BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9 Attendees - Today Is The Final Day To Buy or Arrange To Buy Tickets!!!

Published at:  Dec 01, 2007 2:34:50 AM CST

Hey folks, Harry here... I'm still programming and arranging for goodies to give away at this year's BUTT-NUMB-A-THON. It's a gargantuan task, always filled with surprises, adversity and occasional miracles and triumphs. But one of the things that I'm always keeping my eye on is the AUDIENCE. There's a ton of people that want IN on BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9 and well, today - DECEMBER 1st - is the last day to buy or arrange to buy tickets for BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9.

Here's where you can buy and secure your tickets!!!

This is a courtesy to a few of you space cadets that might have simply forgotten there was a deadline. Most of y'all have completed the transaction - but if you haven't you need to hop on that.

ALSO - if - for any reason - you're not able to attend this year, we need to know immediately - to fill those seats.

ALSO - if you have a problem purchasing your tickets and you fully intend to be there - drop me an email at HK at AintItCool.Com!

Thanks - and we'll be having additional announcements coming this Monday. SO STAY TUNED - Excitement is at Every Corner!!!

Can we bring stuff with us into the theater? Things like...

    by toxic frog

Camera, pillow, ipod, etc? A friend of mine who attended a few years ago seriously recommended a hemmorhoid pillow to keep from going numb - no joke.

This will be loads of fun!

    WAIT ... WAIT ... WAIT...

    by jimmy rabbitte

...isn't the thing called BUTT NUMB-A-THON?

...shouldn't things like hemorrhoid donuts be against the rules?

...or... we could just call it "24 Hours With a Very Soft, Comfortable Cushion Under My Bum"

    SM3?

Whenever I see that written anywhere I still automatically think Super Mario 3.
I am so old. I still live in the early 90's.

    Toxic Frog re: cameras

    by knightshift

I don't think they're allowed 'cuz BNATs in the past had a big no-electronics policy. That's understandable though. But I'd *love* to get a good pic of Harry holding the birthday present that I'm bringing him (BTW Harry it came out great! :-)

Can we get some sort of official word on this? I can understand not allowing cameras. What about an ipod (which I'll have with me beforehand) and a cell phone (turned off in the theater of course).

    No electronics, Toxic Frog...

    by 433

...it's to save time in the security lines. Although the BNAT audience is the most respectful in the world (no film has ever been pirated from BNAT -- not "300", not "V for Vendetta", nothing. Even when we saw "Knocked Up" about seven months before it hit theaters, nobody did anything naughty. However, the studios still haven't figured out that they don't need to worry about us, so we have to go through a security pass or two. Extra items just add to the time it takes to get over 200 people through the line.

Is pen and a pad of paper okay?

    by knightshift

I thought of bringing 'em in a bag (but nothing else). Just wanted to have something to take notes with so that I can do a write-up for my blog :-)

You could always go the Existenz route

And just convert your front teeth into a Dictaphone.

seppukudkurosawa here's an idea along those lines :-)

    by knightshift

During World War II, some Allied spies were captured by the Nazis and put into prison. Believe it or not one of them took his false teeth out and turned them into a working radio! They were able to send and receive messages and whenever they had to hide the radio, the guy just put it back in his mouth. Maybe we could rig something up like that, where a BNAT attendee with braces can send a streaming podcast out with live coverage...
