UPDATED!!! AICN & Fantastic Fest Screening & Costume Contest for ENCHANTED!!!

Published at:  Nov 19, 2007 1:51:26 PM CST

UPDATED - Here's how you get in - We've got 100 seats left - SO... Email: Brad at Original Alamo . Com with the subject line, "Love's First Kiss" and the names of your party. Good luck and I'll see you there.

Hey folks, Harry here with another fun screening for you folks out there! Now here's the deal... In addition to just the screening - there's a Costume Contest with Prizes like AUTOGRAPHED Posters, unsigned posters and soundtracks... plus the knowledge that you were an awesome Disney PRINCESS, HERO or VILLAIN!!! That's right - this screening is for all of you folks that dearly love the wonderful land of DISNEY! This film is trying to celebrate that fantasy come to life and we'll have prizes for those of you that embrace that joy! The word I've heard on ENCHANTED is that this is a very cool flick, and I can't wait to see a little Disney Magic with the rest of y'all.

Hey Fantastic Fest-ers!

You, the proud few who wore a Fantastic Fest 2007 badge so near your heart, are still very dear to ours. And to show you our (continuing) appreciation, we want to give you all first crack at seats to a FREE promotional screening!

Next Tuesday (11/20), at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, Ain't It Cool News presents the new Walt Disney feature ENCHANTED.

Show's at 7:30PM. So, if you want a seat, send me a reply with the words 'FAIRY PRINCESS' and your name in the subject line. A seat for the first 100 replies! (If you don't make it, don't worry, you'll have another shot on Thursday when the rest of the seats open up to the general public, and don't forget to check out www.aintitcool.com)

Oh, I know what you're thinking- isn't ENCHANTED a kids' movie? Absolutely, it is! So if you think you're too old to enjoy Susan Sarandon as a wicked witch who turns into a dragon and terrorizes Manhattan, then don't reply. You should probably be at work anyway. But for the rest of us, have a ball!

Unsure? Check out our show page here: AICN & FANTASTIC FEST Special ENCHANTED Screening!!!

Hope to see you there with an involuntary smile and wide, enchanted eyes!

Were we supposed to get an email about this? I was a badge holder at Fantastic Fest this year and haven't gotten anything about it.

is the code word or whatever for the email, yeah that's pretty umm...well maybe not gay but definatly strange. On the chance that I did live in Austin and did make it to this screening (answer to both is not likely, Enchanted looks good but I don't live in Austin so yeah not going to happen for poor Bloo) what the heck is a fat 30 year old male like me going to dress as...Belle's dad? The Hunchback? I say this contest is rigged toward the beautiful ARRRGGGHHHok never mind, why am I even posting here, I don't know

I can't seem to find the address anywhere... but I think my wife would love to see this, especially now that we live in South Austin and this is a lot closer...

i hear it's supposed to be a 2-hour long tribute..

to when the 2-d disney cartoon flicks were GOOD. it does look interesting but i always cringe at the sight of cartoons singing or sparking contreversy. i use to go to all those shows when i was a tyke with my grandparents. those were good times. now i just watch them myself after a hard's day work to try and recapture some of that. so far only cars and ratatouille have done so.

I'm stuck in IL, and I have no way to make that lovely Giselle costume, the mint one that looks like it's from the regency era. Dammit.

I wasn't going home for Thanksgiving, I'd be there. I found plenty of perfect material on clearance that would make a great costume. It'd be lots of fun.
