X-FILES 2 hits as early July of next year?
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I posted a story yesterday about X-FILES 2 finally going into production. Now the trades have confirmed it and added a few interesting tidbits of their own.
First and foremost they announced a July 25th release date. That's pretty damn fast considering they haven't started shooting (or have they?!?). They've also let slip that the film is a stand-alone story and, most interestingly to me, that it'll be a supernatural thriller. I always loved the more horror-driven episodes and grew pretty tired of the heavy conspiracy stuff. This sounds like more in the tradition of the episodes I loved.
What do you folks think?
