shelby Cobra GT500, and for those saying how did he get it detailed...blah,blah,blah weak attempts at humor etc. the car comes that way, so he found that supremely badass car and claimed it, can't say I blame him, although I prefer the color combo I have, black with tungsten racing stripes
ford does do an extreme amount of product placement but at least this is a sweet car in my opinion (which is totally biased) -
